[CONTEXT FOR A LAND CLAIM. WILL POST LATER]

It has been months since the Republic of Trev have collapsed into outright anarchy and disputes. The Mexican Protectorate, a faction in El Haluf that had once been the main opposers of the Dominion but is now it most staunch advocates, wanted to capture the lands that it once owned, back from its former independent era. The northern regions, despite its lack of resources and hostile environment, had always been vital to Mexico in terms of geopolitics as the Sonoran Desert acts as buffer between the old Mexican Republic and the Republic of Trev, and Baja California is an important natural barrier to impede ships from invading the Western coasts of Mexico.

The Mexican Military Parade

In a military parade held in Mexico city's Victory Plaza, thousands of Dominion Guards, dressed with their Olive Green uniforms, marched as horn and string instruments blasted triumphant music, while the viceroy waved to the crowd. Everyone cheered and laughed, for they know what is about to happen, yet they only need to wait for the speech of the Viceroy to confirm it. In the final phases of the Military Parade marched the Los Diablos Vaqueros. "The Devil's Cowboys", elite horsemen specializing in raiding, pillaging, and commencing guerilla warfare in the desert terrain. With their brown vests and revolvers on their hips, they look like soldiers of an era long past, where brutality is required. But in this era, brutality is what is demanded, the Devils are once more called to action.

With the blast of a blank shell from 50 artillery pieces, the crowd went silent and Miguel Salazar, Viceroy of the Mexican Protectorate, walked to the podium and delivered his speech. He started by thanking everyone who came as audiences, the citizens as well as foreign and domestic dignitaries and Representatives. He then congratulated the acquisition of the La Casa Nobela as the new head of state. He then started with the main body.

Before El Haluf arrived and liberated us from our former republic, Mexico was but an ailing country. Our people walked the streets like Sombras not knowing. The sun shine hot in our tropical country, yet the people were cold and miserable for unemployment was rife. I am sure you all remembered that time, Sí?

The crowd nodded in approval.

Nobody wanted to be conquered by El Haluf. We fought tenaciously for the freedom we thought we had. We were tricked into thinking that the Dominion are the monsters; the boogeymen that would burn our towns, murder the boys, and rape our wives and daughters. Many lives were lost, and weapons of untold cruelty were unleashed into us.

A tear trickled to Miguel's cheek

I was a soldier in that war. When El Haluf won and I came back to my home, I learned that my wife was killed after she refused to give money for the war effort. The truth is, we don't own anything! We were but humble Vaqueros, living the lives of ranchers, yet our government, who have not given us decent jobs and services for us, kills it's people we did not give the thing they demanded yet we don't own!

The people starts cheering. They are already being riled by the rhetoric espoused by Miguel. Memories of brutality committed by both sides lingered, but El Haluf's propaganda ministry have done wonders to antagonize the former Mexican Government.

Today, El Haluf has given us the promise of a bright future! Food is being put on tables, water is being fed to showers, and the Dominions Guards and Navy keeps us safe. I pray to Consuela, my wife, that if she had only lived long enough, she would have been happy, I know it. People like her, and those that which we used to be, are present in Sonoran and Chihuahua. We must bring the light of El Haluf to our brothers and sisters. After all, they too are Mexicans, and Mexicans they shall become once more!

The crowd errupted in a torrent of passionate screams and patriotic frenzy as Rocinante airships released their biplanes, playing triumphant trumpets from their megaphones. With Miguel Salazar's speech, Mexico was imbued with the zeal of inquisitors of days past, and El Haluf's destiny has been set.

Serbia invades Balkan Nations!

After the establishment of the Y.R.O.S,Serbia immediately wanted to expand and they decided to go north then south.The Prime Minister,Aleksandar Obrenović,called for an invasion of Bosnia,Croatia and Slovenia before they move on to Albania and Macedonia.They started to invade Bosnia and declared war on Croatia and Slovenia.

Bosnia fell near a few weeks after the Serbian invasion.Croatia had sent troops to Bosnia to help with Serbian advancement from the Montenegran and Serbian borders.Croatia was able to push back the Serba at the Battle of Banja Luka.Serbia did push back even harder though leaving the city in ruins due to fighting.

