Roof designed. Kinda resembles the White House. Time to make 3x3 doors on both sides. Alternatively, make simple blocks to prevent mobs from getting in.
I ended up putting 3 pistons under the floor and hooking a bunch of levers to them. I will be able to prevent any mobs from getting in if I have to not sleep in the night.
The second floor now contains not just the breeder and some rails, but also a large storage, for, I guess, emeralds.
Added roof lighting. Now nothing will spawn in or on the building.

The building is pretty big but the second floor is rather cramped. Well, who cares, it's literally the inside of a mechanism.
So, in total, the thing will demand additional quartz and slime... Doable, good thing I didn't use too many sticky pistons.

I invented a mechanism that phases villagers through the floor down into the hall. It's very small and 1-stackable, but my design puts them one block apart, which is even better. It consists of 2 observers, 3 solid blocks, a repeater, a trapdoor, a sticky piston and a piece of string.
