I'm getting started writing my WA resolution that I've been meaning to do for a long time.

what is it?

A GA resolution aimed to prevent overdrawing from rivers and lakes. Somewhat based on the real-world Mono Lake situation.

Since Peraro Krotoik is having device difficulties, your weekly RP update:
Talks in Bassiliya draw to a close as the coalition prepares another assault, while their allies in the West meet with Shijeun.
The Seltic army has been driven out of Prefencia, falling back to their Southern capital where they have the home-field advantage, but if the Prefencian army can enlist the aid of Almaaz or Shijeun, they may be able to drive them back across the sea.
Meanwhile, the Krotoik Emperor sits in a gilded cage of his own making, helpless to watch as his precious empire burns around him and his lords whisper of mutiny and treason.

Peraro Krotoik delenda est. And Bassiliya, And Shijeun, And Almaaz, and Prefencia, and every other country that doesn't fit the Protectorate's extremely narrow definition of a good government. But all of those can wait.

Hello everyone,
I've just joined, you have no idea how much time I spent looking for a region that has RP based on the medieval times, that's exactly what I was looking for when I created this nation, until my other nation got a telegram from your region.

Welcome to Thegye!

My neighbor left a glass of duck food outside his door to feed the ducks that visit occasionally, and now literally every morning since then the two ducks wait outside his door and quack for food.

The day is bright, yet cold. The signs of spring have not yet entered the air, but soon the warm weather will flow from the south. Those who stand in the crowd, waiting for the Diarchs, sip warm cider and mulled wine, which helps to add to the happy mood and loud chatter. The befurred Diarchs step out onto their terrace, and the crowd whispers in anticipation. Then, they speak. "It is the pleasure of the Diarchs that, in celebration of the new year and of the winter months, a tourney will be held! From across the world, warriors and champions shall try themselves against each other in single combat, the winner being declared 'Champion of the Winter'. May the best warrior win!"

Citizens and friends! Another tourney is going to be held next week, everyone welcome! This tourney has a winter theme, to celebrate the season of the ice. Please make sure to check out the dispatch below and leave and upvote!

Welcome to the Thegye Winter Tourney!

This month, Thegye will be holding a simulated tournament with contestants from nations both within and outside our region. If you are interested, continue reading! Instructions are below. If you have any questions, make sure to telegram Bassiliya or DM him on Discord!

HOW IT WORKS

1. To begin, you will need to register for the tournament using the proper registration below. Once you've completed the form, you can send it to Bassiliya via telegram or Discord. Once you have registered and created your character, you can sit back and relax. THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS JANUARY 25TH.

2. Each character will be sorted into a tourney bracket. Each bracket will have a certain number of players and some NPCs created to fill the gaps. Each day, a tier of the bracket will be simulated, with each character fighting five rounds to win the match and move to the next tier.

3. Should a character be defeated in battle by their opponent, they will be placed in the secondary tourney bracket, where all player characters face off in a death-match. The winner of the second bracket will be crowned Champion of the Lost.

4. One character will come out on top, defeating all other opponents, and will be crowned Champion of Thegye... until the next tournament.

New poll is up! The interplay of religion and politics drives much of the conflict in the world. In your own life, how do these categories of ideas influence one another?

I replied "tangentially" because of a few reasons. As a Christian, I believe that government is ordained by God, and I have the duty to follow and exercise my rights. Of course, this doesn't mean I think all politics are therefore good and holy; on the contrary. I tend to stay out of politics for the main reason that it goes against everything I believe religiously. It's all about arguments, being more powerful than the next guy, and glorifying one's self. Therefore, they are related, but only because my religion dictates how I should act concerning government's rule, not how I should act towards politics and what side to choose, etc.

Since you're asking
I don't have religious belief,I used to be a Muslim, but now I'm not, however when you live in a region like the Middle East, religion interferes with almost every aspect of life, not just politics, so even if you leave religion here, it does not leave you

Bassiliya and Cothern

About the poll, I am unsure.

I was raised Jewish, and had a bar mitzvah which came with years of Hebrew school before that. All throughout Hebrew school it was near pounded in to me that Israel was the home of the Jewish people and that in all their conflicts they were in the right. So growing up, before I had a chance to really develop any strong political beliefs, I was fervently pro-Israel and believe that our enemies the other Arabic countries wanted us destroyed. Nowadays I am very liberal, not quite socialist or communist, but still very liberal, but my unwavering support for Israel still stands, even despite the fact I know they've done horrible things and the fact I stand with the left on nearly every other issue.

That view, that I still somewhat hold, is certainly influenced by my religion. So while I am not religious and go days without thinking about religion or gods or anything like that, I've undoubtedly been affected by my religion and political views in ways I likely don't even recognize.

I have ticked I have no religious believes. I do not believe in a higher power or holy things. I do have respect for every religion but I think religion should NEVER intervene with politics. Politics and religion should be 100% seperate. I think having religion and politics mix up you're going to get a mess, you can (atleast here) see it with religious education. They really wanted education to be mixed with religion and now people get taught different things in different schools, which can mess up the person. It isn't something that mixes and never should it.
