Central california republic

It’s finally done. My original nation has now upped and threw itself into its grave.

Gypsy Lands wrote:We [...] welcome all embassies. Almost.

We, on the other hand, welcome all embassies without any almost. The only reason why we don't build embassies with some regions is that we want to avoid piling tons of embassies because our propaganda business would otherwise turn into a nightmare.

East jalang wrote:they're a great enemy of Ceeio

It all started with a stupid lawsuit and gradually tured into Ceeio's Aus union declaring war on us. Since then, Ceeio has been DOSed for his crimes against NationStates game rules.

Flandarz wrote:racial pronouns

I know half the pronouns are personal, half are possessive, some are gendered etc. but I never heard of racial pronouns. What are they?

*cough* looks like someone is being Ceeioed *cough*

sigh
Why do all the kiddies want to take part on our RMB? I was expecting GL to appeal to the more seasoned player.

Racial pronouns are pronouns you'd use when referring to someone by their race. Caucasian is a benign example. I don't know was "ceeio" stands for, myself, but it certainly doesn't sound like a polite thing to say about someone.

Isn't Caucasian a noun/adjective?

😂😂😂😂😂

Ceeio comes from the nation of South ceeio. I've had plenty of contact with Ceeio and his incarnations but I never wondered about the etymology of the name. I never even thought about it carrying a racial meaning, especially when I considered the nature of Ceeio himself. At first I thought it was a weird way of phonetically spelling CEO but after googling the word for fun, it yielded "Chinese Environmentally Extended Input Output", so possibly he just snatched the abbreviation.

You trespassed against Ceeio when Aus Union still ruled over the Region of kangaroos, to such an extent he had to ban you. So now you're on his list of target regions.
Welcome to the club 😁

It is a noun/adjective, and also a pronoun when used in place of a name. Such as, "What's up, cracker?"

Nice! Embassies established.

In Appreciation, lunch is on us.

I remember when my dear mother referred to "pesto" (before it became a household word) as "green gravy."

I remember my first African. Back in the 1970s. My first Jew. And I assure you, it was the age of innocence, free from stereotypes. They were my friends and I couldn't care less because I didn't know and it didn't make any difference, I was enfatuated with the most beautiful girl in the world and she was black and when you've been around as I have, at sea, alll men are equal, my sister dated a bloke from Turkey and what if I had a half-Turkish nephew or niece, would I love that child any less?

I remember many years ago, my mother told me of an acquaintance of hers that was going to refuse to go to her daughter's wedding because she was marrying a Jew. (I was a teen at the time, and it seemed stupid to me.) My mother was aghast that anyone would not go to her own child's wedding. Later the woman had a change of heart and went, and told my mother that it was the most beautiful wedding she'd ever seen.

I consider myself a blessed man because I approach all stereotypes only from their bright side. I'm the type who would have a great time with, for example, Jewish stereotypes and then have a great time at a Jewish wedding. And then there are people who insist I should go into hate mode when Jewish stereotypes are near by while others insist I should go into hate mode when someone is marrying a Jew. No, thanks. I don't want others' prejudice and I don't want to surrender my stereotypes. Either takes away some of the life's fun and replaces it with hate.

I'm gonna wait until another guy posts to feel awkward.

I suppose any ethnicity, religion, race that is different from one's own will bring on feelings of, perhaps, suspicion, uneasiness, awkwardness. It's like if you wanted your unborn baby to be a boy, but it turns out to be a girl; you are disappointed, and shouldn't feel guilty for that. But you love the baby girl.

One must deal with any of those feelings. But judgment is something different; judgment is what makes people treat other people badly. Accept your feelings, deal with your feelings, but don't take it out on someone else because you feel uneasy; it's not his fault.

Greetings from The Planet X!

It has been a long time since I paid a visit to this highly esteemed region.

As a sign of our respect, please take these official baseball caps from our gift shop.

That's the first time I saw someone get banned from this region. What happened?

Aside from the potty mouthed TG he sent me, you can unsuppress and read his post.
We seem to have attracted some bratty little kids.

Warm greetings from the region of MPIC. May our shared embassy represent our shared friendship.

The poll is driving me nutso. It says "choose wisely," so I chose wisely, but then it also said "you can pick only one," so I picked one. But it says choose wisely. But if I choose wisely, it says pick only one.

Quick! I need an adult beverage or my old friend, Mary Jane!

I can't answer the poll, because my national motto is "No paradoxes allowed."
