I find this idea hilarious. You are obviously not familiar at all with the bot, being permanently absent offsite, but let me demonstrate why the quoted statement makes no sense. Take a look at the regional history page. See the low point on Feb 8? That is the day the recruitment system started. See the all-time high point in April? That is around when people stopped using it. Now look at the current population, maintained by good ol' stamps. The bot and dedicated players are not mutually exclusive options. Rather, they complement each other. This region's population has stagnated and influence has actually dropped over the last eight months, which is frankly embarrassing and shows that you are not employing the bot or player dedication.
(Also, I put months and months of work into that bot for the expressly-stated reason that it would carry much of the workload when I retired. It genuinely angers me how many AA residents have flippantly dismissed it or outright refused to use it, when that effort was all for their sake. Every time they do so, they are giving me the finger, and I did nothing to deserve that.)
This, on the other hand, is not hilarious. How anyone could say that so shamelessly is beyond me.
Look, people, the AA is a cooperative effort. It was designed to provide all the tools and opportunities you could ever want, from endorsement and recruitment technology, to outlets for players interested in R/D and diplomatic gameplay, to inter-regional exchanges of ideas and activity, to improved efficiency through resource-sharing. So far, it has done so. However, it was not designed to actively do things for you. I can see why you might think that--you got spoiled, because for a long time I was doing so much work, and you conflated my work with that of the AA as an organization. When I stopped playing, it did not take long for you to start asking why the AA was no longer serving you. That is not the way it was supposed to be, though. The AA requires people to care and contribute effort in order to function, just like CK itself. It needs give and take.
Think about it, Conch Kingdom. Read some dispatches--yes, I know there are a lot of them--and get informed about the system we have here, then cast your judgments. Have a little faith, too. Believe it or not, I have many years of experience building regions, and I agonized over every decision I made to strengthen this one in the long term. Finally, keep an open mind. Perhaps you see no need for a military right here and now, but we can thank the JTF for almost all our foreign allies and connections (connections that decay with each day we neglect them). Perhaps you see no need for the AA Policies, but without them this region would be flooded with puppets and endorsement freedom would have been long ago sacrificed for security, losing a bit of what makes it unique. If you look for positives, they are not hard to find.

Yeah, see, I went off of what I heard from various people and assumed it was something similar to an API or something like that. As for the other points, I have absolutely no control over anything anymore, so I can't effect very much of a change. If I could, I most likely would use the things you provide or be actually able to say I recruit. At this juncture, I am powerless to do more than speak and influence with words.
I believe the second point is mostly the fault of me and some of the others. Let's rectify that shall we?
The AA has provided us with many things to benefit our region. Many of the points that August made are valid and more than just cause to reconsider your standpoint about the issue.
However, that being said, I find it disturbing that it took this long for any of our issues to be addressed by anyone. And the fact that, after we did try and leave, our region got trash talked by AAdministration and threatened to be invaded if we tried again, that's shocks me, especially since there has been no attempt to publicly (at least, not that I have been told, clearly not somewhere everyone can see) to mend any of the broken ties. That's disappoints me. I thought that, at the very least, the AAdministration would attempt to smooth things over as soon as the vote failed so that we wouldn't try again, but the best we got was people trash talking us (and me behind my back, which no only know because someone told me, but that's beside the point) and threatening us and then some weeks later, a call for changes that most likely will never happen, especially since it was not publicly addressed to the people of Conch Kingdom as a whole in the first place.
No one is trying to destroy what you've created, August. Well, I'm not. But I don't think your vision for the AA was for it to become a place where people actively don't want to be anymore. The people have, majority wise, made it clear they are unhappy with the current AAdministration and how it is running things. Some of us feel, me included, that there needs to be some fundamental change to the roster or at least a change of heart. I have heard things from my friends in the government here that would never have happened in the old days that I knew. Those things, honestly, never would have happened when founders active and I think you need to reconsider who is in charge, if they, as a group, carry out your vision, and have the ability to do so without alienating a quarter of their playerbase. If I could do something, I would. And I have. But this is so far out of my hands and I can't do anything but speak.

I guess I did only listen to what other people have to say about it, and I didn’t read any of the dispatches or anything like that. I guess I should look more into something before voting on it.
I got kicked out for being facsist, Indeed it is a lot of words. Many words that hold true when you look at it. But on the other side looking at NJs view that it's where nobody actively wants to be and be that as it may the vote did fail. However, 
New Jaedonstan, I am curious as to the full extent of this threatening behaviour as I only knew bits and pieces. Now though, it may be crucial to know.

I never thought I'd see CK fall out of the top 10 for WA Endorsements. We sat in the top 7 for so long, and even took #1 for a time. That "#12" is sad. Get cracking with those endorsements, people!

There were a few bits and pieces on the discord joking around and "threatening" an invasion of CK. Shockingly, I believe Tovakia was involved in those. I didn't consider them credible threats at all.

That's what I was looking for. I knew I had it somewhere, I just couldn't remember where. Thanks. As for whether credible or not, joking or not, such things should never, ever be joked abour, especially in this situation. And considering that there was some... let's say, strategically placed and ambiguously motivated endorsing going on between a few of the AA supporting nations during the actual vote itself. that all points to a rather unscrupulous attempt or at least plan to use the JTF or other people to put CK under military rule.
