yes, many companies are basically abusing their workers, but amazon is basically a wholesaler of goods, a middle man, he is not responsible for those companies actions

Republic of Satherland wrote:Like you, with your championing of a person who literally doesn't allow his workers to have toilet breaks in 12-hour shifts?

i was talking about finding ways to legally avoid taxes, I don't agree with all the policies it has, I separated the art from the artist

And here's another problem with Europe now: they don't read. I'm not lumping them all together. But it's pretty obvious that a large majority of people in that demographic in THIS PARTICULAR COMMUNITY really need to pick up a freakin book

Oh, of course. Can you maybe, I don't know, read my posts before keyboard warrioring against the alleged ageist?

I don't think it's me that don't know how to read. Maybe you should read your previous post again when you always refer to 12 year olds as the problem and even accused the group of being mostly comprised of 12 year olds when you don't have any evidence to back that up.

Just the same

A lower age does contribute to a lack of experience and knowledge

But not every poor person is a criminal. And not every poor criminal commits a crime because of their poverty?

Again, I didn't disagree with the circumstances Satherland. But do you see what I'm getting at here?

That's literally the point I was trying-

That's it I'm yeeting outta here again, I remember why I don't converse here anymore

Never did I say that. He is however, directly responsible for the things Amazon does to their warehouse employees, delivery drivers, etc.

How old you guys?
A.7-12
B.13-17
C.18-21
D.22 above

Well if that's the point you were trying to make, I apologize for the misunderstanding and yes, I agree with you Sather.

again, I was speaking in praise of lessening his taxes, I do not agree with everything he does, again

Separate the art from the artist

🤦‍♀️

My point was that while age doesn't necessarily mean that you're immature and unknowledgeable, the sad fact is that the vast majority of 12yos here in NS Europe are unfortunately-

You know what, forget it... you won't get this either and I give up on this place

Yeah and I was saying that since his money, which he 'avoids' taxes on, is not fairly earned, and as such he should not be praised for trying and succeeding to keep it

The New Nordic Union wrote:Oh but why not if it could be MorE prOFiTabLe?

because giving a bill later means you could tack on interest on payments over time and would be a lot more profitable than asking for cash on the spot....

But the government also consist of people
Also, a private industry can then determines themselves, how much they wanna help. They could just randomly decide to make the quality worse or more expensive, to make more money

If that was your point then I'm sorry for misunderstanding but I was arguing against your first point when you said the reason the rmb is a dumpster fire is because the rmb is made up of 12 year olds and people with an "IQ of 4".

That's the first post I saw as well. It comes across as you accusing 12 year olds of having an IQ of 4

Oh but I could just about extort any amount of money and other goods from them if I withheld the only thing that would save them, could I not?... So, no need for later add-ons if I can get everything in advance

Governments are the people. I don't know if you ever saw the leviathan theory by Hobbes, but shortly the leviathan is an huge, enormous beast that rules everyone, but is composed by the same people it rules. Keep in mind that Hobbes wrote that thinking of an absolute monarchy, so it even makes more sense with a democracy. If you feel that the government waste money or is corrupted, ask yourself why they're voted in the first place.

Isn't healthcare partly government and partly private?

The point is, we shouldn't privatize public services

Libertandonien wrote:Isn't healthcare partly government and partly private?

Over here, while publicly owned, most hospitals are run like businesses, to the detriment of the quality of medicine and care
