I must of misunderstood your previous post. Anyhow, Russia might of helped President Trump indirectly. Currently, I believe that Trump did not colluded with Russia to win the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election. If he did, the FBI or NSA would of warn about this sort of collusion, but then again both of the agencies are somewhat incompetent.

Confederate soldiers and leaders do not deserve statues or special treatment from the United States of America. Gazoo, I believed you have said that the Republican Party is the party of Abraham Lincoln. Don't you think he would of being disappointed for seeing many Confederate monuments across the old South. He oppose slavery, so why would he support these Confederate statues.
Stop trying to destroying history because you don't like it, like it or not those men earned it in their day when we had different views and standards, learn from it and let it serve as reminder of how far we've come, you can't change the past, if you try to erase it you'll find yourself repeating it.

I don’t believe in removing confederate monuments. They were Americans, loyal to their states more than their nation, just as the northerners were back then. America wasn’t really a nation until after the civil war. We are a federation of states, and people forget that. Not to mention some of those generals were some of the best in American history.
And in all honesty, to remove reference anyone who committed atrocities from our history would remove our entire history. From the genocide of the native Americans to the enslavement if blacks, to the exploitation of any man or woman to turn a profit. We are a nation founded on atrocity and that’s just the way it is.
What needs taught is history’s faults, not a coverup of it.

I think that they should do something like what former communist states did after the fall of the USSR where they moved the statues into one area and gave each statue a plaque taking about the person addressing both the bad and the good.
Former Vice-President and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has also defended keeping monuments to presidents past, but said those memorialising Confederate leaders should be taken down.
