Western Feminism used to be about something, but then they achieved all their goals and in typical lazy Western fashion they started making up problems that don't exist ("the Patriarchy", "Mansplaining", "Manspreading", "Rape Culture" in the West, etc.) so they could pretend to be oppressed and get away with being obnoxious, intolerable twats.
And in so doing they systematically ruined the reputation of REAL Feminist movements outside the West in places like Saudi Arabia, India, China, South Africa, Afghanistan, etc. where women actually face REAL problems like actual rape cultures, femicide, honour killings, bridal kidnappings, etc.

It's become a form of political correctness. You can no longer express an opinion otherwise without being shouted down by self-professed 'feminists' or others who blindly sympathise with the idea without actually knowing the crazy ideas that it promotes. I'm all for 1st wave and 2nd wave feminism but the third wave is cancer. It is attempting to tip the scales so that women are better off than men using salacious theories such as 'man-splaining' like you said. To add to that, many 2nd wave feminists have criticised modern feminism due to its promotion of bias towards women.
(I'll try to respond to our last debate on immigration soon, I'm been busy over the last 2 weeks)
This among the biggest the biggest problems, which is that many people are misinformed about what this ideology actually is, and it makes those who oppose it look bad in the regard that people who don't understand how atrocious 3rd wave feminism is believe that we are fighting against equality when it is, in reality, the opposite. Besides this, many more individuals, including several politicians, misconstrue what this 3rd wave of feminism actually stands for, instead interpreting it as similar to 2nd wave feminism. This is one of the fundamental issues that the opposition to 3rd wave feminism need to realize, as this is sheds light on why several moderates and centrists aren't against it at this time; they aren't truly aware of the nature of this ideology.

The first day boasts a lot of distraction and theft between some of the tributes and yet another gruesome death.
