Foxomexran Government Condemns Execution of Former Neferheimian Monarch

Although the government has Foxomexra has not had any diplomatic relations with Ateenia for quite some time now, and maintains a total embargo towards the country, President Wilson Harrison and numerous representatives in the Federal Congress have nonetheless seen fit to denounce the action of the Ateenian government. They propose to the nations of the world to follow their, and New sebronia's, footsteps and enact sanctions of some form on the brutal regime.

Neuew and Guurissi monarchs find common ground
Today, after the barbaric killing of a fellow monarch by the horrific Ateenians, the Neuew and Guurissi rulers have come together to send a message to Ateenia, with both Neuewland and the secessionist guurissi state embargoing Ateenia indefinitely, joining New Sebronia in their cutting of ties. Both monarchs call for the other nobles of the world to join in their cutting of ties with the disgusting nation of Ateenia.

Operatio Eclipsin Solarem - Operation Solar Eclipse

Late in the evening, a helicopter touched down in the dark, dusty city of Awen. In the sprawling city, darkness is but a hindrance to business, the noise of the occasional car or two not necessarily concealing the helicopter's landing. As such, the small task force of 7 men had to land further away from their target than they would have liked, and walk the rest of the way. Thus, they dismounted, clad in full black body armor, with various dark velvet lines and bands as an accessory color to denote their unit. They traveled through the back streets and dark alleys, avoiding civilians. On their persons were... weapons. Weapons of foreign design. Red assault rifle-looking guns, as well as beige ones of a different design. All of them had suppressors on their muzzles, fit for nighttime operations. As midnight approached, the task force meandered towards the capitol building within the city. As they approached, they became more cautious, expecting security to investigate the alleys and rooftops where they watched and waited for an opening. At last, they found one. The back gate, a dark, poorly guarded part of the capitol grounds. The task force slipped past some guards along the way, albeit with quite a few close encounters, and breached the perimeter of the building. Now, they were acting on a time limit. It would only be a few minutes before the security detachment here noticed the breach in the gate, and thus they needed to act fast. The 7 operatives swept the building under cover of darkness, slipping cautiously past the inexperienced guards of the interior, and towards the President's room. At 11:54 PM, two of the operatives reached the room where President Shabaka was sleeping.

Within five minutes, the man would be dead. Eight bullets had been fired from a sub-machine gun into his chest as he slept.

Despite the suppressors on the PRI V3 task force's weapons, they were going to need to escape quick if they didn't want to be caught. As such, after the deed was done, the killers radio'd to the rest of the team.
"Sol est mortus."
This was their signal to get out. The team rushed back out, downstairs and towards the gate. Their luck with the guards, however, had came to an end, as they were caught on the field just outside the building, en route to the exit gate. Soon, they found themselves under attack by the security detachment as half the group fought a rear guard action to get the killers of Shabaka back to the helicopter. After fifteen minutes of open fighting and a hasty retreat, only three of the original seven squad members made it out. The rest either took their own lives to preserve their secrecy or were killed as they fought to protect the retreat. As the chopper flew away, the remaining men could only regret their actions; the money meant little to them now, after losing over half their squad. When they returned to Hebenu territory and reported the death of the President, though, their superiors were elated. Such a dangerous mission was a success! The money was as good as theirs; they just needed the Hebenu to hand over the sum in question in the morning...

Vescarium to Sever Ties with Ateenia, Exit NADA

Due to recent events, Vescarium has announced it will no longer remain in the North Anterian Defensive Alliance. It's reasoning is primarily economic, as sanctions from foreign states opposed to NADA have been one of the main causes of the recent August Panic. However, there is a political element, too, as Vescarian politicians have come out to declare the Ateenian government "morally repugnant" and "in opposition to Vescarian ideals" after the 'hunt' of a former foreign monarch. In addition, the Ateenian overseer of the Radiological Bomb project has been taken into custody by the Publica Ratio Intelligenti, and the radiological bomb he was supposed to oversee the detonation of is now officially in Vescarian hands for dissection and analysis.

Torvon joins the cutting of ties to Ateenia and denounces the actions seen

After the barbaric *Hunt* seen broadcasted around the world today. King Arslan called together the Minsters of Parliament for an emergency meeting. In a unanimous vote, along with King Arslan signing it immediately in to law. Placing Embargoes, Sanctions and cutting all ties with the *Free* Kingdom of Ateenia.

The King was quoted as saying,” Whether he was a Monarch, President or other official, is another matter entirely, what’s sickening in this. Is that the Government of Ateenia setup this *Hunt* and broadcasted it. Even if he was a Terrorist he should’ve been tried before a court and held accountable for the misdeeds and actions that he took and caused. Today I stand with all the Elected Minsters of our great Monarchy. I condemn the actions that we have seen, today and hope that a change for the better is to be seen.”

After the shocking events by Democratic forces in Khemmi and the barbaric execution of the former Monarch of Neferheim, Dysaphora has announced that its diplomatic exercises undertaken to join the IGP are being slowed down. "We are concerned that the IGP is beginning to stray from its cause. The IGP must prove to our nation and to the world that it honours the great values it was founded upon" stated Jemelius Scolemaion in a speech on the matter today.

With increasing world tension, Dysaphora has also given the go-ahead for an expansion to its modern, yet small navy. This will include the construction of two Headline class patrol aircraft carriers, as well as a battlecruiser called Song Of My People, affectionately named after it's generous missile battery.

