"Not new here, but hello." The Bat Pony replies as he hangs some info on the bulletin board, looking over at you. "However I haven't seen much of you around here. Who are you?" He asks.

Bigpipstan - The Bat Pony mayor turns around to see who else was there. "Sorry, didn't see you there." He replied. "Alicorn traveler? I don't think travelers ran their own nations but if you can juggle the responsability while doing your own thing more power to you." He said with a shrug. "But I haven't heard of you either. . ." Hex said as he pulled out the map for the Pony Land Region. "Where do you reside and what is it's name?" Hex asked the Alicorn.
Bigpipstan is alongside Albion river, it's coast is at Derphoof sea.
- Bigpipstan - Hex took a few moments to scan the map, looking over it. "Ah I see. You must be newer territory? I don't see you here at all." Hex said as he flipped the map around to show the Alicorn, pointing his hoove at where they might approximately be located. "Here, take my pen and show me where you are. It's been a few years since we've had an official charter redo the map so I do my best to keep it up to date." Hex added.

- Bigpipstan - Hex folds the map up, moving his black and purple scarf over so he can open his carrier satchel. He slides the map inside, closing it and looking back at Bigpip. "Nice to meet you Bigpip. I'm Hex Valentine, the Bat Pony Mayor of Lunaray." He holds out a hoove to shake. "And thank you for updating my map. It's easier to keep open and potential trade lines easier to keep in touch with if the data is correct."
I Bigpip will be holding a small feast today, in my small floating palace in my capital of Bigpip's landing. Leaders and aristocrats are invited so we can improve our relations.
For what it's worth, as a longtime member of the NS Sports community with my main nation, I'd really appreciate if you all would support the current SC resolution to Commend Audioslavia. He's done a ton to help our community over the years, and is absolutely deserving of a commendation in my opinion.

Sorry, we'll turn the music down a bit.
I was just thinking, since lot of us are using Bits and lets say that Bits are like 50% copper and 50% gold(so they would not be too heavy) , would that mean that we made gold totaly worthless?
The show never gave any indication what bits are made of. Could be pure gold, gold alloy, or a cheap alloy like brass that only superficially resembles gold. I do get the impression that gold and gemstones are more abundant in Equestria than on Earth, though not to the point of being "worthless". Especially when there's an entire species that thinks gems make for good snacks, which helps take excess supply out of circulation :)
I was asking that question because i was thinking if ponies need to feel that their currency has 'actual value'. because if they do then i would have to start making bits from other metals, since they would have more value.

I don't think bits would be pure gold; they may or may not have some gold content but I think they'd be closer to modern coins. Coins in the victorian or early 20th century era had mostly (ceremonial things like Krugerrands aside) moved away from being actual gold.
Now the gold standard, that's another question.
Sup fellow mlp fans, am not a very big fan of the series but I watched it when I was young and I liked it. My fav mlp would be applejack cause I find her cool and memorable, unlike the others.
Huh, has it already been long enough that people are starting to talk about the show as "when I was young"?
