As the enemy launches projectiles at the front lines the infantry stays in trenches for defense. The bombardment lasts quite long with motorized equipment bearing the brunt of the rocket strikes. Once the bombardment ends the HUR decides to give them a taste of their own medicine by launching a variety of their own short-range missiles and rockets.

Major cities targeted successfully repel the Levantin with a variety of Anti-aircraft defenses and aircraft. Some smaller cities however do get hit with the damage varying. With the public outraged with this attack, the HUR launches their own medium and long range SCUD missiles at major Levantin industrial centers and oil fields.

The HUR awaits the coalition’s response.

It is an extremely hot desert. Sandy, strong waves from Suilia (the sun) and dry as well, no one would want to live in this sh¡thole. At the supposedly marked borders in the middle of the sandy and rocky desert, there are dozens of military units from both nations of the Holy Utopian Republic and San Sierra. With the help of the heat, General Saul Tejedor of the entire involving army lights up his cigarette pretty easily. Hearing the news of the Levantine terrorist leader Urabi denying the treaty and fully mobilizing on the borders as he can see physically, he blows the smoke, and starts to communicate in the radio.

 - "Attention all units, the country of HUR has moved to Defense Readiness Condition number two, war is imminent. I want all artillery units to fire on targeted coordinates, remember the targets. Once the soldiers of a beast's country are fvcked, prepare to push in." - 

After seconds of pause, one of the captains responds to the order.

 /\/\ Roger, initiating multiple rocket bombardment. /\/\

Half an hour later, SAM batteries are activated, ready to shred enemy aircraft. Various units of Multiple Rocket-Launching systems, especially from two spread divisions, are targeting Levantine mobilized forces and radar transmitters. Ground forces such as mechanized infantry and Main Battle Tanks are mobilized as well, awaiting for the artillery strike.

Then...

 - "Fuego" - 

General Saul Tejedor has ordered it.

Various MRLS units are firing a violent barrage of artillery missiles towards the targeted areas: Armored tanks sent by the Levantine army, military camps, nearby airbases and hangars and most importantly, enemy SAM batteries and nearby radar transmitters. SAM batteries like mentioned earlier are ready to fire on any enemy aircraft, including jets and helicopters, as the ground forces wait for the artillery barrage to end.
