Do you want to improve the world?
I don't think it can be done.
The world is sacred.
It can't be improved.
If you tamper with it, you'll ruin it.
If you treat it like an object, you'll lose it.
There is a time for being ahead,
a time for being behind;
a time for being in motion,
a time for being at rest;
a time for being vigorous,
a time for being exhausted;
a time for being safe,
a time for being in danger.
The Master sees things as they are,
without trying to control them.
She lets them go their own way,
and resides at the center of the circle.
Definitely humanity needs life adjustments with nature flow of balance. Rural area property is priority for those who understands importance of that.
When I bought the land and came from city only then I realised how far my habits are from nature flow.
Still living in a city, but all attention is to build life in a country side. Thereby I salute you all who are doing effort trough positive example.

I had noticed how many states struggle with high taxes. May I suggest next time when you will get issue with option where you slash birocracy on the half, please boldly accept the offer.
It basically come to evaluation of the nation consioussnes: "What we learned so far"? By this you will saw how much your nation is really advanced in education, production, environment etc.
I done it already two times with huge drop in tax rate, but not to big nation lifestyle quality drop. It is literaly in my case like you building third raw of house bricks.
Port Myreal, Watkappa, and Outa sanity
Thank you for the advice. In our case high tax rates are necessary for our society. With the 70% tax we pay all basic human needs from education over health care to housing if necessary. This nation makes sure all citizen can exercise their human rights and are treated accordingly.
Whether that's a good thing or not, I do not dare to decide, but I believe it's realistic that such things lead to a high tax rate.

Whoever relies on the Tao in governing men
doesn't try to force issues
or defeat enemies by force of arms.
For every force there is a counterforce.
Violence, even well intentioned,
always rebounds upon oneself.
The Master does his job
and then stops.
He understands that the universe
is forever out of control,
and that trying to dominate events
goes against the current of the Tao.
Because he believes in himself,
he doesn't try to convince others.
Because he is content with himself,
he doesn't need others' approval.
Because he accepts himself,
the whole world accepts him.
(CNN)The Mississippi state legislature on Sunday passed a bill to remove the Confederate emblem from their flag in a historic referendum on the only remaining state flag to feature the Confederate insignia.
The bill will now go to Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican, who has said he would sign it into law.
one may wonder when corporations and governments make changes of this sort: do they do so because they see it as the right thing, or are they just trying to keep up to avoid a backlash to their reputation?
i suspect the easy way to discern the difference is whether they're ahead of the curve, or behind the eight ball.
I just spent a couple hours watching the live debates this afternoon on television. To my understanding the State Senate amended the bill to provide for a ballot initiative in November where Mississippi voters will be able to choose between the old flag or 3 new ones, all of which must have IN GOD WE TRUST on them, designed by a committee of learned persons. Until then, we won't have a flag.
To me the debate and subsequent vote seemed very reminiscent of Eastern Bloc rubber-stamp legislatures. David Jordan from Greenwood's speech seemed like the only one that wasn't scripted/based in meaningless platitudes nonsensically associating the arbitrary and uncaring passage of time with some political direction. None of the speeches really railed against it and it passed through the Senate just about as easily as it did the House.
The only hope I have now is that, God willing, the voters will choose to keep the good old stars and bars come November.
A lot of the talking heads I saw on television were saying that sports/tourism/business had been avoiding Mississippi because of the flag. All of that seems rather ridiculous to me. Unfortunately Mississippi's economic state is not unique & is shared between most Deep South states. It's not about the dern flag! The only people who the flag might dissuade are ignorant Yankees who think they'll get shot on sight or something...
To me, it's all a bit disappointing. They know that most people who want to keep the flag, i.e. not the Yankees and economic elite whose business interests supersede their social interests, are poor, & so they play up the story of economic disadvantage. This was paralleled in the British media in the lead up and aftermath of the Brexit vote. Sadly unemployment and the slow pace of economic development here isn't because Yankees don't like our flag.
