I have been WA Delegate this time for 3 years and 239 days. How embarrassing is that ! I have to transfer my WA membership to another nation to fend off a raid elsewhere. I’ve checked and the new Delegate here will be splendid !

End of an era :)
Our winter sports poll is now up. I took your suggestions and looked for a few more to get the maximum twelve. If skiing wins, we'll decide what kind of skiing on another poll. The top three choices from this poll will compete in a runoff. While the current poll is for all of NationStates, the runoff will be decided by Maritimers only. We'll do an official summer sport survey in a few months.
Also, the English Wikipedia doesn't say so, but the French Wikipedia says Ringette is for girls LOL.
Curling is big in Scotland
While I thought I knew everything about Scotland, I just learned today that Curling was first played there. I thought it was Canadian.
