In The Nude Beach, dog breeding has been banned in accordance with recent animal experimentation laws.

That's the kind of ancient, powerful statement that outlasts the ages. Nudist Dreamland archaeologists of the future will write scholarly papers about it. And you will be the first recognised Homo Nudus.

And we love it!

G'day Dreamlanders !
As another exciting week unfolds, stay tuned for new developments in the Trivia Tuesday Quiz format.
And don't miss the next episodes of Beach Love, the ND soap opera. Will Dirk the Guardsman go AWOL to find true love ?
Who shall be Prof. Hendric van Stäpėl's next teacher's pet ?
Stay with us, get to Tommy's, discuss it with your mates. And speaking of pets, please don't bring your cat. It's quite pointless. Like taking coal to Newcastle.
Happy Monday !

In Old gay men, burial ceremonies have become as routinised as tax forms.

Beach Love - that’s a good idea. But really, it’s only dancing, right? I would not want to have to do any adult acting with Prof. van Stįpėl.

Well...I don't know. I mean, I'm not the script writer. I'm just the makeup artist. I can make Prof. van Stįpėl look like Ricky Martin with just a few basic makeup items ("borrowed" from Gay Parrot's dressing room).
No, I think this production is about romance only. But...check for fine print on your contract before you sign it.

I’m not a prude but romance suits me better. You might consider hiring the actual Ricky Martin instead of trying to make Prof. van Stįpėl look like him. Just a suggestion.

Indeed, Ricky Martin would be no match for Prof. van Stįpėl. He would be easily out-romanced. :)

Ricky Martin is on Lady Laura's private phone book, so it was easy to give him a ring.
Allergic to cats, he is. So he ain't coming to Nudist Dreamland. Not for all the tea in China, he said.
I said I could make the Prof. look like Ricky Martin, but I overestimated my skills. Sorry. You know those terrible, hilariously bad wax figures you sometimes find at a Mme. Tussauds ? That's as good as I can get. Sorry.

Tuesday is Trivia Showdown Night at Tommy’s Bar

Here is your bonus question for a free milk and honey..

What is the name of the new Nudist Dreamland soap opera?

a) Tales from the Funeral Pyre

b) Sharx

c) Beach Love

Whisper your answer to Sal. She’ll check it in the Book of Answers. Ta, my lovelies. Happy Tuesday !!!

No one is taking any chances. Kein Wunder. It's a tough question...

There is bound to be a role for Prof. van Stįpėl. Is Jenna Coleman right for Lady Laura, or will Her Ladyship want to play herself?

Tuesday night draws to a close. If no one gets the bonus question right before midnight we’ll give the free milk and honey to Pope Frankie. Seem fair?

Jenna Coleman is the perfect choice. Young adult audiences will love her as Lady Laura.
For Prof. Van Stįpėl...I don't know...maybe Kenneth Branagh ?

I suggest we wait a few more hours. Till midnight in East Coast USA and Canada...we probably won't be up, but they might.

Of course you are right. Vancouver and Seattle, etc. still have eight hours of Tuesday to go.

Government employees from Carefree Island dominate international lumberjack competitions.

I think it's safe to say the bonus free milk and honey went to a different American country, Argentina. Not that they need any milk, I think. They have a lot of cattle there.
Argentina is famous for larger than life people like Eva Perón, Diego Armando Maradona and our man in South America, Pope Frankie.
Argentina is also (in)famous for having given the Thatcher government a way out of unpopularity, recession and riots. And Argentina gave it to the Iron Lady on a silver*** platter, in the form of the Falklands War, a dispute over some barren rocks in the middle of nowhere Southern Atlantic.
It was an outrage to former imperial pride. No one lives in some of those islands, so my guess is they taught penguins to say "We shall fight on the beaches" and sing "Rule Britannia".
The chord of patriotism had been struck. The rest is History.

***
Argentina and silver platter in the same sentence was a mere coincidence.

Argentina is curious because there are so many people of Italian descent. I have read thrillers set in Patagonia. Daniel Barenboim was born in Argentina. Che Guevara was from there.

Daniel Barenboim is beyond good. I've watched him on TV playing a Mozart piano concerto as the soloist, and conducting the orchestra from the piano. Like Mozart himself did.

I'm thinking towards Martin Freeman, actually.

Brilliant. And who'll play Dirk ?

Joe Keery, maybe? On second thought, make that Dean-Charles Chapman.

Yannia wrote:Joe Keery, maybe? On second thought, make that Dean-Charles Chapman.

I had a feeling Dirk was a very attractive bloke, but for some reason I thought he was...well, older. But I suppose that explains why he likes Friday night beach parties so much.

Yannia wrote:Joe Keery, maybe? On second thought, make that Dean-Charles Chapman.

Dean-Charles Chapman is so pretty. Can he play me? Ha ha, just kidding (not). He challenges my idea of Dirk, but that’s o.k. Pourquoi pas?

Who’s going to play Sal? Kate Winslet?
