Parliament has voted against a Parliamentary investigation into the Baltic nrc scandal. With Prime Minister Jerry Manion making his case to the party that it was in their best interest to vote against an investigation as it could allow opposition leaders to destabilize the government. Interestingly the Industry Party a party that has not shied away from defending Baltic nrc abstained from voting in fact party leader David Ikloj did not attend Parliament and it is unclear what he is up to. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Manuel Calaba has indicated that he might jumpstart the investigation but so far his office has not released a statement. More on this developing story coming up.
