His Royal Majesty Ivan I of House Bjork, King of The Second Kingdom of The Frozen Forest, King of Frozen Forestrians, Scraelings, Forestrian Norse and Kriwi. Archduke of The Heartlands, Lord-Protector of Truvaria, or rather, King Ivan is the current ruler of The Frozen Forest. Born in the The Royal Palace of Truvaria, in the city of Truvaria. Firstborn, Ivan was groomed for rulership. He graduated from the Royal Academy of The Frozen Forest before commissioning into The Frozen Forest Royal Navy (a smaller sub-agency of the then Frozen Forestrian People's Navy). He spent time in the colonies, eventually seeing combat as the commanding officer for a contingent of Dourian Marines, before being wounded and subsequently discharged from service. Ivan ascended to the throne upon the death of his father, King Alvor. Some time later he launched a coup against the already weak and corrupt Communist Party of The Frozen Forest (CPTFF), restoring absolute monarchism to TFF. Ivan as a younger man disapproved of arranged marriage, but his own failure's to procure a wife led to the unfortunate circumstance where he was unmarried and without an heir. Fearing his brother's growing influence and a possible coup, he formally adopted the child of one of the Dourian Marine officers he had served with in The Treezian Archipelago. While legally unable to act as his heir due to her adopted status, Ivan has still groomed her for rulership. Over the years he has survived turmoil, foiled mutinies and coups and avoided assassination by his political opponents, leaving him fundamentally paranoid and callous.

With Ari: His relationship with his younger brother can best be described as tense. He doesn't necessarily hate Ari, but he can recognize that Ari's ambitions and power have been growing since the beginning of his reign. Ivan fears the day that Ari finds himself a wife and heir, because when that day comes so might the challenge to Ivan's kingship. Privately he thinks his brother is too untempered, and that he can't appreciate the subtleties of rulership.

With Freja: Ivan's relationship with his sister Freja is pleasant. Her marriage to the High King of Camelone, and her two children by him have cemented the alliance and positive relationship between The Frozen Forest and Camelone. In a more private sense he sympathizes with Freja's lot, having been sold off at a young age for the good of her nation. He looks forwards to the moments when he can see his sister and his niece and nephew.

With his Parents: Ivan had a close relationship with his father all the way up until his fathers death, though he believes privately that his father was too soft and weak. Ivan's mother died when he was only ten years old, so his memories of her are mostly fond. He remembers her as a serious but loving parent.

• Fencing - Ivan is an experienced fencer, having taken up the hobby while at The Royal Academy and keeping up with it. Due to the risk of assassins, he only fences with close friends.

• Jousting - Ivan picked up jousting while visiting Camelone following his sister's marriage to their King, though finding time to do so is difficult.

• Dog Training - Ivan spends what little free time he has training his dog Dragon.

-Despite his silvery hair, Ivan has no known Treezian blood. Doctors have been unable to explain why his hair is silver, but have pointed to it as a random mutation.
