(Europeia, February 17, 2017) – This week a series of events highlighted Europeia’s cultural vibrancy, demonstrating that the region is a leader in off-site forum activity in NationStates. Weekend Games, the Valentine’s Day Celebration, and the Compliment Project took center stage for the past week.

Europeia’s Minister of Culture Writinglegend has announced the Weekend Games schedule for the weekend beginning today, February 17. A staple of Europeia’s Ministry of Culture, the Weekend Games offer a different game Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings for citizens and foreign guests to compete in good-spirited fun.

The schedule for the weekend of February 17 is as follows:

Friday February 17: Cards Against Humanity 8 p.m. EST

Saturday February 18: Correlations 8 p.m. EST

The Valentine’s Day Celebration occurred on February 14, and included a number of activities for Europeia’s love-struck citizens.

A screening of Romeo and Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio served as the feature film for the celebration, while games such as “We Ship It”, “Love Captions”, “Heart Attack”, and a Mixlr Dating Game rounded out the event’s festivities.

Finally, Europeia’s Supreme Chancellor Mousebumples led the implementation of the Compliment Project, dubbed “The Power of Positive Thinking.” “We need to take a moment (or maybe more than just a moment) to put aside our political differences and remember what it is about each of us that makes us friends, that makes us a community - that makes us Europeia,” the Supreme Chancellor said in her opening remarks on the Project.

The Compliment Project collected anonymous compliments submitted by citizens about their fellow Europeians. Mousebumples then collected these compliments and sent them to each citizen who received them. “Wow, this made my day. It stuck with me all day,” said Senator United Vietussia upon receiving his compliments. “Mouse, this project was amazing.”