They then Pushed into Croatia at two different sides one at Split and the other at Osijek.These were the most important battles in the Balkan War as those were the strongest defenses from outside invasions,but Serbia broke through and steam rolled through Croatia and Slovenia surrendered immediately after what happened to Croatia and Bosnia.

Then Serbia went south to conquer Albania and Macedonia.Macedonia took some time to conquer after multiple battles were lost by the Serbs,but after the Battle of Skopje,Macedonia fell.Then Albania tried to hold the line by blockading the Adriatic from Serbia but Serbs and Montenegrans pushed through their defenses and defeated Albania.They all surrendered and at the Treaty of Sarajevo,they all joined Serbia.

Also Serbia invaded parts if Italy for more access to the Adriatic Sea so they could have better trade with nations.

A Slovenian independance movement run by a former Slovenian army general protests violently to being under Serbian control, calling the Slovenian government wimps which do not represent them saying that "no true Slovenian would surrender like that! Our government does not speak for us, if you do not free us from your cold, prying hands, we promise you a bloody civil war." As it was only recently surrendered into Serbian control, the military general still has control over the weapons and distributed rifles to the people. Currently, Slovenians try and prevent Serbian officials from entering Slovenia. What will Serbia do about this?

In the reconstructed city of Kiev, there seems to be a community of delinquents who keep on posting up posters that promote anti-Lenninist and anti-socialist propaganda. After investigating one of the said delinquents, it seems they are armed with minor weapons, like pistols and knifes. Nothing explosive or that can cause a large-scale attack, but they still pose a threat. What will the Ukrainian SSR do about this threat?

Emanuel kviring requested to have soviet police reinforcements come to Kiev. the police ,although brutal in their attempts, have arrested several suspected members who await trial while also taking down any anti-soviet posters and imagery. the Ministry of Justice has decided that little mercy will be shown to the delinquents. Prison also know as Main Directorate of Camps or Gulag for short has become a very common punishment for those crimes. Emanuel Kviring has also put more guards to protect armories and the nearby areas. The State Political Directorate also has sent spies to try and join the group resulting in many raids and anti-gang campaigns.

A group of orphaned children played along the outskirts of the city of Parral, located between the borders of El Haluf and the former region of Chihuahua that had been conquered and eventually lost by the Republic of Trev that had collapsed months before. A rubber ball, worn out and probably in need to be replaced, was kicked back and forth by the group. Scores were no longer tallied, and overall the children were having fun for the first time in months, as they lost their parents during the Trevian Riots, and citizens began looting and pillaging their own cities they call home as the government of Trev collapses.

As the tallest kid in the group had his turn of kicking the ball, he was interrupted with a sight: a dust cloud loomed over the sunny high noon of June 4, 1921 and it was heading to their direction. They told each other to run for shelter when they realized that, as it got closer, hooves of horses thundered over the quiet scenery, and their gallops schooled the earth. It was a roaming band of bandits coming to plunder their already ruined city! The children can only pray as the gallops got louder.

El Haluf Liberates Chihuahua!

A company of the elite Los Diablos Vaqueros cavalry unit were sent ahead of the 30,000 Dominion Guard to act as an advance guard as well as scout the area for possible threats. They arrived in the first city, Parral, situated between El Haluf and Chihuahua. They rode their brown stress swiftly, leaving behind a column of dust wherever the hooves land in the ground.

When they arrived in the first few buildings of the outskirts of the city, no doubt, they detected a band of children fleeing from their presence. They made no chase; they have already been casualties of war despite acting a survivor, for it is their childhood that was killed from them. They passed their quite obvious hiding holes, afraid to even peek for a moment. The roughriders tredged onward.

The captain sent a carrier pigeon to relay the information that the city is safe and the forces can advance with no opposition. He then communicated with the haggard people around him, who is apprehensive whenever they look at the Dominion's Banners the unit carries with them. They have grown weary of being trampled by foreign nations.

