The Crew of HMS NHS is sad to announce the death of Kevin Hall, the Crew's artist, and the person who created the now unused Imperial Senate Seals. Kevin's body was found in the middle of a hallway, and currently, investigations say he died to asphyxiation from choking on his own vomit.
Recent developments about Albert King's death have recently come to light. The security team found records that King was transmitting messages to an unknown person. The message information has not been discovered yet.

Attention Confederation Citizens!
IS#15: Motion to Implement Confederation Defence Force Act 2020 has been officially passed by the Imperial Senate and Council. Despite initial concerns raised by the Confederation Bullet about the motion's legality, the Office of the Overseer decided that it did not contradict the Imperial Senate Act or precedent set by previous legislation. Nevertheless, this was not the only challenge that the motion faced. Throughout the voting period, various Representatives publically decried the motion for a plethora of reasons, with some accusing it of needless bureaucracy, others of overreach, and others still railing against its implementation of new taxes.
The motion did pass in the end, however by the narrowest margin of any in President Hazelwood's career, with only a 57.7% majority. The new Senate Building is filled with mutterings about Hazelwood's waning control and his impending downfall. His supporters, on the other hand, remain unconvinced. One RAP Senator, when asked their opinion on these whispers, turned a shade similar to his party's official colour and angrily stated that "those fools are just grasping at anything to attack the President with. He's at the height of his power, the RAP's grip on the Senate is stronger than ever. The motion still passed, didn't it, and it only seems narrow because he's set a really high bar from all his previous motions."
Indeed, the RAP still commands a fearsome lead over any other party in the Senate. The ranks of the opposition, however, have been shifting. The PDP recently gained its fifth member, propelling them to the status of major party and official Opposition. The new Leader of the Opposition, Constantine XV of Zicona, is expected to make an announcement at some point in the near future.
The next motion, IS#16, is already up for vote and well on its way to passing.

The military models are continuously improved, as more field data comes in. ‘Project Improvement’ is about to catch up to the initial schedule and - after numerous setbacks - has started producing results that exceed our intended objectives. It will require further field tests, before we can consider ‘Project Improvement’ to be in a functioning stage. This will most likely take another month. With both projects coming along at an acceptable pace, the Ministry of Science and Technology has started preparations for ‘Project Crusader’. As the project’s success is entirely reliant on the success of both ‘Project Replacement’ and ‘Project Improvement’, we project it will take at least two to three month, before we will be able to produce first usable results. This concludes my report.”
The man looked up from his notes at the eight men sitting around the table in front of him. None of them moved as much as a muscle. Their expressions completely neutral, as if they were statues. Intimidating was the only word he could think of, to describe the members of the Small Board. He hated having to report to the most powerful men in the nation and unfortunately for him, the frequency of his reports had drastically increased in recent months.
“Thank you, that would be all for now.” The voice of the Great Chairman pulled him back to reality. “Please wait outside, as we discuss another topic, that might warrant a special project.”
Disheartened, that he could not yet leave, the Minister of Science and Technology gave a quick nod and left the room.
“Another topic? I didn’t see anything about that on the schedule”, the man to Akius’ right remarked. His Minister of Internal Affairs was a true example of Destroyian meticulousness.
“This topic is a little… special, Umitmad. More so than what we typically talk about in this room. Well… I don’t know how to put this without sounding like a complete and utter lunatic, so here goes nothing… I… have discovered divinity.”
“You… discovered what?”
“Did you… hit your head?”, his Minister of Defense, seated to his left, asked with concern.
“Your daughter asked me the exact same question, Nurum. No, I did not hit my head. But believe me, when I tell you, that I wish I would have. That would certainly be much better than this insanity.”
“So, let us get back to this… divinity you discovered. What exactly do you mean by that?” This time it was Bekkam Omoron, the Minister of Culture and Religion, who commented on the matter at hand.
“I believe I can help with that”, a new voice added.
Immediately all heads turned towards the man wearing a tunic and sandals. Where just moments ago Kudoc Anaforn had given his report, now a long haired, bearded man had made himself comfortable, leaning back in one of the office chairs, hands folded over his stomach.
