Concerned, that the AC has been absorbed by Enadia, an ex-member of the AoR,
Noting, that there has been a democratic general election in Thaecia, proving a democratic system
Noting, the regular arguments in the discord server about the lack of Thaecian Democracy being set in law,
Congress hereby agrees,
Section I: Thaecia will denounce any and all allegations of being an authoritarian system and will send election results to any who accuse the state of being undemocratic,
Section II A: The Thaecian Government will undergo a democratic checking act, to make sure that the votes were real and not rigged
Section II B: The checking act will be done by the Electoral Commissioner on the day that they count the results for peak efficiency
Section I, Definitions: "Democracy" as a system of government selected by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.
Section II: The Republic of Thaecia will announce itself to be the legal successor of Thaecian Democracy
Section III A: The Republic of Thaecia will notify Southfield, Enadia and the Assembly of Regions that they have declared themselves as the successor of Thaecian Democracy
Section III B: If the government is inable to make itself the successor of Thaecian Democracy, a snap election will be called to revive the democracy
Section IV: Thaecia will notify the regions that we have embassies with (excluding the Embassy and similar regions) that we are the successor of Thaecian Democracy

Who gives a heck what Enadia or the AoR thinks of Thaecia? I know this is not the intention, but things like this only serve to give them legitimacy and relevancy at our cost. Flash news, as a large, developed region, you will always have trolls that run after you. You don’t appease them by taking every claim and point they make about you to heart. If you want to pass a bill about democracy, by all means go ahead, Enadia should not be your motivation for doing so, though, and they should certainly not be sponsoring a bill in our legislature.