But with the arrival of the army group came Miguel Salazar, Viceroy of Mexico himself, carrying with him the 20,000 strong contingent of Dominion Guards with him, as well as a convoy of cargo trucks carrying valuable relief goods for the desperate people. A line was formed to give as much goods to the impoverished as possible, but there just wasn't enough for everyone. When it was announced that the supplies were gone and the next arrival of shipments will come after two days, the people were furious but they still appreciate the offerings of El Haluf.

Miguel Salazar made a speech, reminding the people of the resilience and tenacity of the Mexican people, and that they should rise up from where they once were and join the Dominions. He promised safety, security, and at the very most, a family that would protect them. He promised that cities will be rebuilt, and Mexico itself become greater under his viceroyalty.

Parral was but the first city of many in Chihuahua that flocked to El Haluf's banners. In every ruined city Miguel went, he gave the same speech, gave the same supplies, and the people joined him Everytime. Soon enough, Chihuahua was tamed and plans for reconstruction will commence as soon as the La Casa Nobela approved it.

Why not not give visas to Indian blue collar workers and then use the memeovirus as a weapon against the rest of India? Officials are asked to find the Indian base. After days of searching, they find it at rajigopal street. the memeovirus is released inside the base while all entrances are guarded by soldiers ready to shoot. after 5 days , the memeovirus infected all of the indian spies inside the base while the spies outside the base were shot by the soldiers. It was a amazing effort by the soldiers who were given medals of recognition.

Italy, the Second Roman Republic's history.

Italy started as the boot-shaped peninsula called the Apennine peninsula, where the first signs of Italian civilizations had formed. However, previously Italy had been one of the biggest world powers, as everybody knows as the Great Roman Empire, the dominator of the Mediterranean sea. One of the largest people in European culture nowadays, but it did fall. This giant empire is the largest player in Italian history to this day.

Though, for a while now, Italia has been held under the evil grip of the Spanish. They took away civil rights from the Italians, and used the Apennine peninsula for colonization. But efforts of nations such Malacca-Singapore, the USSR, El Haluf, the previous Asauroaust Kingdom, Ireland, and the Grand Duchy of Canada, the Spanish lost all it's territory in Apennine peninsula. Italy had regained some of it's territory, under the name of the Second Roman Republic, but it was to gain more.

Italy would request for it's territories back, and the puppeted regions to go into the hands of the great Italia, the USSR had responded positively, allowing Italy to take USSR's puppet state, but Malacca-Singapore had responded negatively, saying that Sicily will remain under their control. Italy responds poorly to this, considering Malacca-Singapore selfish, however, Italy keeps a rather positive relationship with the USSR as a result. Italy does not nessecarily agree to communism, but doesn't nessecarily hate it.

The first elections of Italia had begun, resulting in Benito Mussolini losing to Antonio Armando (fictional leader, not based on a real person. If you recognise this name, it's a coincidence. My fictional leader has no relations to any real person.), a very pro-democratic leader who wishes for great economic growth and the happiness of the Italian people. The way he won the election is through promotion of pro-economic growth policies which swayed the public due to damaged economy. He was also blasting the fascist ideology, calling it a "sick mans way of running a country."

The Second Roman Republic, Italia, has officially been recognised as a real country and will act as one from now on.

Canada Hands Itself Over

As natural as it is for nations to rise and fall, it was very unnatural to see such a nation as the Dominion of Canada fall. The nation, however, faced rather large internal problems. From helping in the Spanish War to rapid expansion, Canada had run its treasury dry. This resulted in the fall of the nation. While they were now gone, the leader of Canada had sent one final letter to Natalie Tennant, handing over all of Canada's territory to the Republic.

Greece Invades Cyprus

Its Sunday, Steve Karnezis is in his leather chair, smoking his daily pipe and morning coffee. As he finishes his coffee, he gets up to refill his cup.
As he gets up, his maid opens the door and announces that General Papacharitos is here to speak to him.
Steve Karnezis quickly puts on his bowtie and tells him to come in.

The General walks in and announces he has some bad news. Cyprus has been overthrown by a Anarchist Revolution and has killed the Greek Diplomat. He posses PM Karnezis the following Dilemma: Either invade Cyprus and expand territory as revenge. Or leave them be.

Steve Karnezis stalled as he puffed on his pipe, as the General lit a cigarette.
After 3 minutes of awkward silence, the Prime Minister announced he would send 27000 men and 100 Battleships to Cyprus.

