Tocan Isle Launches Space Program

Today President Emily Loren announced the creation of the Tocan Space Program, allocating (insert big scary number) Tocan Dollars.

“This is a big step forward for Tocan,” the president spoke in a press conference. “Tocan Isle is moving forward into the future, and with this space program we’ll expand our knowledge to the amazing expanse called the cosmos. We will cooperate with our fellow nations of SolarFlare to explore outer space to further the betterment of the people. Space exploration will not be for the rich to take advantage of at the expense of the workers, but a frontier that we the people will all share.”

The nation is also abuzz with the recent meteor crisis across the sea in Rivendellfolk. Vice-President Gael Merestrem is now taking lead on the burgeoning space program as the president is oversees helping Rivendllfolk with the recent crisis.

In a formal letter to the President of Tocan Isle:
Celestial Wave welcomes your advance into the stars, and hopes to have many joint space projects in the future. As for the meteor crisis in Rivendellfolk, a suitable and well functioning space program is necessary to solve this crisis and those of a similar nature.

It is the mission of the SolarFlare Climate Treaty to protect the environment across the region and stop climate change. This telegram is a reminder to keep working toward the goals laid out in the treaty. By September and January respectively, it’s required that all your nations meet the following goals:

- By September 1, 2021, signatories should spend at least 700.00 of their nation's currency on the environment as measured by the Eco-Friendliness WA Census statistic. This is done by answering issues having to do with the environment in an eco-friendly manner.
- By January 1, 2022, Signatory nations' energy should be made up of at least 60% renewable energy

Good luck, and if you want to opt out of the treaty, or you have any questions, please contact the Tocan isle Department of the environment or Celestial wave.
