What do you think of my new bill idea? I just had a thought about it, however I don’t know if it is feasible or not. Any feedback is welcome, and please remember that this is only a first draft, and really a barebones idea. If you do somehow want to sponsor then please do, however I don’t think it is ready to go into a docket yet.

My problem is the cabinet granting the powers. I feel like the legislature should have to do that. I just don't want this to be a version of the US Patriot Act

Looks good, could help in some difficult situations that are all too common in these large regions. I'm just worried that this could be abused if a power-hungry PM gets elected with a cabinet that will support them in their quest for power, then asks for these powers. I wonder who might do that *looks at Trump declaring emergencies for no reason*. Maybe congress could organize a vote to override the decision if it is seen to be unjust, but that may be complicated to implement.

So, I was thinking back to when I first found NationStates. I found it when one of the youtubers I watched at the time posted something on their community tab about it. I clicked on it, got super confused, and left it for a couple of weeks. When I came back, I started to understand it and get into it more, and now here I am today, a Senator!
So, finnally getting to my point, I was wondering how you guys found NationStates? I just thought it would be an interesting topic of discussion.
