You guys seem to be more helpful, how do I make the font size bigger?
Well, no, there is a problem with weight.
It has to do with movement in space, the heavier you are, the more thrust and power you need to expend to go through changes in direction.
If you have a space battleship, you need very large thrusters and a lot of power to maneuver and conduct changes in your course.
It's also a matter of getting dragged into the gravity of other planets.
If you're a very heavy ship, you might get stuck if you get too close to planets with specific gravities, and you might fall into the planet's atmosphere as a result. As for smaller ships, they're lighter and more able to escape from these traps.

YOu can bold it, but you can't change the font size on the RMB. YOu can only do that in the forums and I think also in the factbooks
Thank you so much... sir?
Use nukes as propulsion. Losing speed ain't an issue since no friction and all. Also getting too close to planets in space is not a real threat unless you aim for the planet. What stops you from putting drones on smaller ships tho? Crew is mostly confined to maintenance as most systems are automatic by then.
Anyone played Silent Hill Origins?
Hello there.
General Kenobi!
Using nukes won't work because you need to have finer control if you're going to be operating anywhere near any solar systems, and also nuclear propulsion can't be controlled if you just need a little bit of a burn to change your direction slightly.
Also, the space you'd need for nukes for thrust would be well above any other type of thrust, and wouldn't be worth it in the end.
Also, consider this, any space battle happening near a planet is either going to be very far away, or very close, meaning you've got to be really careful.
Based on the mindset of a large portion of everyone in this RMB... I'm leaning towards them taking the close combat.
As for the drones, I'm making no comment, because you have your point made and I don't feel like disproving it, there's no reason to.
Don’t even.
So what's happening?
Don’t even.
Losing speed is an issue because of no friction, friction is what slows things down here on earth usually.
At a certain point wouldn’t you just be making a Russian nesting doll? I’m not saying seeing one ship turn into a 1,000 recursively smaller ships wouldn’t be effective, in fact I think that would be rather intimidating.
Space combat talks.
Began from talks about carriers going to be obsolete at some point, something that I think won't happen because you do still need front-line airbases to launch attacks from.
Strala and Bunnies
Oh okay.
abouT the world cup?
Frankly, carriers will always exist. You could have aircraft with the longest range in the world but that won't do anything if you can't use those aircraft in combat in time to matter. And further, damaged (but functional) aircraft need a place to land as well, which won't work if you're just relying on airbases in your homeland on the other side of the planet.
Bunnies and Wubdich
Close combat is literally the opposite of where you want your ships in space to end up in. Generally speaking close combat in space is risky as the other side might have just got the right idea of using kinetic weaponry from the other side of the solar system while you desperately try to reach them with your limited range lasers and plasma. Not saying that those shots would hit. One out of a 100 is still worth it in the end. Also tnukes being the main system to gain speed isnt that bad of an idea you can always have smaller maneuver engines. And any space battle near a planet gives the massive home turf advantage to the defensive side. And if it is not planet of either side then theres little point to fight near it. Also you greatly underestimate the space of. Uhm. Space.
Strala, Bunnies, and The Municipalities of Antarctica
I have no idea
Feck it. This is what the Fanfic looks like right now. It's 2am and I need to go to bed due to college.
So, here ya go with the horrible beginning to a weird story:
A Slice of Life story
NationStates, the website where you can simulate being the leader of a nation and roleplay as this nation. Tens of thousands of nation exist, some more powerful than the others. These nations are located in regions of all kinds and size. One of them, the Pacific. My home-region. And a chaotic place. And one day, I sat there like all the others, and thought: ‘Why not do the same thing animes do since years, and just personify all nations as Anime Girls?’ Thus, this story was born. Thus, I welcome you, to my strange adventure through the personifications of the Pacific!
