Honour guard wrote:After Erika was being sheilded from the gooey skeletal remains by the soldiers, that she decided ws for the best that she couldn't see as she started to move back into the base, she looked up to see that their Admiral was back with Melyphis. Moving over to them as they land she timidly looked up to the dragons as Melyphis got down off of Tamour's back. "What is the situation Erika? Are we secure?" The skittish broodmother nodded as she looked beyond the wall as more of their forces started to arrive to shore up their defenses. "W-We are... Though their forces are quickly advancing with a Cyclops taking the lead, giving Yajana a hard time as she had to retreat behind their defensive barrier preventing them from shooting our wounded."

With the retreating forces, Yajana just chuckled softly as she started to get back on her own two feet to retreat with everyone by Mierl's side. "I should feel honoured that it would target me then instead of Sieg." She says with a smile before looking back to look at the Cyclops and its support catching up to it. "I might have enough power left for one big blast but after that I won't be able to walk for awhile."

Piper took a gander inside as they got inside the store, she was more interested in the separate pieces since she was more suited for quick paced fighting and not drawn out brawls. She didn't have to worry about guns, being a psionic she could alway fall back on that and her knives. To that end, Piper went about looking into a chestplate that she could move around in well enough and fit under her overcoat, along with a set of armoured gloves and grieves. Once finding a set that fit her, she looked to Rovin as she went to buy them "Alright, that should cover the armour. I don't really need a weapon since it looks like someone bought most of them, being a psionic I should be alright. Unless you think I should get something as a backup?"

The Dragon gave Erika a smile, trying to reassure her so she could be less worried, before considering the situation as it was. Hearing what they were dealing with however, he got somewhat more serious and considered a good response to the situation. Finally, he nodded, "Very well then, we deal with the Cyclops. Given how the situation is progressing for them in orbit, I would not be surprised this is a desperate last push for them, to probably gain some leverage in negotiations for surrender. Omnipo's troops aren't suicidal, they'll give up as soon as they are certain victory can't be reached nor can they swing it back to an advantageous position. As such, we can re-orient our strategy. If we dispose of that Cyclops, and make enough of a display of force, we will be able to break them. Let's just avoid too many losses in the short term. Erika, Melyphis, gather the troops up. My Combat Drakes and I will concentrate our heavy firepower to bring down the mech, the rest of you deal with its supporting troops and the AA Tanks, or at least draw their attention. Don't worry about me, a Cyclops is a ground support mech, it struggles with deadly airpower like that of a Dragon!"

Mierl was observing the situation, and noting that the Cyclops was now receiving support he shook his head, "No, the mech has support now. You cannot afford to leave yourself vulnerable right now. We will hold instead, and coordinate. After all, getting too focused was how the Wraith got past Sieg by just walking." While that could be interpreted as a dig at Sieg, it was just Mierl speaking matter of factly, since that was what happened.

There were plenty of pieces of more flexible gear, less protective obviously than something big and bulky but more easily concealed and providing ample protection all the same. Rovin considered it, and then simply grabbed one of the few remaining weapons, which was a small slug-thrower that was fashioned in the style of a revolver, likely meant mostly to draw up nostalgia. He handed the revolver to Piper with a grin, "Take this too. Not only is it always good to have a backup weapon in case of things going unexpectedly, this will help you blend in. First because normal folks can carry small self defense weapons, like pistols, and not be suspicious here in Iammelon, but also to make you more Shokouan. After all, they like their more classical looking weapons. Nobody will think twice if you had one of these."

Triporea wrote:The Bezi soldiers would not be so easily drawn inside the rebel lands. The marines were under strict orders to sit and defend the border. They did have orders to fire upon any Ialao that attempted to cross the border from the rebelling continent into Union territory. This was enforced, as the Imperial Marine Artillery would remind the Ialao of as they tried getting close with machine gun nests or an eight pounder full of grape. The cannons were all trained on the forest of course, and right now the fortresses were still coming down by heavy cranes mounted on the ships themselves. But the calvary division sent in were trying to do their jobs to the best of their ability.

Meanwhile, as the ships all started touching down with the fortresses, the men were quick to begin setting up for Shanalotte's sake. Though Shanalotte had not left the HIMS Sovereign yet. The advisors were already being ordered to land however, and were to go ahead and join the welcoming party for Shanalotte.

