Sargon Reman for Chief Mariner

Hello Fellow Citizens!

Many of you do not know me yet personally but I would like to introduce myself to you.

My name is Sargon Reman and I have been playing NS since 2008. During my time in the game I have gained a lot of experience in regard to the military R/D and regionbuilding.

My previous experience is:

In the region of Minoa I was a Chancellor (head of government). I led a cabinet and created and maintained the Minoa forums as its Root Administrator. I also engaged in Foreign policy and wrote the regions embassy policy.

In Scotia I was a Forum Admin, Prince Consort and FA Minister and Speaker of the House. I passed legislation there and wrote the regions embassy policy while being a Privy Councillor and advising the King and elected government.

In 10000 Islands I was Minister of Immigration where I led the largest pay increase in history for recruiters (10ki had a currency forum side called tacos) and led initiatives that fundamentally shaped the department. When I left 10ki I was a top 10 recruiter having sent well over 26,000 manual telegrams and recruiting roughly 240 nations. As a Minister I was automatically a member of the legislature where I passed legislation on various topics. I also created the 10KI WA Secretariat which helps the WAD retain WA endorsement counts and encourage authorship.

World Assembly:

I also have WA authorship experience. To date I have authored 1 GA resolution and 3 SC resolutions. I served as World Assembly Secretariat for 6 months where I created an awards system to retain new nations.

Military Experience:

In 10KI I was a TITO Knight. This means that I recieved over 50 deployments (91 in actual total) and I was awarded several medals for deployments against nazi ideology and the liberation of regions from raiders.
I currently serve on the Free Nations Defense Association as the Reserve Taskforce Commander of FNR (Free Nations Region).
I am also the Minister of Defense in FNR.

Platform

1. Ministries

Under the Constitution the Chief Mariner is granted the authority to create the Ministries of the Cabinet. Since we have a small community I think it is important that we limit the number of Ministries to the bare necessity of what we need for now while still having a proper government to run the region.

I will have the following:
A. Mariner of Immigration
B. Mariner of Foreign Affairs
C. Mariner of Regional Development/Outreach
D. Mariner of Roleplay
If there is a interested nation then I will appoint a Deputy Chief Mariner. If the Deputy is active enough then I may give them a Ministry portfolio if possible.

2. Recruitment

Recruitment is obviously imperative if we want MT to grow and inactivity to decline. As Chief Mariner I will revamp the Welcome Message, launch a robust stamp donation program and ensure we have API telegrams going out with a captivating message.

3. Foreign Affairs

During my tenure we will be seeking to proactively engage in foreign affairs and embassy maintenance. I will repeal and replace the current embassy law to have more embassy flexibility while keeping Fascist restrictions.

MT is actually a well known region and during this term I wish to put us more on the diplomatic stage and give it the honor it deserves in that sense.

I will seek treaties with roleplay regions and other regions that are strong allies of Antifa and what we stand for. I have been a defender the entire time I have played this game and I will be a good custodian of the heritage we have in MT during my official conduct.

4. Development and Outreach

MTs domestic development is the highest priority to me if elected. There is more than enough room for regionbuilding. Our region needs to grow, we need a more developed Judiciary, a proactive government, a rock solid WA program, better RMB standards, and a region that is built with the newcomer more thoughtfully in mind.
People have worked hard to get where we are now, but I know there are still achievements that must occur so we can get even better and be even more powerful.
