"It has been more than half a year since the first summit held in our region of Reddit Malaysia. The summit marked the first time for the nations of the region to meet and discuss their differences instead of resorting to our traditional ways of diplomatic violence. Here we gather for the beginning of the second regionwide summit. Though it saddens me to announce the absence of the Doge of Butterburg due to ongoing conflicts in the nation. We will also be introducing 2 new participating nations that shall be attending this summit, The Republic Free of Nexon and The Democratic Republic of Liberte Divitus. Without further ado, I, Empress Maria of Zestijan-Andoa, hereby declare the beginning of the second Reddit Malaysia Regional Summit"

Thank you, Your Highness the Empress of Zestijan-Andoa. It is an honour to be here in Clonrea for the second regional summit of Reddit Malaysia. As has been said by Her Highness the Empress of Zestijan-Andoa, we have accepted two new nations into our ranks; namely, The Free Republic of Nexon and The Democratic Republic of Liberter Divitus. Their entrance signifies a new chapter in our region's history. I am very sure that we will all mutually benefit from the inclusion of these two nations in our region. It has been quite a journey, seeing our region grow from a very small one, consisting only of two nations, Pokken-Land and Lizard and the Shapeshifters, to having ten nations. It is my hope that with these two new nations participating, there will be more nations joining after them, further expanding our region.
So, now with the introduction of the two nations out of the way, I would like to invite the founder of our region, The United Kingdom of Lizard and the Shapeshifters to continue the summit. Thank you.
Thank you Mr President of Bredelin. I echo the sentiment of Her Royal Highness the Empress of Zestijan-Andoa and the President of Bredelin in welcoming The Free Republic of Nexon and The Democratic Republic of Liberter Divitus. The inclusion of these 2 nations is welcoming and would help make Reddit Malaysia a more vibrant region among the regions of nationstates. Other than that, I hope that today's summit would be a fruitful one and would help resolve the issues between the various members of Reddit Malaysia.

Thank you Lizard and the shapeshifters for giving a wonderful speech to kick off our summit. As we were given the honour of being the 1st World Assembly Delegate of Reddit Malaysia, I would like to make a few thank Zestijan-andoa for wholeheartedly agreeing to host the 2nd Reddit Malaysia Regional Summit.
The host has graciously prepared scrumptious meals as well as luxurious accommodation for the delegates that are here today, and for that our Pokken-Land delegates thank you for that.
To move along the agenda, this Regional Summit was called when New nexon wanted to invite regional delegates and world leaders to His Royal Highness's dinner party.
And for that reason, regional delegates agreed to call a Regional Summit to coincide with this event.
We from the Pokken-Land nation would like to call for a few pressing agendas with the inclusion of these two new nations to ensure regional peace in Reddit Malaysia
The Free Republic would like to thank all of you for welcoming my country and my good friend Liberter Divitus to the region. I sincerely hope that the agendas today will establish order and harmony in the region, and national sovereignty will be respected.
Yes, thank you New nexon. With that, let us get to the pressing agendas. The inclusion of two new nations into our region is of a monumental importance to improve the security as well as sovereignty of every nation in Reddit Malaysia.
Our 1st Regional Summit, the Regional Council agreed to 3 charters laid out in this Official Dispatch:

Weapons of Mass Destruction such as nuclear, radiological, chemical, biological or other weapon that can kill and bring significant harm to a large number of humans or cause great damage to human-made structures (e.g. buildings), natural structures (e.g. mountains), or the biosphere is allowed to be used defensively.

On Sea Borders & Exclusive Economic Zones
Proposed changes from Lizard and the shapeshifters to increase the Sea Border by 100km was rejected as it contravenes one of the World Assembly resolutions: page=WA_past_resolutions/council=1/start=167
On Human Rights
Slavery - Slavery was voted against with a majority of 4 against 2 and was subsequently outlawed. Butterburg was condemned by Reddit Malaysia Regional Council. Increased economic and political pressure will mount if slavery isn't stemmed in Butterburg soon.

LGBT Rights - No objections were found in this regard. Restriction on freedom based on LGBT status is non-existent in Reddit Malaysia.
AI Rights - Nations in Reddit Malaysia agreed to increase AI rights, though keeping it from running wild is one of the pressing concerns.
The new nations joining our region would need to ratify these charters to ensure our Regional Council continues to reign as the de-facto regional body in Reddit Malaysia.
To list them in order of our agenda:
- The ratification of new nations joining Reddit Malaysia to ratify our charters in the 1st Regional Council.
- The prevention of usage of biological weapons in Reddit Malaysia
- To further restrict the usage of inhumane weapons of war.
- To increase freedom of movement of citizens of Reddit Malaysia between nations or to abolish the need of travel visas between nations in Reddit Malaysia.
- To improve the livelihood of refugees that are fleeing from war torn countries outside of Reddit Malaysia.
Our country would like further clarification on the first charter. Does the first charter allow for the usage of Weapons of Mass Destruction in a counterattack against an enemy? - Eternal President Slender
Yes,you are allowed to retaliate against an attack by another nation using WMDs with your own WMDs.
Liberte Divitus will gladly ratify the charters mentioned previously and hopes to contribute anything we can into improving the region.
I wish to proceed to our next agenda which has to do with the use of biological weapons in war.Biological weapon are any of a number of disease-producing agents—such as bacteria, viruses, rickettsiae, fungi, toxins, or other biological agents—that may be utilized as weapons against humans, animals, or plants.Our nation would like to suggest a complete ban on any such weapons.We therefore ask for all nations in the region to cease production of such weapons and to destroy all stockpile of weapons.
The Nexonan government votes against this proposal.
Is there a reason for voting against this proposal?
We oppose on the ground of national sovereignty. Any country should be able to possess whatever WMD it wants.
Possession is not a problem here. Unilateral usage of it for aggressive purposes is.
If it can be used for counterattacks, then I will vote for it.
Biological weapon has no business being in a civilized society. Spreading diseases genetically engineered especially to kill humans is a threat to everyone. One wrong mistake and it can spread into a modern day epidemic. Zestijan-Andoa is for this proposal.
As has been said by Her Majesty the Empress of Zestijan-Andoa, many things can go wrong with biological weapons. Should an epidemic break, all of humanity, no, the whole ecosystem of Earth itself, is at risk. One can not imagine the scale of such a disaster. To prevent such a disaster from happening, Bredelin is for this proposal.
The the extent of the discussions above, we should call for a vote for the proposal of disallowing biological weapons in Reddit Malaysia.
Before that, both the two new nations must agree to the Regional Council charters. Do we get a yay or a nay?