“Who the hell are you? How did you get in here?”, Nurum Agast thundered. “Do you have the slightest idea where you are?” He hammered his fist into the desc, in one of his feared fits of rage.
The man on the receiving end was neither impressed, nor intimidated by the act. Instead he just kept on smiling, looking over at Akius.
“Sit down, Nurum. Do you remember the intruder we had a few weeks back? Well, that’s him. Might I introduce you to Mr. …?”
“Christ.”
“... Of course… What else… Anyways, after my little run in with Mr. … Christ, I developed some rather unique… abilities.”
“Abilities? Are you sure you didn’t hit your head, Akius?”, his Minister of Foreign Affairs asked.
“Yes. I’ve had extensive tests run on me. There is nothing wrong with me… and they found absolutely nothing that would explain my newfound skills.”
The Great Chairman sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
“It would take too long to explain all of this, so let me just show you.”
He raised his glass for all to see. Slowly, as to ensure that nobody misses it, the color of the water changed to the deep red, characteristic for red wine. The men just stared at him.
“Try it.” He handed the glass to Nurum Agast, then turned to his right, picking up Umitmad’s glass and turning the water into wine as well.
“You too.”
Both men drank, the confusion in their faces deepening, as the liquid hit their tongues.
“What in the hell…”, Umitmad commented.
“How is that possible?”, Nurum added.
“God moves in mysterious ways,” the uninvited visitor claimed, as he stood up and spread his arms. “I have come to bring glad tidings. You all have been chosen, to assist in the lord's work. Rise, as disciples of the lord.”
Without another word, the son of god just vanished, as if the earth itself had swallowed him.
“What… was that?”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs finally asked, breaking the silence that had befallen the room.
“Honestly, I’ve stopped caring at this point. Just pick up your glasses and see if you can turn the water into wine.”
“Yeah, right, of course I can just turn water into wi- OH MY GOD, WHAT IN THE FLYING FU*K?” The confusion was written all over the face of Akius’ Minister of Intelligence and Security, as the man just accidentally worked a miracle.
“Urgh… this is making my head hurt”, the Minister of Education and Labor added, slowly turning the glass of deep red liquid in his hand.
“This makes no sense at all.” The Minister of Finance and Economy just stared at the glass in front of him, rubbing his temples.
“Welcome to my world, gentlemen. Now that you have seen a glimpse of what we are capable of doing, I’m sure you understand the necessity to further investigate this. I suggest a special project of the highest security level. Only a select few individuals can know about this. We cannot let this information leak, before we have a solid grasp on how it works and the limits of its capabilities. This could be a great asset, further cementing our position of power, but for now, we have to treat it like we would any other technology in development.”
He took a moment to look at the faces of his confused allies. They did not seem to fully listen, still too shocked by the sudden revelation of divinity. He knew exactly what they were going through. Relieved to no longer be alone in dealing with all this nonsense, he continued.
“Anyways, let’s get Kudoc back in here, we have a lot to discuss.”

VOCRYAE: The very foundations of the Confederation have been shaken following the meteoric and totally unforeseen rise of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) to the rank of not just major party but Opposition within the Imperial Senate.
The PDP was founded by in July this year by the Ziconean east indian company, but is now under the control of the colony's motherland, Zicona.
Among other things, the PDP advocates for federalism and widespread democratic practises across the Confederation's regional government.
"We look towards a new tomorrow," said Constantine XV, leader of both the PDP and Zicona, now the Imperial Senate's Leader of the Opposition.
"It is quite clear to us that the Confederation is a powerful state checked only by its past. Through transcendence of this, she can move further in the direction of making a meaningful contribution to NationStates. The PDP is the force that can achieve this."
The PDP is now comprised of five nations: Zicona, Feuraxia, Galamancia, New Sparta Ascendancy and New caledonian reich. According to the Imperial Senate Act 2020 (V.iii), that categorises it as major party, and the largest party that currently stands against the Hazelwood Administration's Royalist Authoritarian Party (RAP).
