LIBERATION PROPOSALS:
The bottom line is that when Defenders lose in the field of battle they result to cowardice and change the rules of play. I have kept my Region Raider free for 15+ years by keen vigilance to the Game Play throughout the JenGuv World. This has included Puppets and Spies and infiltration of Regions. Such is the way of the Rules which I accepted when I created my Nation on October 28, 2003. If a Region cannot defend itself, too bad! The leadership should have been responsible. These SC Resolutions tilt the balance to Elitist who determine what is a Raid and what is Liberation by manipulating the Rules. It is like playing with a brat who takes away the toys when the outcome goes against his bias. The only security I have in my Region aside from Endorsements is the RIGHT as Delegate to Password my Region against any threat. If this RIGHT is at the whim of the SC then have the game makers remove all password abilities across the board thereby removing this continued farce of hypocrisy.
As such, Mikeswill voted against the World Assembly Resolution "Liberate Syria".

Wow, the title "Pedagogical Freedoms" was... a bad choice for the latest WA proposal. Surely everybody's first association with a title like that is Greek pedagogy? Not exactly in line with modern values, unless everything changed and I didn't notice.

A resolution to promote funding and the development of education and the arts.
Category: Education and Creativity
Area of Effect: Educational
Believing that it ought to promote the right of parents to direct their children's education (rather than hindering it, i.e. by requiring homeschoolers to seek teacher supervision or completely outlawing homeschooling), the General Assembly resolves, with immediate effect, that:
Subject to prior and standing international law, member states and their political subdivisions ("members") must respect, in law and in practice:
the right of parents, carers and guardians ("parents") of children to direct and guarantee, with regard to their sincerely-held moral beliefs, the education of their children, and
the right of children to receive a full-time education which is adequate and appropriate to their age and ability.
Members are strongly urged to respect the right of adults to receive an education as described in Article a(ii).
This Compact must not be interpreted to necessarily require members to fully fund or partially subsidise schools; those judgments are reserved to the individual member states.
This Compact must not be interpreted to forbid members from requiring parents to enrol their children into a school, provided that they have a reasonable belief that those parents have failed to guarantee that their children receive an education as described in Article a(ii).
