Our region is small. It has risen and fallen like the sea.
Yet we have always seemed to endure on the principles of freedom for all who wish to be part of us.

If anyone wishes to make a proposal please adhere to Roberts Rules of Order on our message board and we will proceed from there.

We have had a number of alliance requests submitted in the past 24 hrs. It is now that we should welcome these requests to move this region forward once again.
I make a motion that we proceed with honoring those requests as a group and vote on them.

I have a second to the motion put forth, is there any discussion?
I suggest that we suspend Article IV section V for this vote. This will allow that all states who are here at the time of the vote posting could legally have their vote recognized.
We will have to do something with that Section if we can not bring ourselves to writing a new Constitution.
I do feel that we should also add into the motion that we recognize the request put forth by Sarnor since it falls outside of the original time set.
With 4 Aye- 0 nays. Motion passes and will be enacted upon at once.
With the addition of new members, we should ask that if they would like to introduce themselves feel free on our M.B.
We also have to take into consideration a number of items that deal with the Constitution.
1st we need to look at the Article referring to recognizing new states. Article IV section V needs to be revisited. I would be open to just states joining into our Congress when entering into our region and are good standing.
2nd We need to think about if we need to establish a Senate since an Amendment specifically has precedents in that order.
We must meet the standards of our Constitution if we are to keep it or change it if we decide to.

These puppets who are here, am I to understand they are with us or against us?
What have we become? Truly there needs to be a measure put in place if this region is going to be a puppet storage region. I argue that this should not be what our region should strive for.
What my colleague has said about our quests is not representative of all NS in this region. We should be a region open to all. States here should stay as long as they like.
That is why we should take a look at Article IV Section V of our constitution. The sooner the better.

I do believe that a recent region that was allied to us, ACA has been taken over by invaders from Black hawks. Seems to me that we need to make an official statement about this action and others like in the future.
We support region's sovereignty. We will not support the actions of invaders. We should break ties with any region that supports this group of tyrants.

Such actions put forth by the Representative from the Southern Region will need be to evaluated by a committee before we go forth with any action as sanctions or an official statement. Would you wish to chair the committee? I can arrange for you an officer position so that you can help advise our government on these matters.

I believe we should change Article V section II.
I wish to make a motion that we change Article V section II to read.
To amend the Constitution, a proposal must be made by a member of Congress. It is approved when 2/3rds of the Congressional members vote in favor of it.
This needs to be put in place if puppets remain in this region. They are inactive for the most part and should not have a say in regional affairs since they have no loyalty to the region.
I ask that it would be tabled for 3 days.

There are two regions @Iron Front and @United World, currently seeking alliances with us. If you support our region going forward, will all recognized members of this Congress signify by liking this announcement. I will have no vote in the matter. If we achieve a majority, I urge the President to approve.

Is the motion that has been floored an Amendment that has to be voted on by the current procedures stipulated in the Constitution? I believe that the President must make a ruling on this and be announced before any further voting take place.
