New Neighbors and Allies to the South
The Federal Republic of Greater Taggart is visited today by Chancellor Chang of The National Chinese Union, and the Secretariat of State. The two are met at Beijing International Airport by a security contingency of 40 Executive Guard. After the short 3.5 hour flight, the two are welcomed by their security and a welcoming party with red carpets, a military band, and Federal Politicians, including the Prime Minister and Senate President. TAF Vehicles flank the plane and TASF jets and helicopters are on display for the Chancellor and State Secretariat to admire. The four leaders enter an armored limousine, protected by the Executive Guard, where they will introduce one another and extend pleasantries.
15 Minutes later they will arrive at the Capitol Building and will be met with the 60 Senate Guardsmen in charge of their protection during their time at the Capitol. They are lead on a brief tour of the building by the Senate President and led to the Hex Office of the Prime Minister. The four discussed the Exchange of Embassies, Establishment of Trade, Global Security Threats, and Military Aid and Alliance. Details on the agreements are soon to follow from the Prime Minister after the departure of Chancellor Chang.
Both the Secretariat and Chancellor are invited to stay at the Guest Home of the Prime Minister, a beautiful 15,000 sqft, 6 bedroom, 12 bathroom estate located on the Executive Grounds. Here they will dine and relax with the Prime Minister and his family. The two Diplomats from The National Chinese Union are expected to stay for 4 days. They will travel, with the PM to Busan, Seoul, and Xian.

Chancellor Chang and Secretariat Ko were rather excited to be in Greater Taggart, the nation standing as a giant on the world stage, the fact that they were neighbors was more of a blessing in disguise for the two. As they landed they would be escorted by Guards across the City of Beijing, taking a tour of the Captiol Building and looking around the city throughout the day. Chang and Ko would accept the offer to stay at the PM's Guest Estate after holding a successful meeting with the Taggartiarians, Chancellor Chang would make a statement for Chinese Media stating that he hoped for a "new friendship" to blossom between the nations of Greater Taggart and the National Union. It was his goal that this be achieved.
Hopefully the remainder of the trip would go well, though both Ko and Chang believed it would.
