So Animal Rescue rant #2 of the day.

What drives someone to dump an animal? A pet is more of a friend/family member then some object. I can't see how people can just toss it out on the side of the road. I can understand dropping it off on the doorstep of a rescue or something like that but if you've no compassion for a friend/family member then why should we allow you to adopt another one? Many questions are had.