The Cyprians were invaded the next day. Shocked by this reaction, without a government nor an official army the 27000 men were able to run over the only 280 resistance fighters in minutes, while only suffering 3 casualties.

Cyprus has now been declared a new Greek county

Indeed - he had sought out a campaign of his own to steal the riches to finance his own ragtag group of armies. An army was useless when it had no funds - especially when it is controlled by a warlord and not a politician, let alone no government. Whatever attempts to keep the people on his side were now gone, and he had ruled with an iron first ever since the collapse. Mexico was his playing ground, and El Haluf had found its way into the sandbox.

He was a fraudulent man himself - nothing short of someone who loved to live within the finest luxuries. One could imagine that if he had lost the undeclared war against El Haluf, then he’d probably escape to Germany, or the JB territories. Somewhere where they’d pass a blind eye, and let him live out the rest of his life with plundered Mexican riches. His men were paid good too, they could steal whatever they want from the land excluding gold. Even at that - officers were commonly rewarded with golden bracelets for their looting sprees.

But with El Haluf now on his doorstep, he commanded that his armies step up to the plate. Over sixty thousand men, a rag tag militia with little unification backed with modern weapons from the looted Trevian arsenals bore down on Chihuahua. Under the cover of darkness, they began an artillery bombardment of the city, in an effort to route their enemy. Whether or not El Haluf’s militaristic dedication to the homeland can outcome the superior Trevian numbers has yet to be determined, but a decisive victory is demanded here. Rumors have it that the last of Vincent’s reserves have been put into this attack.

One of the Cyprus resistance fighters, who was arrested instead of being killed in the gunfight, had been imprisoned in a prison on Cyprus. When, suddenly, one of the warden's notify you that they are missing, and that the cell they were in had an unscrewed bar window that was on the back wall of the room. The window was big enough for a human to squeeze through and a fall not too high from grass. Of course, this is poor prison design, but the thing to focus on is that there is now a rogue resistance fighter in which the only thing keeping him from total freedom was the shackles around his arms. What will Greece do about this?

Thunder woke the denizens of the citizens of Parral, heating up the cool desert dawn with the exhaust and fumes of artillery. High-explosive shells damaged the already ruined buildings, streets, and avenues of the city as the torrent of explosions wrecked every possible shelter except the underground transit lines. Citizens frantically searched for shelter, though most of them will not be fortunate enough to find one. Needless to say, the carnage was immense, and the Halufian forces were forced to retreat from the pulverized city.

THE BATTLE FOR CHIHUAHUA!

Not long after the Halufian Forces retreated from their holdings in Parral, a force of Mexican militia regained control of their captured city, and they tried repairing what little reconstructible terrain they could find to prepare against the inevitable Halufian counteroffensive.

Miguel Salazar, Vicemarshall of the Mexican Protectorate and acting supreme Commander of the invading Halufian Forces was stunned to see the capacity that his enemy was able to mount a combined arms offensive with multiple men. Fortunately, he and his retinue was able to withdraw from the battle, and Halufian discipline made sure that their retreat too was in order. Miguel opted to abandon the city quickly, rather than hold it long enough just to be destroyed into rubble after holding it.

However, the loss of Parral ignited unto his soldiers the ferocity and bloodlust that has been given to them after countless of hours of propaganda films and patriotic posters have given them. For the troops of the Dominion Guards, whatever army that just conquered Parral are an enemy of the Dominion, and no amount of repentant deeds may ever absolve them from the blood they spilled from their own brothers and sisters; for Miguel, all of this was but a treat, for overnight he was essentially given 20,000 berserkers and zealots. Catalyzing on their fury, he released Vicemarshall Edict # 362, known only as the infamous "Reconquista" Edict used whenever a territory was lost. In that Edict written by the late Chairman Lucero, a single sentence is only written:

"With this Edict, all forces under the command of the Supreme Commander must not falter in the face of the enemy, and destroy the latter by all means necessary."

