Absolutely! I am glad to see you have joined us here Lennonians! If you agree, I will list you as interim ambassador while we transition. Additionally, I have asked The grand ocean to send the message listed below to all those nations who have embassies with the former DSA. Please work with The Grand Ocean to coordinate efforts, if it seems appropriate. I'm trying to keep a balance between getting this region off the ground and not usurping any power held by democratically elected officeholders.

In light of the recent expulsion and banning of the democratically elected WA Delegate from the Democratic Socialist Alliance, a successor region has been created: the Democratic Socialist Assembly. Please support the new DSA as we forge ahead with a truly democratic system of governance. Opalaland has asked his old rival and friend, Bazlantis to join in the new DSA and to bring with him the Charter system. Bazlantis and Opalaland have been talking about forming a new region together since Cynthia McKinney deprived the WA Delegate Bazlantis of administrative powers.
Opalaland pledges to never abuse the power of the Founder and binds Opalaland to the Charter in the new DSA. Furthermore, Opalaland has resigned from the WA to ensure that the Founder is never eligible to serve as WA Delegate, thus removing Opalaland entirely from foreign affairs and direct governance of the region. A region is envisioned where the people govern and the founder enjoys no special privilege in governance except the honor of serving as founder.
Please support the new DSA, Democratic Socialist Assembly, to forge a bright path ahead in a stable, democratic region.

I assumed, though this can be decided by those who join, that for convenience's sake, the charter of the former DSA would apply in the interim while the Charter is formally adopted by the residents of the new DSA.

I am so glad that this region has been created. I have changed the Forum Boards to reflect its new managers and also have emailed every member of the Forum Boards and told them of whats going on and asked them to join us. Futhermore I have summarily banned CMK from them indefinately and telegrammed her to tell her that they are not to be used for the business of the 'Democratic' Socialist Alliance.
I would imagine that after a period of time those who have chosen not to join us here in our new DSA will be asked to do so once more and if the refuse will be removed from our Forums. This may seem harsh to our old region but I believe it must be done in order to secure our survival.
Lastly, welcome to everyone who has chosen to take a chance and join our new region, together we will create a bright and properous future for each other.

I believe after a grace period of some time that new elections should be conducted. I also have put forward a new amendment to change the region motto and flag to a more appropriate new beginning. I just finished sending personal telegrams to each member of the former DSA asking them to join us in this endeavor. I hope that many will join us as we move forward to a stable, democratic future.
I agree with Krusoya that a grace period for elections seems quite reasonable, although I'm not sure exactly when we should schedule new elections to be held.
P.S. I didn't realize what an undertaking it would be to message over 170 nations until I actually began the work. Phew!

Have we considered contacting some of the splinter regions that left the old dsa prior to this final chasm? If not, I can start to coordinate some of that recruiting activity. I think that it's only a matter of days before we are able to become bigger and stronger than the old dsa ever was.
