Eutania’s freedoms for each section do not fit the standards of a Civil Rights Lovefest. I thought this meant that they were set as one thing forever. I still do not understand the situation at all. I don’t think I can be helped, so I wish to classify myself as a failure.

Every night they pray "Please God, I want to be a real boy."

I know that this is a week-old post, and I don't want anyone to think I don't have a sense of humour, but I'm not sure that I appreciate spam messages on the board with this sort of rubbish. I'd love to have a more active community here, but similarly I'd rather we had meaningful conversations rather than spam or ill-considered jokes. Be friendly, by all means, but think about what you're actually writing before you lodge your message.

Can I be inducted into the ISSP?

Worry not, it's an unclear system. The important bits to remember are:
1: Government categories are not static
2: The measures which construe the Government Categories are not publicly viewable
All we can see are crude analogues of the backend categorization system.

Does anyone want me to write a report about them?

I'd volunteer

Make it to the Top 10 in defense forces in Scandinavia, and you can be, or anyone else who meets that criteria.

Guys this guy tried saying the Nordic countries are free markets and I tried telling him how Sweden liberalized their markets in the 1990s and that caused a bunch of problems. Can anyone help me find a source?

You're looking for the Swedish Banking Crisis. There's a decent contemporary write up by the Oxford Review of Economic Policy over here:

https://academic.oup.com/oxrep/article-abstract/15/3/80/381439

and a good analysis of their monetary reaction here:

http://archive.riksbank.se/Documents/Rapporter/%C3%96vrigt/utvardering_penningpolitik_1995_2005_eng.pdf

If you don't have access to the first we uploaded the PDF here [Removed]
That link will be active for a week.

Muspellheim, I can make you a Scandinavian cross flag if you’d like.

I made you one none the less. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/630874713408667661/681429791865700372/image0.jpg

Is this a problem?

It is nation spamming, which can be quite annoying sometimes. 2-3 per person should be enough if you want multiple. Try not to make exact copies either. This is a humble request, not an order. Welcome to Scandinavia!

Why are we shutting down the Central Eastern Europe embassy?

Coetha wrote:Why are we shutting down the Central Eastern Europe embassy?

The Black Hawks used Reestan yarkaytopia to successfully raid Central Eastern Europe. The region has been sacked; all embassies closed (except to The Black Hawks), all tags removed (except invader), factbook and flag changed to reflect it's new status.

I’ve climbed to 19th in defence forces. I might make it soon!

We have represented Scandinavia on the global stage at the WA for over 2 years now and we feel it's time we chose someone new to take up this position. Our endorsement goes to Ioavollr. They have done a tremendous amount of work for the region, and we believe they will faithfully represent us at the WA.

Congrats Ioavollr!

Congratulations Ioavollr on becoming the new delegate of Scandinavia!

We in Ioavollr humbly thank Westinridge for the endorsement and are honored by their abdication of the regional delegacy. We will attempt to provide as fine a representation as Westinridge has for the last 900 days, and for the 250+ days that nation served in ages past. We strive to represent the nation as best we can and will listen to any input and opinion from any nation, either on the RMB or via telegram. As to WA specific business, we vote with a majority of WA nations on issues, or via independent choice should no opinion be expressed.

Thanks again, Westinridge. We look forward to your future delegacy, should you have another turn at the wheel.

I’m just surprised this name wasn’t taken ^_^

We in Ejyafjallajokull extend our heartiest congratulations to our friends in Ioavollr, and express great satisfaction at their promotion. We hope that their tenure may be marked by an increase in understanding between the nations of Scandinavia, especially in matters relating to the World Assembly, and that regional unity may be enhanced further by both an increase in collective discussion of international matters as well as a heightened level of regional democratic values and understanding.
