Dump random political arguments here into my exams. I despise learning US politics over UK lmao so I definitely need some help.
I am surprised that nobody voted “I don't do politics”.
tbh US politics for me is just Philippine politics minus the rampant political dynasties (yes, they do exist in the US, but not as much as it does in the Philippines), and corruption.
The UK, on the other hand, while may also contain political dynasty (I mean, look at the old man living in his palace with his mum's corgis and swords) and corruption, is sorta... interesting, if not hilarious since its political structure is based on a gosh-darn-toothn-tons of archaic documents meant to uphold the rules of the nobility over the monarch.
That's probably because this poll is only open for Gypsy Lands residents instead of all the nations.
About the poll, I don't live in the US. Neither am I an American. I'm Portuguese with roots in South Africa, educated in the UK, and I live in Italy. Where politics - for lack of a better word - is colourful. Where else would a pornstar become an MP ?
From the little I know of US History starting with the Thirteen Colonies, Federalism is the only way. And US bi-cameralism works fine.
I don't fully grasp the mechanics of the Electoral College but I understand its role and importance. I agree with 
Gypsy Lands on that.
I don't believe in direct democracy. There's a problem with it : it's direct. Meaning, people tend to be more open and vocal and demanding. You may find yourself strongly disagreeing with your friend, your loved one, your next door neighbour.
I don't like politicians and political parties either but at least they know how to negotiate and reach compromises.
Nobody really cares about the nobility here anyway. Unless they're dead or unable to sweat.

I used to work with a Gypsy, and he calls himself a Gypsy and Roma. There are Roma musical groups and performers who call each other Gypsy's. I used to work at a restaurant as a busser and a Gypsy family visited the restaurant from time to time, I became friends with them, they invited me to their house one day, and they read my palm. They once celebrated a Roma Gypsy holiday at the restaurant and they were dressed in traditional Roma Gypsy clothes.
