I've found recently that I really wish they'd put the Dune books into one large volume/omnibus for me. Do the Jihad/Prequels in one and then do the Originals in another. It'd really make me happy, because I just can't find all my books.

also Chapters Canada carries the dune books as well. they normally give you a 3 week waiting list if they dont have them in store
I have been meaning to get Hunters, Sandworms, Paul & Winds of Dune. I've not picked up any of the newest ones, instead opting to go library with them or ebook, but more and more the novelty of ebook is wearing off and I miss flipping pages. I still think it'd be nice for them all to be bound in one big giant volume and name it "The Duniverse." Plus they could toss in those books like Hunting Harkonnen's and the Whipping Mek that I missed out on.

I haven't really read any of Brian Herbert's stuff. I hear it's not quite as good, but I doubt that'll stop me from picking it up in the future. Binding the novles in one giant book will make it too large. Plus, it's always nice to have all the album art. What I really want is a well acted, nicely filmed movie or miniseries. The ones they made thus far have been very sub par, and I think that with new filming tech they'd be able to pull it off really well.
Get Peter Jackson to direct it. He did a well enough job with The Lord of the Rings.
So how has everyone been?
Brian Herbert's stuff. is good Hunters of dune and Sandworms of dune were nicely written. But with that said he had a lot of help from his father's notes on those two.
