UAF Colony Hope
Account of the Orbital battle by 501st officer

We exited hyper space into they system dubbed Hope by UAF officials. What we saw in orbit was a graveyard of ships while the enemy was moving into low orbit positions. We had caught them off guard and had them out maneuvered it was a textbook victory and we all knew it. So when I look back on those opening hours of the battle in space why did we suffer so many casualties, I think back and know the answer we were fighting a enemy we knew nothing about. At first the battle went just how we thought it would we were ripping apart the ships with our bombers and turbo laser cannons and, then the enemy got in range they launched boarding parties. What I saw when they breached the haul still haunts me to this day and I count myself or anyone who made out of that battle in orbit alive as lucky. Then my thoughts turned planet ward and I dreaded the hell we might face down there and I wondered if this is what my brothers felt when they landed on Felucia.

Hope Colony

The first thing I remember about Hope was how quiet it was in the beginning hours of the plantside assault we heard nothing from fauna or any civilians in the city we had landed in. It wasn't till 00:30 that we caught sight of some civilians only to see them cut down but, that's not what haunts me. No it was when they got back up and tore apart matchstick with their bare hands. After that we engaged the enemy we weren't the only ones comms was making it sound like the whole city was bearing down on our unit we must of kill thousands of those things but it didn't stop them from getting back up or, stop my own brothers get back up and start shooting at me. *shuddering sigh* It'll be too soon before I see something like that and I thank my lucky stars for me and every brother who made out of hell alive. The smartest order general Rex ever did was our withdrawal from there and watch as our ships bombed that planet to near dust.

Synth Fleet
Deactivating Stasis Pods Synths awakening. Flashed on a screen before row after row of lights came on and row after row of stasis pods opened with a synth getting out of the pods. As the synths got out M.O.T.H.E.R sent them the information of their current neighbors and just like the A.I directing the ships the amount of war disturbed them greatly.