Pre-battle arraignment and preparations

Post-battle investigations made by on-site statisticians, based on both military and civilian sources, implied that the forces outnumbered the invading Halufian forces in an unknown ratio, but judging by how each individual squads advanced into the battered city in an undisciplined and uncoordinated matter, the Protectorate is facing nothing but a militia, and the leader probably one of those warlords that assumed power after the destruction of the Republic of Trev.

Judging by the volume of artillery fire the enemy was able to dish out, and how their forces was equipped with modern small arms equipment and even tanks of Trevian models meant that this army, though highly untrained, are by no means underequipped. A tactical retreat was a viable strategy, further justified after Intelligence agents finally extracted information from kidnapped militiamen indicated their numbers, strategy, and their leaders: including the infamous General Moreno who have now set up his headquarters in a famous lofty hotel in downtown Parral.

There can be quarter given to the enemy now. With a flick of Miguel's hand, Operation Sundial is authorized.

EL HALUF STRIKES BACK

Three days after Moreno's attack on Parral, the remnant Trevian militia was camping out on the outskirts of Parral as the night set in. It was a clear, moonless night, so visibility is surely reduced, perfect for ennacting Operation Sundial, which relies on the neutralization of the artillery located on the other side of the city and enveloping the enemy around him. Though outnumbered almost 3 to 1, Halufian generals shall use all manners of psychological weapons they have at their disposal to break their enemy's fragile morale.

Phase One of the battle started almost the same as the militia army did, with the Dominion Guard opening up with an artillery barrage, which was met by the militia's own barrage. However, as the offensive is commenced at night, most shots were rendered inaccurate and it did not hit any vital targets. But this did draw out the Frontline force of the militia, leaving their artillery force isolated and vulnerable.

While the artillery exchange is happening, the 1,500 strong elite cavalry force of the Mexican Protectorate, the Los Diablos Vaqueros, was sent by Salazar to drive along the flank of the forces and, as their hooves are masked by the explosions beyond, stealthily strike the artillery units of the enemy. Equipped with sabres and revolvers like the romanticized warriors of the era long past, these cavalrymen strikes into the enemy so deep and unexpected that the militia was forced to go back and help their forces on the back. However, El Haluf have started Phase two: keep the militia separated. Their solution? Separate them with a wall of thick Mustard Gas that is guaranteed to not be easily blown by the wind, and would separate the Frontline forces and artillery of the enemy army. This was the time that Salazar commenced a general Frontline offensive towards the enemy. Massive machine gun fire from the tumbleweed tanks, supported by a Halufian force, frenzied and raged by fury against their enemy, charged towards their faltering enemy lines.

With the artillery units being butchered at the rear, and the Frontline forces faced with a dilemma of either drowning in toxic smog or be riddled with bullets, massive routes are beginning to appear all over the enemy lines until soon enough, the entire militia disintegrated and ran to the sand dunes of the night. The Vaqueros gave chase on the deserters. At dawn's light, Salazar was reported that a squad breached the hotel that Moreno was said to be holed up in and he was successfully captured, though he was injured after trying to retaliate. General Moreno will be given the most gruesome and extreme punishment in El Haluf, to be broadcasted all over the Dominions. Vicemarshall Miguel Salazar, at the cost of thousands of civilians and many more of their enemy lies, secured a victory so momentous that it would deter any warlords to object the will of El Haluf in securing the rest of Mexico, and even possibly make them join the Dominion through total submission. In recognition for the deliverance of this victory, Miguel was given the title "Honorary Guard of El Haluf" and "Protector of the Dominion", a title only given to Chairman Lucero, until now.