Iskamiya is the most recent nation amongst the IGP membership to come about denouncing the act of terrorism and barbary that has been committed by the Ateenian government. The Sultan has come forth, decrying the leaders of Ateenia, saying "Proper trials and fair judgement thereof are the pillars on which a man, and his nation stand. A nation led by a sheep of a man that does not see the value in human life, nor the value in fair trial deserves not to call himself a man, nor any living being. Intervention in Whamt

With recent investments and foodstuffs going to Whamt, the Sultan had thought his good deed of helping the citizens of another nation had passed. Unfortunately, as is with so many struggling states, this offer of goodwill to the people was sundered and squandered by in fighting and corruption. To protect not only the investments shown to Whamt but in the thought of peace and saving the lives of those beign senselessly slaughtered in Whamt, the Sultan has ordered direct military contact. An ultimatum has already been sent to Whamt but the Sultan remains adamant that no matter the response from Whamt, he will bring peace to the tiny nation.

Bakyern denies any involvement.

With the recent death of President Shabaka in Khemmi, blame has been put on Bakyern. The Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs was quick to dismiss all statements, stating that this wasn't the work of Bakyern nor any agency with Bak ties. The press released the interview, but rumors are still popping up if whether Bakyern's intelligence agency, the FIA, was secretly in this.

Defense Budget expanded in vote.

With Bakyern intervening in Azureden and Khemmi, support for expansion on the defense budget has soared through Bakyern. The Bundeskongress met today to discuss expansion, in a vote, 312 voted for aye and 89 voted against. The remaining Congressmen and Congresswomen abstained. The budget has been raised to BN$81 Billion

Outskirts of Shednu, August 4th.

Nabaw Wabana held his Ankh tight in his hands, a gift from the Pharaoh himself. He was shivering uncontrollably, despite the scorching sun overhead, as bullets whizzed past his foxhole. He waited for the inevitable order to come as he heard the screams of the approaching democratic enemies getting closer.

After what felt like an hour but was likely only a minute of waiting, he heard the whistle. He mustered every remaining ounce of courage in his increasingly frail body and climbed out of the shallow hole to join his comrades in the charge.

“RAAAAAAAAAAA!”

Nawab’s gun had run out of ammunition the day before, and as such he was left with his khopesh once more. Fellow Khemmic men from the ages of thirteen to fifty shouted the warcry as loud as their lungs could muster, as if they were pleading to the god himself to spare them. Amun-Ra didn’t listen. His comrades dropped like flies, each man with lives behind them and futures ahead of them, left to rot in the sand with innumerable others.

Of course, this was the last thing on Nabaw’s mind as MG fire narrowly missed making him their next victim time and time again. A creeping barrage of artillery was the only cover they got, but for many it wasn’t enough. Within minutes, hundreds fell lifeless to the ground, lost to the world.

Just when Nabaw could just about see the whites of his foe’s eyes, they shouted an order and turned tail. Finally, after nearly a dozen failed attempts, they were giving up the position.

He heard his unbelievably lucky God King yell an order to his men.

“Chase the cowards! Chase them back to Awen! Back to Shashotep! Charge!”

Nawab kept up his momentum, jumping over the deep trench and on top of a man twice his age climbing out. The poor man appeared to have lost an eye already, but he gave him no mercy. He looked to his side and saw Semerkhet removing his own sword from a child no older than 14 that seemed to have been manning the MG.

Suddenly, the men began to shout in horror. The retreating enemy had turned around, with reinforcements in numbers. Somehow, however, the Pharaoh seemed unfazed. He barked another order to his would-be hopeless men.

“So they want a fight? Let’s teach the pigdogs a lesson! Hold this line, give no ground! Tomorrow we march on Awen!”

The hastily formed front line used up most remaining ammunition slaughtering the charging fools, but inevitably they began to jump into the trench. Nawab and his comrades pulled out their Khopeshes, as they had done more times than they could remember. As the chaos of battle surrounded him, Nawab spotted Semerkhet leaping out of his trench and onto the enemy officer watching the scene. His attention was quickly turned to the child valiantly charging him with a bayonet, whom he swiftly put down.

After almost twenty minutes of tiring hand to hand combat, the democratic forces finally began crawling desperately back out of the trench to retreat once more. The Pharaoh cut down the fleeing enemy, his golden khopesh in one hand and the torn out heart of the officer he killed in the other. The sheer sight of this only destroyed their morale further, and many raised their hands in surrender. Finally, Semerkhet turned around to face his awestruck men, bathed in blood yet wearing a triumphant grin on his face. He simultaneously terrified Nabaw and inspired him. The soldiers raised their khopeshes into the air and chanted his salute.

“Anukh brak! Anukh brak!”

Nasikav Probes Launch!
Earlier today, the three Nasikav Probes were finally launched from Point Narik using Kiyortzani Kislau Rockets, after delays in the past week caused by unfavorable weather. As of currently, the probes are on course headed for Bieruta, Stratos, and Aurious respectively. Additionally, the reusable rocket booster was successfully landed on the remotely controlled droneship off the coast of Timinse-Astariya across the Astari Sea.

Officials Condemn Actions of Ateenia.
Given the recent atrocities dealt against the ex-Neferheimer king by the nation of Ateenia, the Kiyortzani parliament has voted to cut ties and put heavy economic sactions on Ateenia.

Wicht Demonstrations continue.

After the bombing of a Republican FOB in Khemmi, the demonstrators have continued more fiercely for another day as riot police continue to try and quarantine the protests to a small city block. The Federal President has released a statement, stating that the government will not negotiate with the demonstrators. Violence from both sides has been seen, with rioters throwing rocks and attacking officers while police use beanbags on them.
