"Human greed" doesn't exist. Humans are not naturally greedy, they learn it because of the society we've built over the past 20k-ish years.

So, when tribal centers in the most primitive state wants the resources and territory of another that is not a natural greed? When a caveman murders his neighbor for the companionship of their woman or mate that is not natural greed? Human greed is very natural, but in order to not devolve into total savages or barbarians natural greed needs to be controlled, regulated, and in many cases repressed.

What if the government in question is socialist? And it's not like the world isn't owned by megacorps already.

Omg can we not talk about communism???
This is fortnite talk.

A majority of the planet isn't socialist though, and though many fantasize about a global socialist government many on the opposite spectrum fantasize about a global neofeudal capitalistic or fascist form of government as well.

Three Galaxies wrote:"The dogma of the cult of society" is the fairly reasonable belief that people shouldn't be NEETs for their whole lives. Since you and I both have this belief, we are dogmatic to the cult of society.

backread and noticed that i missed this.
no, that's not what i've said, you should try reading what i write instead of putting words in my mouth.

Homocide most definitely isn't human nature. That's a funky take right there.

Chimpanzees kill each other all the time, species infighting happens all over the place in a variety of specie groups, human beings are just another type of animal where it is no different in terms of human nature. I of course am not saying violence should be permissible, quite the contrary, I am saying we need to build a system that either represses those forms of human nature or eliminates it altogether, we of course can not do that under the current system where human greed is elevated as a political virtue.

Arctic Lands wrote:None of the planet is socialist, last I checked

Depends if you see socialism and communism through an idealistic preconception of perfectionism or not. I try to be more pragmatic or utilitarian in my own perspective of things. But yes, a majority is not.
