It was another bad day for the President in the Hatzburg Parliament as the workers’ party delivered another well-received speech from the opposition side.
Heisener was accused of “failing the people” and being more interested in “shaking hands rather than investing in his own nation” in a speech that made front page news in all three major newspapers.

Fiddlers Greene to be used for joint-Vienna Pact air and naval operations.
The headquarters of Strategic Command and Military Technology (SCMT), popularly known as Fiddlers Greene, will also be used as a joint-Vienna Pact air and naval base. The decision comes after the perceived ulterior motives of other organizations and nations and with the Nationale Republik wanting to “better ensure lasting peace and security” not only for the NR and Vienna Pact nations, but for all of Declansburg.
As one of the most expansive military installations in the world Fiddlers Greene is more than capable of handling the increased operations. This would provide the Vienna Pact with unsurpassed access to the Aeolus Ocean and to the surrounding areas and all from a military installation able to carry out any needed responsibilities to assist in facilitating pact operations.

PRESIDENT ZELENSKA HANDS OUT NATIONAL MEDALS FOLLOWING DELAYS
At a government luncheon, President Zelenska awarded numerous awards of the state earlier today after delays caused by the government change. The awards included two Orders of the State, five Citizens Medals, eight National Medals of Arts, eleven National Humanities Medals, and twelve National Medals of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Innovation.
A single Order of the Gold Star was awarded posthumously to Sergeant Volodymyr Savenko, an Army military policeman who tackled a suicide bomber into a ditch and saved dozens of civilian lives during the Romanic Imperium wars. The award was accepted by his family.
Savenko's name will be engraved on the Wall of Heroes, alongside President Zelenska's and Vice President Nykolaichuk's names.

Piacenti troops force entry into Gavtopian border on escort mission alongside construction crews
Following the lack of a response to the continuing blockade of the entire eastern coast of 
Gavtopia by Piacenti Naval forces, High-Chief Drago has assigned armed forces to enter Gavtopia on what she’s described as “a nonaggressive directive to escort and protect state employed construction works.” As for those construction crews, their directive is “to build necessary transportation infrastructure for civilian access to Vaskora.”
While no Gavtopian official was available for comment, an anonymous Drago administration official has confirmed that the directive is another unilateral decision that was not seen as requiring Gavtopian approval. “As far as the land permits for this construction go, the High-Chief has decided we can print our own.”
It remains to be seen how long this project will take and if there will be a response to Piacentine’s further escalations of what Drago has described as her “proactive approach” towards connecting Piacentine to its southern colony.
One military anonymous official was a bit more skeptical that the situation could remain entirely peaceful “So far, the blockade has been apathetically tolerated by Gavtopians. The same attitude surprisingly was there when we moved troops in via their northeastern border. It remains to be seen if this passivity will continue now that armed Piacenti troops are enforcing construction of a railway, especially when we start laying tracks down around their Capitol.”
