Nunnally vi Britannia was a royal Britannian Princess born on October 25th, 2323 A.C. and was the daughter to Emperor Charles zi Britannia and Empress Marianne vi Britannia of the Royal Britannia Family. She currently rules over Northern Ateria [United] under the title of Empress.
During her time as a royal Princess and as the little sister to Lelouch vi Britannia in her childhood past, Nunnally was described to be a lively child who loved her brother and their royal parents. At the age of eight, Nunnally was rendered a paraplegic when an assassination on her mother Marianne vi Britannia was carried out and was caught in the crosshairs of the assassins. The gruesome event left her traumatized and was blinded as a result.
After a confrontation that took place in the Royal Palace between her brother Lelouch and Emperor Charles, they were both exiled to the island nation of Japan where they would be held as political prisoners. Fortunately, the pair would find themselves living with Prime Minister Genbu Kururugi and his son Suzaku Kururugi.
After the Second Pacific War which left Japan in ruins when the Britannian Empire deployed Knightmare Frames against the Japanese military, Herself, Lelouch and their friend Suzaku escaped to find help from the Ashford family. Years passed on and the colonized nation was renamed Area 11, Nunnally turned fourteen and lived in the safety and supervision of her older brother, their maid 
Sayoko Shinozaki and the Student Council in the Ashford Academy.
Though was bound to a wheelchair and blind, Nunnally retains her cheery personality and hopes that one day she will see and walk again.
When the new Imperial government was searching for a heir to the throne to replace Lelouch, Nunnally offered herself up to the government and assured them that she will take her brother’s place as Empress and help stabilize the situation. The Imperial government, reluctant at first due to her physical disabilities, accepted her to become Northern Ateria’s new ruler.
After her coronation as the 100th Empress, she declared that the Empire will do anything to help their fellow realms and their neighbours around the world to assure lasting centuries of peace, tranquility and international relations.
Nunnally is kindhearted and caring to her people and tries giving all of her best efforts to pursue a peaceful and diplomatic stance inside of the Empire's political affairs so that she could try building better and stronger ties with leaders in many countries around the world.