The rebels at the current time weren't interested in drawing people in yet, more in defending what they had and harassing scouts and perimeter guards. They of course weren't interested in dealing with machine gun nests, and when fully set up the rebels simply backed off for the most part. Full scale fighting wasn't of interested, except for the cavalry who closed in, and would be attacked in force. The advisers who weren't with the cavalry meanwhile followed along with the instructions of being with the welcoming party.

Triporea wrote:As the rock shot out in front of the creature, it stopped and grunted. It stopped and grunted, shifting the scythe from laying across its back and shoulders to a more traditional stance with it. As Yosgel walled himself off, Multohula’s spiralling attack got cut in half by the scythe, and it responded with two horizontal slices with the scythe directed af Mulltohula. Most... strangely however... Multohula wouldn’t have been able to dodge the second strike... as it came down about to slice her neck, the scythe bounced off her skin. A loud bell’s ring shook the room. A black X appeared over Multohula’s head. The creature growled.
“Hm... I see,” it spun around to face Yosgel. Taking a power stance, it threw the scythe right for him. As soon as the scythe left his hands, spinng in the air, the creature left quickly. Returning down the same passage it had arrived from by spinning to the passage entryway, then sliding down the rocky formations into darkness. In the end... Yosgel and Multohula were the only two survivors of the bloodbath.

Yosgel would simply cover his face expecting a strike to hit and Multohula would simply back away quickly yet still being hit with the second strike. "Multohula! You still alive?" Yosgel shouted. Multohula would be confused and shocked on what just happened. She touches her neck and it seems to be fine, he feels a slight vibration coming from from that bell sound. "Hey.. what is that mark on your head?" Multohula would touch her forehead to feel something odd, like something was imprinted on it. She would attempt to rummage through her pockets to find anything reflective but nothing. Yosgel offered her his glasses to see as it is reflective enough to be seen. "What the hell is this.. A curse?" Multohula exclaimed. "You're the former blood cultist here, i have no clue what is that. Besides that im boutta literally crack his skull when he gets too close to me. Cmon lets go!" Yosgel said. Multohula stumbled a bit as they enter deeper into the cave whilst Yosgel called in for back up.

"This is Captain Yosgel to ship, we need reinforcements now. Dont we have T.H.O.R. trooper onboard right now?" Yosgel shouted in the comms. The crew members on the ship would look at each other. "Y-yes sir.. we do have someone from Impaling Rain but she's asleep right now.."

Multohula could tell this was not a curse. This was a scar. Plain and simple. Like someone had taken a hot iron rod to her forehead. It wasn’t painful to touch, the scar tissue wasn’t deep or would never heal. This was a tiny little cut. The cave was... deep, and it grew darker. But as the reached the bottom, all they found was... some sort of skeleton. The skeleton had been crucified a long time ago, the crucifix was a circular piece of wood with a large cross through it. The skeleton vaguely resembled the creature they had just fought. Tall, antlers, claws for hands. But... it couldn’t be... the creature they just fought was very alive and animated. But this skeleton was properly dead... Multohula could sense.. the creature had been here recently... but its essence was fading. Like it just was here a moment ago, but now its gone. Left. There were runes, scattered about the room. Carved into the walls. Turning around to face the slope they came down, the two found three more skeletons. Two had been laid to rest in some manner, as their bodies were posed in a typical funeral style, but the third was dead at a chair. Slumped over as if it had died sitting down. All the clothing of these skeletons had long since eroded and rotted away. Any weapons or books they might have once used were not even recognisable from the rocks on the ground.

Triporea wrote:Jazmin slowly climbed back up the hill to Filia, she had a scraped elbow, but was otherwise fine. She had some anxiety in her eyes as she came up the hill. “Are you doing ok?” She looked to Filia.

As Harlock reached the robot and human, he saw the robot was covered in green growths, large bubbles and boils interconnected with veins. It was like the robot was... infected somehow. But upon seeing Harlock, it ceased its pursuit of the human, who kept running, but now was backing away, and... fell into a tar pit. The robot looked at Harlock. It tried to speak, but whatever voice box this thing might have had was too badly damaged. It couldn’t utter any words, just horrible static. Then it sat there staring at Harlock, the eyes of the android flickering slightly.

This little treat was fairly tasty, but it was gone before he knew it. And Liline had focused on eating the hors d’oeuvres served with the tea. She sat there just silently staring at one of the wooden walls.