Needless to say, shock has permeated all corners of the Confederation, leading to political and public outcry. For many years, the destruction of democracy across NationStates was a key goal of the Confederation, so mandated by Imperial Law. Various revisions were made during 2019 to permit the holding of elections and democratic practises at the Emperor of Jocospor's express will. The PDP would seem to go yet another step further.
"This is a disingenuous, ungrateful and positively despicable move by false Confederation nations!" declared Sir Andrew Hazelwood II HCS of Golden impirial utopia, President of the Imperial Senate and leader of the Royalist Authoritarian Party.
"The magnitude of this insult is unfathomable for many, but I have seen this Confederation, I have seen it at its most critical times - I lose my words, only because the deepest disgust and loathe floods my being! And so, today, I promise this House that measures will be taken by my party to ensure this PDP - Positively Despicable Party - is swiftly dealt with!!"
The Lord Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sir Hunteth Veredon HCF of Valerox, is also, according to a ministerial secretary, "filthy."
Others are less frustrated. "Times are changing," said Human Unit FS #852, Senator for Clippius maximus. "Evolution is the way, and the PDP represent evolution."
The Confederation's Mouth and Will of the Emperor, Sir Aleksandr Ivanov HCF of Depackya, released a short press statement on the matter. "It surprises me that member states feel this way," Sir Aleksandr said.
"The Confederation is built upon authoritarian governance."
Violent rioting has been reported in Supolinia and Russian states of eurasia, two Confederation member states commonly understood to be fierce supporters of the Shadow Cult. Divisions of the recently reformed Confederation Defence Force have been dispatched to keep the peace.
And, of course, many are wondering what exactly this will mean for 
The Shadow Cult of Jocospor itself. Both the Imperial Palace and the Central Imperial Direktorate declined to comment. High-Direktor Doris Kohn, who only recently opened the new, state-of-the-art Imperial Senate Building, has recently departed for Royal Ule, ShrewLlamaLand.
Some analysts have speculated whether the Ministry of the Senate, in its capacity as the Senate's regulatory body, will intervene to declare the PDP illegal. No evidence suggests this will be the case, but many expect some sort of "defensive" preparations will be made. Nonetheless, analysts remain convinced that the PDP will see further growth. Eight members are predicted before the close of the quarter.
For now, the PDP's power is already challenging the status quo. The Confederation Defence Act 2020 has been implemented into the Confederation's Code of Law by way of IS#15, but the vote only obtained a 57.7% majority.
IS#16, which seeks amendments to both the Government Act 2020 and the Code of Law, is currently at vote and holds an 82.35% majority.

In light of the reactant news that PDP has become the Head of the Opposition, I would like to say a few words.
It is clear to see that the people of CCD want to change. They are tired of regions hearing our name and immediately screaming fascist. They are tired of the idea that if you want to change the region then you are a traitor. We the people of CCD must get out of these current murky times and move into a more democratic and Progressive golden age. We must work with others to help CCD thrive. A distress call has intercepted yesterday at 0217 by the Yeetusan Security Bureau from which experts believe originated from 
HMS NHS. In the call, the deceased Dr. Ryan Brooke asks for "her" and "her" mother to be stopped. Experts are uncertain on who "her" is, and it unclear on their motives, however some speculate that it may be because of Vice President Clarke's supposed "power grab", which is currently underway in IS#16.
When asked to comment on the distress call, [REDACTED], Director of the Security Bureau, states that "We will do whatever it takes to stop the, er, psychopath that has been terrorizing the crew of HMS NHS, and poses an obvious threat to the security of the Confederation."
Near the end of the transmission, experts hear an obvious gunshot, which is believed to have ended Dr. Brooke's life. Yeetusan Agents placed on the ship report a vent lid that appeared to be moved near the spot Brooke's body was recovered. The Security Bureau requests the crew of HMS NHS allow 30 agents on board to protect them and attempt to arrest the murderer.
They will not let anyone get in their way even if it means..."
