If you are interested in running for Optus or Archon, you have until the 15th to publicly declare you are running. This declaration may be made on Discord, the RMB, or in the forums, just make sure I know to include you on the ballot.
Optus directs the legislature (picking what gets debated next, and generally moving things along) and foreign relations.
Archon runs recruitment and culture for the region (so if you have an idea for a fun event or game, or if you want to grow the region, this is the role for you!)

Alright, I have given it a bit more thought. A lot of studio ghibli movies could easily be called my favourite movie, but I think today I would say Howl’s Moving Castle, but if you ask me tomorrow I might say a different one (Princess Mononoke, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirted Away).
On a completely different track, I still really like Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2 😜

Foreign Dispatch from Ilianta
Today Ilianta breaks our 100 year policy of isolation to reach out to our noble neighbouring nations. We are looking to reestablish diplomatic ties, and are seeking trading partners.
Those nations with long memories might remember Ilianta as a belligerent nation, and a warmonger. That however, is no longer the case. We have turned to the tenets of Lux Perfecta, and the worship of they who feel in that perfect light. Any nation who wishes to be illuminated in the ways illustrious we will most happily teach.
We look forward to a new chapter in our history, and eagerly await the response of our honourable neighbours.

Hey there everyone!
As mentioned previously on discord, I plan on running for Valus, so take this as the official announcement of my candidacy!
My campaign will follow shortly (as I'm v hungry and have to make dinner :P)
Edit (01/07/22) - whoops, that was a long dinner :P
Since making a whole campaign now would be pointless, I mostly just promise to be available and proactive in the role of Valus, and look forward to hopefully getting things rolling!
Edit 2 (Same Day) - Also, won't be voting in the poll as a matter of principle, since it's a vote on approval in me it'd feel a bit... Like patting myself on the back :P
