== Londonnian Conglomerate ==

The unexpected power and ferocity of Grossvietnam troops surprised the mishmash Conglomerate troops. Worse with the Grossvietnamese and USSA attacked en-mass and Great Tea Royal forces fell back to their defensive line the Conglomerate ground forces were left alone. Thus despite offering notable resistant, for mishmash groups of mercenaries at least, Conglomerate units were either forced back out broke and rout straight away. Lesser companies of Fulminata Condottieri and pirates warbands of Crimson Flag Syndicate, pummeled by enemies, gradually fell back even before the general retreat was given out. The only saving grace for the Conglomerate forces were their... retreating skill, being a combination of small units who prefer hit and run skirmishes these troops were rather keen to know when they should run away. However not all Conglomerate ground troops fled in panic, more renowned Condottieri companies and crack troops of Aragawa Security stood their ground and acted as rear guard for the routing troops before they themselves pulled back orderly. Strangely unlike expected the Conglomerate troops didn't surrender, the reason for it was simple, personnel who successfully fell back or even get KIA would still be pay or gain insurance yet those who surrendered would not and surrendering was widely considered as violating contracts thus their surviving families or any relating organizations would had to pay for it. As they fell back to rejoin with their Tea Empire allies the Conglomerate troops had also not forgotten to quickly searched and dragged along any Tea Empire people along.

However retreating back to the Tea Empire's new defensive line was not the only strategy of the Conglomerate ground command. With the portals remain completely intact and the Tea Empire managed to establish the new defensive line, another Conglomerate's reinforcement moved in from the portal. The new reinforcement was difference than the first wave, they were far more heavily armed and discipline. Among them were heavy powered armor Aragawa Security battalions, encased in heavy powered armor and armed to the teeth with laser cannon, heavy rocket assisted self-guiding gatling cannons, multi-role missiles as well as heavy machinegun each would be equal to a light tank themselves and would present a literal wall of graphene and fire again advancing Grossvietnam and USSA troops, last but not less these powerful troops were all equipped with jet pack to increase their mobility. Then there were heavy mechanized Condottieri companies equipped with large amount of heavy infantry weapons, they were directed to occupy any favorable positions before providing fire support for the Aragawa powered armor troops. Alongside them also came thousands platoons of Fuko Zaibatsu Psy Ronins, taking the appearance of archaic samurais these terrify psychic warriors could deflect incoming attacks, cripple morale with nightmarish images or heal wounds and launching energy bolts at hostile forces with their swords or bows. Lastly to defend themselves again inevitable bombing and to counter them mobile shields vehicles, self-propelled artilleries and dozens of long range anti-air units were also brought up to booster the defense. All of these new troops along with the retreating first wave and the remaining Great Tea Empire forces would man the defensive line and expected to do so for a long times.

As the ground troops moved in and began to furiously firing at any advancing enemies the supporting Conglomerate interceptors made their present known. Forming into small detachment the Conglomerate interceptors would swoop in and fired at incoming Grossvietnam air targets using precise long range missiles before quickly retreating back to their own anti-air cover. With help from Great Tea Empire these interceptors could be refuel and later rearmed at their remaining airports. Due to their robust and multirole design these fast Conglomerate aircraft could accept most types of fuels as well as be equip with most weapons including some Great Tea Empire's own munitions.

Yet despite the ferocity and bitterness of the planetary battle it was not, according to the Conglomerate, the decisive factor of the war. The decisive factor was the space battle around the planet.