Filia remained silent for a moment as she kept an eye on Harlock in the distance, only breaking it to look at Jazmin "Yeah... Just abit creeped out right now... That guy is watching us somehow and I don't like it." She says wrapping her arms around herself, clutching at her clothing.

Getting a closer look at the robot before he moves back away from the puddle it as it tried to back away from him. Seeing the sickly boils and organic growths, he decided it was best to stay in the pure energy form where it was unlikely to infect him if the organic growths were parasitic in nature. The Prince could see that the robot was trying to talk to him but was beyond his skills to repair... Though that did not stop him from trying to communicate, but keeping in mind that this thing might be hostile "Nod simply for yes and shake for no if you are capable. Do you need help getting this gunk off of you?" Keeping a hand behind his back he charged some energy to spear the robot through if it decides to attack him.

He reveled in the tasty treat for the moment that it lasted, though once that faded he gave a gaze back to Lilien to notice her gaze, it wasn't quite vacant. But he wasn't sure if there was a purpose for it either. "Something on your mind?"

With Tamours order, Melyphis started to rally the troops that were arriving back at the base while Erika went to rally what troops were injured so they could get the proper medical attention that they needed as Zemia made it back with the forces that retreated with her, though they were quickly rallied by Mel as she put them to work shoring up their defenses and getting ready as Omnipo's forces started to come into view. "We'll hold back our Zerglings and banelings from charging since we have Harbingers, there would be to much friendly fire and I would rather them not have to watch their fire. So we will have our Nydus worms drop the banelings behind them to pressure them and think that we are going to continue attack from the back to draw support from their front line. On our front lines we'll have our swarm host, Hydralisks and Ravagers along with Excave soldier and Harbingers firing on the supporting forces. Leave the mech to our the Admiral and his Drakes." Following her orders, Xernus has the forces rally at the front lines to execute her plan.

Yajana listened to Mierl's plan, now that they were getting into the base with Sieg and keeping hold of the shield to reinforce the bases defenses, even if she did grumble under her breathe as Mierl was 'speaking matter-of-factly'. Yajana nodded to Mierl's judgement, she had already done alot on the battlefield already and she already felt like she was on the verge of collapse as it was. "Fair point. Hopefully Melyphus and Tamour have this well in hand."

Looking to the revolver that Rovin picked out, she couldn't help but smirk at his suggestion "A slug thrower, you may have just handed me the best 'back-up plan' ever. Do you know what I can do with one of these that you can't do with a blaster or a Plasma gun?" She says as she adds it to her gear and pays for it, fitting it on herself then and there since it all went over her clothes anyways to add to that mercenary look she was going for. Even going abit further to ruffle the fur on her ears and her air to give her more of a wild look so it looks more natural that she would side with the Grand Hunt. "And dooone~ Shokouan look finished."

The Ebony Republic wrote:Helka would now be exposed to the secrets of the ancient Sacellium Order. D'arons were at the Monolith, and the area itself was shielded by a completely opaque dome matching the environment, a powerful illusory veil. Mátevá stopped her Vindicator frame near the monolith, as D'arons patrolled the area to let multiple specialists take careful readings and attempt to find the signal the thing broadcasted on. The wreckage of the infamous Seraph frame, equivalent to a superweapon in its own right could be seen being repaired off to the side for off-site transport.

"Welcome to the Monolith." Mátevá remarked.

This was the first time in a while since she won against the Zerg in the eastern theatre that she was doing this relatively on her own. Learning everything about the ancient order she was briefed on before coming down to Angelarium's surface again, and then seeing the infamous frame for herself. It was all something to take in.

Her attention was brought back to Mateva as she welcomed her. "It looks pretty imposing... I guess I'll be doing frame training soon right. Or are we here for something else right now?"

Angelarium wrote:In the midst of this of this covert operations. A general report was sent out into the public domain by Alexandria researchers that been latter approved by the administrator Juliette Goldcorn. It most summarizes the existing overall consensus for geographical resources and landmarks. In regards to Faulkon region of the continent. Frigid boreal forests, snow capped tundras, sweeping grasslands, and tropical grassland along the South-Western Coast and Southern Border. In terms of resources they are a bit mixed, they don't have an abundance of one resource over the other. Given the amount of grassland however it's very possible for Faulkon to easily become the breadbasket of Angelarium with the proper agriculture. Another note of importance is that like the deposits of Arcalite there is the possibility of many ore veins of rare and exotic minerals that have not been discovered yet. For instance, Mount Oryx is said to have strange ore veins that faintly glow blue. Radiating some strange energy that does not seem to give harmful effect.