Fate of Egypt

With the recent integration of Northern Egypt a new “boom” is on the horizon for Mashriq. Northern Egypt contains the most modern industry complex in Africa at this time and that industry will help the rest of the nation further its path into full modernization. However, first thing first these industries need to be put back into working order. To the disdain of the rest of the nation much of the Mashriq government's attention has now gone into this small region especially the economy. Thousands of dollars worth of government support has been started to funnel into Egypt focusing mainly on the industry of the region, with even some industrial sectors being taken into full control of the government to produce the required material they want. This process will only take a short amount of time, but will likely put a strain on the national economy until it is uplifted by the products produced. It will likely take about another month until then, which doesn't seem like a lot of time to most to the people in need with government funds going into propping up things like industry in forgein land this time can be seen as life or death.
Another thing that Egypt has gifted to Mashriq is the famous Suez Canal. The Suez since it’s finish has controlled the trade for the Eastern Hemisphere seeing nearly 8 billion dollars worth of trade going through it annually and now its in the hands of Mashriq. Almost immediately the canal is placed under national control, seeing it has an important route for the world it has to be taken care of and such care can’t be risked on a private organization. Following such a simple tax has been placed on the Canal’s use, the tax is lifted from partner nations and fellow Islamic in the name of brotherhood; however, other nations such as ones from Europe and Asia will have to pay this new tax in order to maintain this route of trade for world use. Ships and nations that fail to pay the tax will be told to return to their home ports and not be allowed to pass through this crucial route.
The final thing to come from Egypt is the finalization of the promise made to them from last month. The rest of Northern Egypt is allowed to be brought into the fold of Mashriq; however, unlike the previous region of Northern Egypt taken in this new one holds little impotence to the strength of Mashriq, it is though an important step in securing the area and maintaining the promises created with the fellow Arab nation.

Mecca and Arabia

This month a great deed is finished, the last bit of integration of Hejaz and including the Holy City of Mecca. Arriving from Damascus to Medina the Sharif of Mashriq had arrived to finalize the welcoming the Hejaz into the nation. A quick trip from Medina to Mecca follows, on arriving at a prayer session between the Sharif of Mashriq and the leaders of Hejaz. Once finished the deal was finalized and hands were shaken. Immdentinally after a new law was pressed into the Mashriq, no tax will be extracted from Mecca or Medina for the use of Mashriq regions outside of the Hejaz. These were one of the few requirements made between Mashriq and the Hejaz people. Mashriq has claimed the title of Protectors of Islam; holding the holy cities of Jeruslum, Medina, and Mecca along with other holy sites of Islam. We will now come to the aid of any Islamic nations in need.
With the sudden collapse of the Asauroaust Kingdom many Arab kingdoms have popped back up into existence, these nations have started to turns towards Mashriq being the largest Arab nation, the leader of Islam after being oppressed by the Orthodox faith, and the largest nation in the general area that could provide support. With the new title Mashriq is almost pressed to assist these new nations; however, more needed things are required first in order to reach them. The nations of Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar have always been forced to rely on outside nations to help prop them up and with Kuwait losing it’s support from the British along with Bahrain and Qatar losing the leg of Asauroaust. Once again diplomacy is the course that is being taken for them. They are fellow Islamic Arabs in need of support and we will answer their call. Talks have started between the nations in order to reach a deal that will benefit all the nations. As talks take place the deal reaches closure to a finalized form. Finally, after a few days of discussions an agreement is reached with the region being able to maintain a form of autonomy with the resources gathered from the nations implied will receive a direct portion of the funds to help further bolster their own lives. These nations gain a sense of security while Mashriq gains a further stretch of supplies and loyal musliums to cement the holy states call.

Jihad and Rally Cries

Word of further Spanish expansion into the Arabian world has reached the ears of Mashriq, mainly through the lips of refugees fleeing the conflict. Normally the Mashriq would turn a blind eye to this; however, they have a new responsibility now to protect the Arbaian and Islamic people and current growth in the nation is giving the government a new sense of power. Yet two main factions of the Sharifs advisor are whispering into his ears about what needs to be done. One argues for direct involvement into supporting the expulsion of the European forces from Northern Africa while others seek to appease the European powers encroaching closer to their own homeland. Neither of which are a good thing to go after, a Jihad at this state will not be an easy thing to accomplish and seeking to appease them? Nay unthinkable… But soon something will happen and will happen quickly as the Sharif calls for the military to be mobilized to an active stance and prepare for further orders. Meanwhile a small detachment of volunteers are recruited mainly from Algerian refugees that have been fleeing. A total of 2,000 were gathered and without uniforms have begun the trek back to Algeria to assist in fighting against the evil imperialist while a few uniformed officers were also sent with only the orders to watch and examine the conflict at hand and under no reason minus the threat of their own lives to take action in it.
