Thank you kindly, but alas, Westwind's doctors only allow him to have one cup of coffee a day. *sighs again*

Rugby World Cup starts next weekend.

BBD daughter met the Big Yin on her train today - selfie and he facetimed son-in-law. Absolute gent!

That is so random but terrific!

I have a long weekend of stiff rum drinks and American football ahead of me, with some occasional playing with dogs. I have told my lady to save her breath concerning a honey-do list. And all friends and relatives have been told to feck off concerning any visits, travel, etc.

And Liverpool maintain their 100% record while Man City lose! To Norwich!

Howls of derisive laughter Pep!

Is this something that requires Malbec to decipher? Better not take any chances.

Football or soccer as it’s called in the States.

Badger gets it.

I watched Norwich City beat Man City. Brilliant match. I love watching Pukki!

I also watched the Hotspurs blow the doors off of Crystal Palace.

Trampling on the rights of my people because they let me do so because their feelings got hurt lmao, anyways its sad that tinypic is down :(

Hello westerners, I come in tranquility with memes and tea, and to verbally express hi to our glorious neighbors.

I'm back, baby!

Welcome back

What'd I miss?

I saw a Journey Tribute band play this evening. I wasn't impressed. The drummer had the cheapest sounding drum kit I've seen in a long time. That's not to diminish the drummer's talent, he played a nice solo. But the sound of his kit sucked.

And don't get me started on the wig the singer was wearing! Let alone how bored the guitarist seemed to be. They keyboard player that seemed to be trying to look like Jimmy Page. Whoever was doing sound didn't have the keyboards up enough in the mix. The bass player needed a better bass. That cheap Fender was lame.

It wasn't all their fault. The lights failed in the middle of a song, the singer sang, 'some sunlight would help'....as the lighting tech tried to figure it out on stage while they played.

The kids running around in the grass in front of the stage were more entertaining.

Go Seattle Sounders (or so says the card in my wallet).

#1. I hope the cover wasn't too bad.
#2. I hope that's not the 'norm' for tribute bands.

I wonder about similar subjects to yourself.

What you talkin' about, Willis?

The only tribute band I've seen was a Beatles tribute band. They were quite good.

Afternoon all, Sunday roast on the go!

TODAY IN THE WEST

It's National Double Cheeseburger Day! If that's your thing, then go for it! And maybe try something new. There are a variety of different types of burgers made of things besides beef, including turkey burgers and plant-based patties. Some of them are really good! Plus, you could try new condiments and new toppings. There's a lot of opportunity.

I feel like seeing a Journey tribute band is going to be a bit of a dumpster fire anyway.

Sips coffee

Crab-meat burger patties?