Albrecht nodded in agreement. Walking beside her the young man bore a warm smile as they ascend to the lookout point.

Aelius grin at her consort burning will. For a brief moment the thought of her father came to mind. Both posses a passionate spirit, a warrior in every aspect. Ah it has been so long since she thought back on the days of her service to the imperium. Strangely enough she has been dreaming of her father lately. As if after all this time he is finally looking down at her from heaven. "Great to hear!" She exclaimed as she slap a palm on his shoulder. Now wondering if all these events are being watched over by her father, Kraelles. Erecting a empire on the pages of history is something he would enjoy. Perhaps she should make a temple in his honor later. "The mountain is a good place, I could sense unique metal resting within." She noted regarding the mining site of interest.

The general report was rather invaluable for the enterprising Emperor, wondering if someone was watching and eager for his expansion if they so readily released such invaluable intel about the region to him. What tickled Badrick the most was the intel on Mount Onyx, to him it seems that Aelius was right on the money about the hidden valuables that the mounted had yet to yield. An excavation team was sent to the mountain to mind up the unusual metal to bring it to the Kamina Foundry to see what the odd metal is.

With the geological stats in mind, Badrick started to plan around what to do with this veritable 'Breadbasket' he envisioned to be the site for the revival of his race. Keeping the needs of his people and the Amziel's that live in the region he was intent on uniting under his banner. With plans already in motion to convert the Enclaves into massive farming villages to support their needs going forward, with the influx of potential food he could leverage his people's right to rule with trade to the other powers for food to ease up on their need to bring food from offworld to sustain their populations while keeping enough for themselves to support possible population booms. Keeping well in mind that the Pale Season was likely coming soon for a lot of his people. And having food for when that season 'bares fruit' will ease alot of internal tensions.

Albrecht would notice a shift in activity as they ascended the stair to the roof, through the windows he could see transports starting to arrive with more militia forces and even troops with all new insignia from the other AI forces. Vellia looks out the window as they ascend the stairs with a puzzled look on her face "Huh. What are naval forces doing down here? I wonder if something big is going on..." The puzzled look on her face remains for a moment as they finally make it to roof of the keep, from there they could see miles upon miles of stretching grassland in all directions while an Athailian carrier in high orbit while transports seem to travel to and from it all over the abandoned province.

-----

Badrick's mind was already hard at work as transports started to land and leave their enclave, forces starting to move out as he smiles to Aelius, still almost falling forward as she slaps his shoulder, though he just grins up at her more as he laughs. "All we realistically have to worry about is convincing the Faulkon resident's over to our side in a way that doesn't seem like we're bullying them to accept our occupation. If they accept us without any issues, the other powers will be less wary of our expansion." Now that she brought up the unique metals he gave that some thought, tapping a finger against his chin "If that's the case... I'll send an excavation team and extra security down there to dig it up. We'll see if we can find a use for it. Who knows, maybe we can make an interesting mecha or a line of Guard AI that will defend us with it. In saying that... We'll have to see about training a new personal guard. Though I can't have just anyone train them."

The robot shook its head no, simply watching Harlock. Continuing to stare at him, not moving. Just watching. It did nothing, said nothing, did not attempt to speak. Just sat there.

Jazmin clung to Filia’s clothes as well, curious and a bit frightened of what was happening.

The lunch and meal went on. Ever dish more impressive than anything Sephus had eaten, the spirits tasty and fine. The cigars smooth and rich. So finally, dessert came. As the two sat there, Sephus would have noticed they’d have been sitting there for two hours already. The waiter came back with two glasses, filled with a home made strawberry gelatine and ice cream on top. Liline started eating it, sighing.

He decided to try something else as he kept himself standing neutral, peering around to see if anyone else was around while being mindful of the robot "Am I speaking to the organic matter covering the robot then?" If at all he wanted to try and find out if this thing was safe to deal with, he wasn't going to bring this thing back to Filia and Jazmin regardless. But if he could speak with it then maybe he could deal with it without having to blast it and angering more if he could help it. He didn't come here to start a blood bath.