In space the arrival of the insane number of Grossvietnam warships was a surprised for the Conglomerate fleet in the system. Thus for a moment the fleet were paralyzed, moment ago they were enjoying numerous superiority and clearly gaining the upper hand yet one moment later the enemy had tossed one million warships right into their face. In just a moment their fleet of 33 000 ships were 33 times outnumbered by the enemy. Yet the confusion quickly ended as the Conglomerate's sensors alarmed the crews about incoming attacks, and these attacks re-materialized right at the edge of their 3 AU interdiction fields. It was clearly a mass FTL missile attack and the only thing which saved the entire fleet from total annihilation, or more exactly giving them some more living times, was their blanket interdiction field which forced any and all FTL travelling back to below the speed of light. Point defenses, bomb pumped lasers, interceptor missiles, sand casters and snubcrafts were all utilized again the innumerous missiles. Yet none was enough, the enemy's missiles were simply too many to be stop mid-flight and despite being able to shoot down large amount of them many more still managed to reach the ships themselves, first shields flared brightly as missiles slammed into them until the shields failed, then the massive missiles storm hit and overwhelmed the ship's armors. And finally ships either explored or broke apart. Onboard the dying Conglomerate ships chaos ensured as ship's crews desperately trying to either run away or saving their ships. Casualty and damage was extremely high for the Conglomerate fleet as the missile attack had effectively destroyed nearly ten thousands ships of all kinds and nearly haft of the surviving ships suffered various damages, most was heavy. Fortunately due to the range between the two fleet remained very large, more than 20 AU preciously, thus the following laser attack of the Grossvietnam ships caused no effect to the reeling Conglomerate fleet.

Yet while the Conglomerate vanguard and 1st wave fleet was caught surprise and had suffered huge damage. The even had not been entirely unexpected by some of the high ranking among the directors and managers. The galaxy after all was a hash place and unpredictable thus in order to not only survive but also make profit from it, one must think about more drastic events sometimes. Beside the fact that the Conglomerate was fighting an unknown interdimension invaders had been concerned enough for most of the manager board members to watch it directly from their many hideouts. Thus when the arrival of the huge Grossvietnam fleet became known several keys managers had quickly decided that decisive action must be taken in order to turn the table. The Conglomerate will retaliate with heavy hand.

Back to fleet the situation was deteriorating further as several panicked ships began to show sight of wanting to run, beside the numerous snubcrafts and lifepods released by the death ships began to cause problem as they trying to land on the remaining ships. Also finally the Grossvietnamese had begun to pay attention to the cybernetic viruses which praying them unopposed, with the activation of anti-viruses program among their system, the Conglomerate's cybernetic viruses would no longer be able to roam and attack freely. Instead they had to combat these anti-virus programs and while the viruses was highly advance they would likely be push back. With such situation, fleet director Edward Sparrow would had ordered the entire fleet to flee if not for a direct order straight from the manager board that he would not be allow to retreat and the system wide interdiction field must be maintain no matter the cost. The last words of the message however were "reinforcement is coming."

And indeed just a few minutes after the Conglomerate flagship received the message the space again explored and the space battle entered a new far bloodier phase.

For reasons unknown to the Conglomerate the Grossvietnam invaders had up until that moment did not put up any interdiction field despite having suffered numerous casualties. And the Conglomerate would again exploit this particular failing. Ten thousands upon ten thousands of wormholes broke real space apart right among the Grossvietnam horde of ships and from each of them came a warship, hundred thousands of them and almost all of them were the Joon Chaebol's super dreadnoughts. These were the same kind of ship fleet director Edward Sparrow was sitting and each one of these 60km long weapon blitzing monsters would very possibly dwarfed the size of Grossvietname's largest ships which possibly only 2 km long. Yet that was not all, as the Joon Chaebol ships emerged from wormhole slightly smaller and sleeker ships mysteriously re-materialized beside them. These sleek ships belong to the Fuko Zaibatsu another subsidiary of Londonnian Conglomerate and specialize in everything relate to psychic power, like their Joon Chaebol counterpart the Fuko Zaibatsu had deployed primarily heavy dreadnought into the fight yet unlike them, Fuko Zaibatsu heavy dreadnought were smaller only standing at 40 km. Yet Joon Chaebol and Fuko Zaibatsu were not the only new arrivers, several thousand Conglomerate ships made up of the rest of the subsidiaries and as well as ships of the Wessenzen Empire would also arrive, they would move out to reinforce and enlarge the interdiction field further in order to prevent any FTL arrival at the system. And finally there were a few hundred ships from the Domingo Bandeirantes and the Drakkar Saga as well and these ships entered real space near or right on top of Mirror Earth. Thus as quick as the Grossvietnam put a million ships on the table the Londonnian Conglomerate had did the same and even excelled them. In just an eye's blink a million and a half of Conglomerate ships, almost all of them super dreadnought or heavy dreadnought had entered the field, fully armed and shielded. Yet unlike their Grossvietnam enemy the Conglomerate ships would all activated their interdiction field which no doubt covered the entire area of space and the whole Mirror Earth itself. From that point on any type of FTL movement would become impossible. That also mean both combatant were to be trap in the system, there would be no escape, only fight to the death.

