Communism, in the hands of idealists and supported by the consensus of all involved parties, creates utopias where everyone is free and equal. Unfortunately, not everyone is altruistic to a fault, especially not a human.

Besides, freedom is a relative concept, after all, should the mother have the right to choose whether to host a life, or should that living being be allowed to exist? Should the worker have the right to receive enough to feed his family, or should the green-eyed businessman be allowed to make as much as he can? Should everyone have the right to defend themselves, or should they be allowed to live free from the fear of others? When is Red Fleet Week ending again? 4 days? Okay, I’ll try not to kill anything, or glass a planet until then.

Who assigned my fleet to patrol this end of the universe again? Especially on Red Fleet Week? Because I swear to the Stars that it’s hard to be nice and to promote egalitarian ideals when say, some territorial, trigger-happy fossil refuses to listen to any opinion rather than its own.

I have not promoted Communism as a practical ideology, but sure label it as “Bolshie Propaganda”, you trigger-happy, narrow-minded crustacean.

For humans, Capitalism works better than Socialism, while Communism is impossible, but that’s only because humans are reluctant to pool resources together for a cause greater than them, which could be the construction of a military fit for the superior race, or the equal distribution of resources for everyone.

We have tried Communism, and it works, in a society where all are willing to put the community before self, and that is definitely not a society that humans can build. In addition, it takes a lot of...restructuring of the society.