Looking around, Filia wasn't sure if they should be stood in the open like this, looking over to Harlock it looked like he was questioning the weird robot. "... Hey, there was a human being chased by that robot that Harlock has stopped. What say we go get that human and question him, try to get some info on just what that stupid dear man got us into huh?"

As time went by, as he tasted and finished dish after dish with each being progressively fancier than the last, the Lord commander was baffled that they were STILL EATING. He's never eaten this much in one sitting. When the desert finally came he was almost too stuffed to eat it, taking small spoonfuls to whittle away at it as he sits up to make room for it before he finally finishes it and sits back in the chair, sighing softly as he stared at the ceiling "How the heck can you people eat like this all the time...? I feel like I'm gonna explode..."

The Excave troops rallied up with Melyphis, trusting her commands to be sound since the Admiral appeared to trust her well enough. And so, they gathered up along with the Zerg, with the Harbingers moving up the front and the regular troops moving to the flanks so they could better attack the supporting forces, though they also stuck with the main zerg so as they could keep them protected. After all, the OMNI Cyclops was in the center of the enemy line, and the supporting units on its flanks and a bit in front of it. Regardless, the time was coming as the Omnipo forces drew into range, and the Harbingers began their work. In deadly volleys with all the weapons their great suits of armor had, they unleashed a devastating explosive barrage upon Omnipo's infantry. They were also making sure to knock out the enemy's AA Hover Tanks, and soon after that happened Admiral Tamour swooped in with his combat drakes to start attacking the Cyclops, drawing its attention.

Mierl smiled and nodded, "I am sure they will be able to handle this from here, you have done quite enough for now. Right now, you should rest. Conserve your strength for when you are needed next. You and your sisters performed very well today, so it will be quite needed in the future."

---

Rovin found it interesting that she seemed pleased with getting a slug thrower, and wondered what she was planning with it based on what she said. Otherwise, he threw her a thumbs up at her makeover, "Looking good! Ehm, for a disguise, I mean. You get what I what I was saying! But right, now we are a pair of mercenaries, just a casual sort. Come along then partner, now we have to visit Thorax Incorporated's shipyard here, find somebody who can get a spot on their superfrieghter! Just need one ambitious official type to bribe with info, and we'll be good."

Instead, they recommended that, now that the machine guns were prepared, they could safely focus on building further defensive emplacements and secure the landing zones properly.

The Cyboar Forces deployed to the surface, primarily Marines with a few Champions among them, spread out to investigate the listening post. As they moved, the Marines made sure the combat droids would remain offline, shooting them to make sure they stayed down. Cyboar did not like droids, and cleaning them up was a natural thing to do in a hostile base, and so they cleaned up the route they used on the way in. They did shortly after disable the console, and were not disturbed by the darkness. Cyboar forces did not need light to see, and as it fell they quickly gathered up into a defensive formation. As the droids they didn't attack on the way in woke up, the marines subsequently opened fire on them in coordinated volleys, to annihilate them.

"POINTBREAK STATION IS A CLASSIFIED INSTALLATION. DEEP SPACE IS UNCLAIMED TERRITORY. LEAVING IS NOT REQUIRED.' The transmission replied simply. "AGGRESSIVE POSTURING OR OFFENSIVE ACTIONS WILL RESULT IN RETALITATORY ACTION. CEASE."

----------------------------

Cyboar absolutely annihilated the still rebooting droids they had not originally destroyed, yet still the noise continued. Krrrk. Krrrrk. Krrrrk. At this, an unnatural darkness began to set in, magically induced. Night vision and thermals couldn't pierce it, and magical light sources were snuffed to a five foot radius around themselves in a circle. Even quantum communications seemed to go dark briefly as this occured, but quickly re-established themselves because quantum physics.

Then the first true attack came. While Cyboar might not have proper vision, they likely had other senses. The first attack came from the supernatural darkness, a wave of vorpal sharp blades of blood aiming to slice through one of the Marines cleanly, aiming to impale him to the wall. Then a figure neared one of the Champions, the air whooshing as a lightning like strike came from a mace towards his head, aiming to clock him straight in it. The tantu mace, if it struck, randomized its effect, bursting the area with a massive gale-force wind.

The robot held out a thumbs up, then turned it sideways. Holding it there for a few seconds, before turning and heading for the tar pit and the man inside of it. Who was slowly sinking.

Jazmin nodded a bit, following Filia wherever she would go.

