Would having a WA delegate be beneficial to the region at all in the current state, or will that come later?
From what I've seen, it allows the delegate nation to be the face of the region, along with the founder. My assumption is that it would be nice to have one, although some of our countries may be unable to adapt to the WA's laws and resolutions as they are.
That's what I'm seeing as well. Maybe when all of the countries in the region are a little more established and ready to rumage through politics throughout the world, we have a delegate. But it seems like some things could get passed that could injure the smaller nations currently in the region.
Yes, I'm thinking that once the smaller nations, like myself, or flex seal, can become properly established then it should be a good idea to get into the interregional scene. I'm also thinking that we should agree as to when we do, after having looked at the delegation's rules, since one cannot ignore any of them.
Fair. I'd suggest once we all feel like we each have the potential to be a WA delegte and the changing of world politics won't affect us much, we could make someone a delegate for the region.
Maybe Yui Yang or Hitler Marshal would be good nations to elect as first WA Delegates, but that comes later down the line.
True, although from what I'm seeing, it best helps a delegate the more people that give them endorsements. Since that appears to give the delegate more power, so it would help the delegate most if a majority of their region are involved in the WA. Since WA members of the same region are the only ones who can give endorsements.
It would therefore help us if most, if not all, members of the regions were WA members and all gave endorsements to one or two countries.
Agreed, though this does bring up the question of which countries would be the regional delegate. As you said earlier, Yui Yang may be the best, or Hitler Marshal, though other good alternatives may be brought up, so the decision should be made when most people are active at the same time. Alas, I shall be going for a while, I'll be back on in roughly an hour and a half.
Hey if we need a WA delegate I will just put in my email
Put in your school email and tell everyone to the same so we are part of the World Assembly
I've joined the WA, I'm looking for any laws that could interfere with how a country is run, as far as I've gotten, most of these things appear to be mainly related to human rights. I'll bring up any potential laws that could cause issues within the region.
Also these seem to follow the geneva conventions, the first one I've seen prohibits humanitarian cargo with military cargo, no weapons with wounded. no ammo with doctors
Can you grant me polls authority? I shall make good polls. The only thing you should worry about is giving border control to people. If you only grant it to people you actually trust, then that will be good. On a side note, who will be WA Delegate? Also, should we be Anti-World Assembly or World Assembly. Since this is a new region, then we should decide the people we should let in, make a discord if we would like, then decide whether we will be doing Role Play. These are just options we have in this region.
I;m not in the WA. My WA nation is in another region. I am not the best for the job. Sorry.
You can't tell that because what if they just log in and do nothing and log back out. That is not a very good idea.
Where is the discord?
There does. I can guide all you noobs through nationstates.
You need to endorse people to be WA Delegate.
Hello fellow nations
Thanks for the endorsement, Yui Yang!
If anybody in here still looks at this, this region needs a regional delegate, because otherwise there's no access to the executive functions and we can't put people in places of power
Please do respond to this.
