Armello is a grim fairy-tale themed video board game available for Windows on Steam. The titular Kingdom of Armello is facing a dark time and perils plague the land. The mighty King who united the four Clans has fallen mad from the twisted force known as the Rot and threatens his own kingdom with ruin. Heroes must rise to defeat the corrupted King and ensure the survival of their Clans! These are the Bear, Rabbit, Rat and Wolf Clans, each with their own Heroes, cultural themes and playstyle strengths. While I hope this brief summary of the game will entice readers to check it out, its main purpose is to shine some light on the inspiration behind the theme of this event.

Fight for Armello will be a 10-day competition held during the upcoming Europeia-Equilism-TWP Festival of Friendship, beginning on October 19 at 4:00 AM (EST). Contestants must create a new puppet nation to participate in the competition and move that puppet into the staging region, which will be disclosed at a later date, prior to the start of the event. Once the competition begins, contestants must move their puppet into a target region each day. After the major update of the day, contestants will be awarded points based on their ranking in the target region's daily census. The name of the next target region will be sent to contestants using regional telegrams after points have been tallied each day and this process will repeat until the competition is over.

Contestants will be divided into four teams, based on the Clans of Armello, and will need to work together to score as many points as they can each day as the team with the most points in the daily census will claim the target region for their Clan. The Clan which rules the most regions by the end of the competition will claim dominion over Armello and receive an award! Furthermore, the highest-scoring player of the winning Clan will also be declared King or Queen of Armello and receive a special prize! High-scoring players from other Clans will also receive awards as well, so don't be disheartened if your Clan doesn't win! Just in case I've lost anyone, here's a brief summary of the rules:

• Contestants will be divided into four teams: Bear Clan, Rabbit Clan, Rat Clan and Wolf Clan.

• Contestants will earn points based on their ranking in a target region's daily census each day.

• The highest-scoring Clan each day will claim that day's target region as their own.

• The Clan with the most regions after Day 10 will be declared the winners and rule Armello!

• The highest-scoring player from the winning Clan will also be declared the King/Queen!