Actually, there was a grace to this. The dishes Sephus were served were all a couple of bites. They weren’t massive portions. It was all delicate. So by the end of the meal, he was full for sure. But not gut-bustingly so. Liline took a bit of ice cream. “Hm? Oh... we don’t eat like this all the time... just on special occasions, like today. For these people, it’s the weekly lunch club meeting.”

Iammelon wrote:With Shanalotte returning to her ships, the Advisers suggested bringing the cavalry back quite soon. It would be dangerous if the losses included leadership, and there wasn't much to gain from the skirmishing now. Instead, they recommended that, now that the machine guns were prepared, they could safely focus on building further defensive emplacements and secure the landing zones properly.

Before Shanalotte had even departed they were bringing back in the calvary units. The commanders already knew what had to be done here. Plus a weight had been lifted with Shanalotte’s departure. As she left, Chelmsby took a deep breath. “All camps are secure... calvary are coming back. Lady Hurlocke, what’s the situation with our bombers?”
“Only a few targets were actually hit. AA fire pushed many of our craft away. We lost one plane too, shot down further inland.” Chelmsby sighed. But at that moment, Lord Bháin entered. With the Taurus. The measctha had a dirty face, dust had mixed with the sweat and coated his face. But he seemed elated otherwise. “Ay, you shoulda seen this glorious chap in the field! Big ole brute, I say!” He laughed, “Absolutely incredible display. Though, I have to ask, how many of them antler havin’ shysters you slash?”

Triporea wrote:Multohula could tell this was not a curse.

"What in the bloody hell did we stumble upon." Yosgel's reaction was obviously justified, he has no idea what the hell they are looking at. His eyes lock on the skeletons on the floor taking notice on one of them and so he decides to inspect on it. "Multohula can you come here for a second?" Yet she did not come, her eyes are in pure disbelief on what she is seeing on the crucifix. "Yosgel isn't this what we we're fighting a while ago?" The trembling in her voice is apparent, she is unsure why the same essence he felt from the creature they just met seemingly disappeared on to the bubbles. "Uh.. Y-yeah.." He scratches his head visibly confused. What the hell did they just enter?

As a group of 4 would arrive on the cave entrance they wont find both of them. "This is T.H.O.R. Trooper Adygea, where the hell are you guys? respond?" Yet the signal dint come through. Adygea would be walking towards one of the antechambers that supposedly lead to where they are supposed. He felt something bad from just looking there as if he isn't supposed to be there. Adygea would signal the other three behind him to sweep the area they are currently in.

The skeleton on the crucifix had an intoxicating look to it, something about it was unnaturally entrancing. At least... well... that was what Multohula felt the longer she stared at it. Inspecting the two skeletons on the ground, they found these were human skeletons, quite normal. One of the skeletons on the floor had a cracked ribcage, perhaps how they had died in the first place. The other skeleton was intact enough. But the one on the chair was very intact! No wounds, no clear sign of death. Nothing. The room had a cold feeling now, the temperature taking a sudden dip.

As the soldiers spread out in the cave they found the bodies of Yosgel’s original landing party. Minus Yosgel and Multohula. From behind the soldiers, they heard footsteps. Like... dress shoes walking through the cave. The distinctive clicks of the heel with every step. As they all turned around, they saw... a creature. It wore a red suit with a black cape over it. Black dress boots, antlers on its head, claws for fingers, a monocle over its right eye, Pale grey skin, a neat row of sharp teeth, and stood at a comfortable seven feet tall. In one hand it held a sort of scythe. Looking around, the creature grinned slowly. Its shadow growing more grotesque than the creature itself. Its smile faded as its eyes lay solely on Adygea. The creature sighed, “oh great... more of you...” It groaned and tried backing away.

Come along then partner, now we have to visit Thorax Incorporated's shipyard here, find somebody who can get a spot on their superfreighter! Just need one ambitious official type to bribe with info, and we'll be good."

Along with the Harbinger's heavy ordnance, the Excave Zerg Ravagers fired their bile artillery into the supporting forces with Hydralisks focus firing their serrated spines into targets who were in disarray by their renewed counter attack. And as Mely planned, two Nydus worms emerged behind their lines, spawning forth a short wave of Baneling's into their rear flank, the Hunter banelings leaped into their lines with feverous disregard for their lives. The Nydus worms retreating back underground and collapsing the tunnels behind them to lower the risk of them being taken out.

