The "strength" of Loftegen 3's defenses include a reality warper who can unmake everything with a thought...if, admittedly, she can be bothered to pay attention.

Cause of that people are saying we may soon be heading into a global recession/depression and a complete stockmarket crash. If I were you I'd cash out those stocks and buy gold and silver with the money.

Unfortunately it's in a pre tax account so it would be a large penalty to cash out. I did put 1/3 in low risk bond/cash funds as a buffer so those have been fine. The stocks are what suck. I'll just have to ignore it for now . . .

That it may but actual inclusion of reality warper into War RP is godmodding

With the exception of Tubbius, although we all know that fighting any war against Treadwellia is suicide.

That's why I don't RP much, and never unwillingly.

Marcus, when he began courting Beka:

Peter Hamlin: "You disappoint my daughter, I'll rip your guts out, and feed them to you."

The ceremony: The wedding march, followed by by Beka's father literally putting her hand in Marcus's (he literally gave her away) and said, "I hearby put my daughters hand in yours. She is no longer my daughter, but your wife." That was where the ceremony should have ended.

"You disappoint her, I'll rip your guts out!"

Marcus did not have a comfortable relationship with his father-in-law.

For RP purposes, I accept and assume a continuity between Loftegen 2 and Loftegen 3. Loftegen 2 had better Defense Forces stats than its newish successor state.

That site is kinda outdated. Some options were removed in issues and haven't been removed on the site so the site results are occasionally out of order.

WUR Co. better pick up their slack or they're going to lose a few 'assets'.

Domt you just love it when that happens? My defense stats like to drop by 1% everytime I have a issue that dosent even concern the military at all!!

Loftegen 3 wrote:Lady Zaharra hopes that Lt. Hamlin is granted citizenship in the Empire, and an equivalent rank in it's armed forces. She will not stand in the way of love....

Imperial immigration laws allow for a swift granting of citizenship to Beka Hamlin. All she must do is swear an oath to serve the Imperium. She already speaks sufficient German, which is another requirement for citizenship.

Given her prior experience and officer status, as well as her honourable service record, Beka can expect to receive a higher rank once she is granted citizenship. Probably even higher than Marcus, who is a Zenturio, the lowest junior officer rank. Either of the Legat ranks (LGA2 or LGA1) seem probable.

Do your immigrants maintain a subculture within Leonism or is Avolense culture mandated?

Immigration is still very new to Leonism. We had isolated ourselves from the rest of Lazarus for decades, until 2018. Immigration has only recently, in 2019, been permitted under the new law, linked above. Assimilation to our culture is implicitly expected, although the only legal requirement is learning of the local language and pledging allegiance to the Imperium. Immigrants do not recieve benefits for the first six months in the country and will be deported if they do not pledge allegiance after one year. There are also language tests after six months, one year and two years. After one year, the immigrant will recieve a rank, as do all adult Imperials, and the basic salary (our version of basic income) that goes with it. If everything is satisfactory after two years, at the so-called "final evaluation", immigrants will automatically recieve full citizenship with all rights and duties of an Imperial citizen (including compulsory military service).

OOC: If I remember the very few bits of characterization of Beka's mother, Rita Hamlin, enough she should be more welcoming to her new son-in-law. Let's hope so for Marcus...

Satanic empire

"A Hell of your own making."

That's what he was promised when he shook the Devils hand all those countless years ago. How long had it been now, since Gray had joined the "Rebellion against God"? How many years had he spend inside Hell? The years ticked away, and all the while, Gray never once regretted his decision to sign the Devils book, and join him.

Indeed the Devil had made good on his promise. Gray was now in a Hell of his own making. But if he was ever suppose to feel remorse for his decision, if he was intended to feel cheated or tricked, he simply didn't. Maybe it was a side effect of the deal. Maybe its because he was no longer Human, other than his looks. Whatever the case, Gray thought about how far he had come.

Once he was an average Human. He thought he would live and die under the Church, under God, and never questioned if it was right or not. Never until that night.. But he shouldn't think of that anymore.

Now he was one of Hells prominent leaders, or at least, he liked to think of himself as such. He commanded an Empire here on Earth. He had rallied a legion of Demons that were more then willing to die for him. And he was well on his way to revenge against God.

But for now he was content to sit on his throne and allow his Empire to establish itself. He had waited several lifetimes to get to this point, after all. What were another few years to a Demon like himself?

He looked down onto the expanding city. Demons whipped workers mercilessly as they toyed away at machinery. Several more blocks had been created since his gaze last fell upon his city. Good, let them toil. They are expanding much faster then he expected.

Perhaps soon he should unleash his Demonic horde onto an unsuspecting nation here in Lazarus. He pondered this thought on his way back to his throne.