Thus the epic onslaught began. Having given the luxury of being able to choose their arriving course and position by their enemy the Grossvietnam, the huge Conglomerate ships would very likely get the upper hand in the firefight. Arrived right at the middle of Grossvietnam's ships the Conglomerate ships would all begun to unleash their colossal arsenals toward any enemy ships nearest to them. Weapons ranging from point defense laser up to huge quad anti-ship turrets would be utilize, missiles as small as the size of a snubcraft up to km long missiles targeted the enemy ships, ultra-violet laser cannon, plasma cannon, rail guns, huge bolts and lightning of pure destruction psychic energy, everything were to be throw at hostile targets. And that was not all, every single snubcrafts were to be threw into the battle as well, thanks for their massive size each of the large Conglomerate ships were capable of releasing several thousands of snubcrafts alone, these snubcrafts would either serve as mobile point defense or directly attacking the vulnerable part of enemy ships. Yet physical battle was not the only battlefield. Electronic warfare in the form of communication jamming, decoy drones and viruses assault were all utilized by the Joon Chaebol ships while the psionic lightning coated Fuko Zaibatsu ships blurred as they unleashing waves of psionic blasts which not only capable of causing terrific destruction but also cause living being nearby to hear and seen mysterious yet terrific moral crippling visions. The Joon Chaebol ships however were not affected much by staying near the Fuko Zaibatsu psionic dreadnought thanks to no less part of the crews being literally hooked into the ships and have their personality mangle with the ship's own AIs. Also it should be note that the entire battle between the Grossvietnam fleet and the Conglomerate dreadnought armada were being fight at almost pointblank range thus dodging would be unlikely at best and impossible at worse. Thus the space slaughter would continue until one side was death.

As the giant space battle raged the ships of Domingo Bandeirantes and Drakkar Saga which emerged nearest to the planet crept toward it and stationed themselves high above the ground battlefield below. Then they began to release their cargos. Huge amount of drop pods began to slam down all across the planetary battlefield in a few waves, no doubt many would be shoot down by the Grossvietnam or USSA but many more would be able to reach the ground ideally all among the Grossvietnam positions. The first waves would contain entirely of automated fire pod, each possesses 6 heavy laser gatling guns and 48 multi-roles missiles, all these weapons would be unleashed toward any hostile targets within range to either destroy or weaken them. The second and third drop pods waves however contained heavily armed and armored robot armed with heavy weapons. These robots would followed up and slaughter any remaining enemies. As the drop pods were being launch thousands of snubcrafts would accompany them to provide both escort and ground support. Not only the Grossvietnam fleet but also their ground forces would found themselves beset on all sides and consume by the battle.

While the battle was on the way the Conglomerate had also begun to transfer necessary information for their allies namely the Great Tea Empire so they would be able to utilize their assets in fullest.

Impossibly thick cobwebs adorn the walls, most having been perforated as if by a falling body.

Oh, I forgot to do something. The 2nd fleet, a much smaller fleet with only 6 task forces, 2 DNAQs, 2 dedicated AAA, and 3 escort carrier groups, escort the naval assault forces near Greater Felter, who are stationed there on standby for further orders.

The cobwebs get thicker and thicker as he goes; after about fifteen minutes of continuous descent they're too dense to push through easily. The light still reveals no bottom, just an endless fog of webs. Dante could swear he catches a glimpse of movement through it, though.
