History:
This history of Afghanistan diverges after the Second Anglo Afghan War in 1880. The war ends in a British victory and Afghanistan is part of the Empire for a short time, The British immigrate en masse to the mineral rich region. Around 1947 the British Government divided British India into five nations, India, Pakistan, and the Himalayas. The Himalayas received the lands of Afghansistan, Northern and Northeastern India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. India was ruled by the Hindu Majority along with Pakistan being ruled by the Islam Majority. The Himalayas however, was ruled by the Christian Minority. At first, the Christian's tried desperately to convert some of the population to Christianity, and overtime Christianity slowly became the dominant religion in the nation. The Himalayas enjoyed relative peace until the Muslim Uprising in 1982. The Muslim minority struck out against the christian population. The war was an extremely bloody and drawn out war which went for ten years. In 1992 when the war was over, The Himalayas went into an isolationist state to build up infrastructure and military equipment. Now that the infrastructure in Afghanistan is magnificent, the nation is ready to become a trade empire and prosper.