Looking around her, seeing her sisters working hard with her mother working even harder to make sure that they settle into this new home that she did her best to make... Yajana swelled with something she thought she lost long ago. She swelled with pride, seeing that her race has already started to atone for all the evil they have done as they changed in the hands of so many vile masters they can finally start to do some good in the galaxy instead of aid in it's destruction any longer. "Yeah... I should rest. If you're going to be staying out here..." She pauses for a moment before she takes his hand in hers as she smiles up to the Watrike. "Make sure to come back to me alive at the very least." She remains like that for a moment more, smiling sweetly up to the one that watched over her as she adjusted to this bizarre way of living, with her cheeks flared red before she moved to go rest in the barracks.

A coy smile crossed the lips of the Sin of Greed, her ears bending forward slightly as she picks up on his sudden backpedaling on he appearance. Holstering the revolver, after paying for it all naturally, she started to leave the store with Rovin in tow as they made their way to the shipyards "So you prefer a girl who looks alittle wild huh?" She says as she teasingly flickers her tails towards him as thy kept walking. "What sort of relationship would a pair of 'casual mercenaries' have do you think?" She was definitely out to tease him now after what she caught on to. Not that she wasn't flattered of course.

"A combination of the two?" Taking this anwer into account, he simply held out his hand to the machine, motioning for it to stop as he made his way to the tar pit. Standing at the edge of it, he extends his arm out and grabs the terran's clothing before attempting to pull him from the pit while also keeping his eye on the robot. He wasn't out of the woods about it being good or bad yet but the human was running from it for a reason.

Filia sighed softly as she started to walk over to the scene developing in the distance, she stopped within shouting distance of what was going on between Harlock and the robot. Keeping her eye on the creepy robot before lightly elbowing Jazmin "... If that creepy bot rushes us, I'll hold it down and you burn it."

Even so, he was not used to eating this way. He was only ever used to single dishes and used to eating alone. This was all uncharted territory for him, while she likely did this to entertain higher ups. "A weekly lunch meeting??" He looks back to her with an astonished look on his face "Is this how officers are supposed to eat... Jeez. And I got by on takeaway and I'm of a higher rank than most of the people here." He looked baffled, oh how naive he was.

The man had drowned by this point in the proceedings. Having been stuck in the tar for far too long. The robot thus, still tried to approach him. Not really caring about Harlock at this point.

Jazmin nodded. “R-right, fire powers... burn machine if machine bad.”

She nodded, “it’s all about high class and high society over here. But they don’t eat like this for every meal. Only very few can. It’s just a weekly luxury they get to enjoy.” She smiled. “Now what should we do?”

Yosgel attempts to find anything useful or somewhat out of the ordinary here, a bonus if it is anomalous and he can take it back to let the nerds study it on the ship. None of the skeletons appeared to be moving or alive in any capacity. So perhaps nothing was done to them. Who knows? They don’t feel like anything but dead bones and dirt and dust.

As the explosion happened, the creature was sent back a few feet. But out of the smoke left in the wake of the explosion, came a twirling spinning scythe. Having been thrown. It went straight for the one with the yellow eyes... all things considering. The creature then emerged, seeming to have already healed itself of all damage. It attempted to jump around the cave, slicing down anyone who wasn’t Adygea.

"Right. Frames." The woman got back into the Vindicator Frame, leading Helka to where the Gauss Frame was. It was...quite something, even compared to the Vindicator Frame. Mátevá got out of her frame via the cockpit and jumped down to look at it with Helka. The Gauss Frame, like most frames, was a bit more than double the height of a main battle tank, giving it a significant height advantage already. Gauss was made of Arcalite, with two wings extending from its back and two focusing irises for well, focus weapons in its palms. Its fingers appeared jointed, and it seemed, only to Helka, resonate on the same brainwaves as her, the same psionic frequency, so to speak.

As she was near, it kneeled down and opened the cockpit, to which Mátevá took a key with the symbol of a lightning bolt on it and handed it to Helka. "Your key. Needed to start it obviously. Your password will be something special to you, so make sure you remember it when you make it. Critical thing, never risk the cockpit or the frame. If it hits near there, it could overload the Drive and cause it to implode and....well...there's a reason there's safeguards on them. Plus it's expensive." She half-joked, lightly punching Helka in the arm. "Go ahead, get in and start her or him up. Or it."
