"My fellow citizens, terrible actions have befallen us. After weeks of talks between the New sistonian and the Empire of Electorate's governments, it seems that peace is but a front that they show to the world while they hide their blades behind false promises and words. We had decided not to engage in war with our neighbors as it would inevitably endanger citizens of the New sistonian people.
However, our allies have aligned themselves with a country who now threatens them. And as the one they once trusted, has now shown their fangs, they turn to us to step in...yet we did not. We were asked to warn and talk to a nation that our allies held above us...yet we did not. Modern day colonies are being set up around us in the guise of "Protectorates", and when one nation did not fall in line, they turned to us to intervene...yet we did not. Now, our allies who chose not to stand with us are faced with an enemy at their border, and again we did nothing!
But now, we are faced with an even greater threat. The Empire of Electorate has threatened to liberate the state of Kuwait from the New sistonian people. The Empire of Electorate has decided that the sovereign borders of not one, but two, including our friends the Egyptians. They have shown that borders and sovereignty mean nothing!
I now give full authority to the New sistonian armed forces to blockade the Persian Gulf and stop all trade into the area. They also have full authority to protect our borders at all cost and may fire on any nations troops that cross into our borders. If the Empire of Electorate continues to push into the West Bank and into Kuwait, they will be met with a swarm of the best and brightest that New sistonia has to offer.
We do not want war, but if you force us into a corner, we will bite and scratch until it is our enemies that have been pushed into that very corner. For, you cannot blame the dog for biting the one who hits it.
Emperor Charles, if you do not stop your aggressions, may your god save you and your people from your own doing."

In other news, I have enacted Executive Decree 003: "Establishing an Administrative Assistant" as of today, effective immediately. My chosen assistant is New united carolinas, who will help with updating dispatches, design, and the organization/workload of my department.

The Second Primaries have ended.
For the Left Wing Spectrum: Ariana Hampton has won 59.8% of the Spectrum's voters
For the Right Wing Spectrum: Connor Van Dyke has won 58.3% of the Spectrum's voters.
The only candidate for the Non Defined Category is Kurt Mongomery. While the outcome isn't surprising, this is the only time there has been one candidate for the Undefined Category.
Now, these 3 Candidates are competing against each other for the President of The New United Carolinas. As they campaign, the Country begins to prepare for Election season, beginning in November.

Chancellor Goehe addresses the citizens of New Sistonia during an emergency broadcast early in the morning.
"Tonight is a somber night for we have pleaded with those that are close to us, yet it is through the continued hunger of man for bloodshed of his kin and devastation of his brother that we are where we stand today. The Empire of Electorate has invaded Kuwait, and many of our soldiers fell back. Due to this disregard of our warnings, the time has come.
At this time, a formal declaration of war has been sent to the Empire stating that we will not be pushed around. We will invade their occupied territory in Jordan, we will meet them on the West Bank, we will drive them from Kuwait, and we will hit them from the south! The Empire will learn that we are not a people of peace but of war! We will shown not only the Empire, but the world what it means to get in the way of New Sistonia...and that we shall never be pushed around...ever again.
We warned the Emperor what would happen, and now judgement day is upon you. You will not hear the trumpets of the lord, but the march of our armies, our jets will blacken the sky to where neither sun nor moon shall shine. For your religion cannot save you from what you did yourself. We will not sit quietly, we will not stand on the sidelines.

Hello New West Indies friends:
I wanted to let you all know that I’ve had so much fun participating in the region and seeing it develop over these past few months that I’ve been apart of it.
Sadly, and happily, I will be slowly being less active as August approaches. I have been selected to join ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Course). That’s happening in August.
So, as these last few months come and go I would like to thank everyone for the bonds we’ve shared and the stories that we’ve told.
While I will still be here for the next few month, I will slowly fade away (activity wise). Will I cease to exist, or will I be able to keep the country alive is unknown. But, I want to thank everyone for making the New West Indies region the best that there is!
