This sounds sexist! :p
Considering orange was originally called Geoluhread, literally translated to yellow-red, it was a lot more original then copying a fruits name
Shavara and La Xinga
I know it was called yellow-red. And I think yellow-red is quite possibly the worst thing I’ve ever heard.
I suggest you not go into that rabbit hole. Things get a lot, lot worse.
Shavara and DarKspawnerreich
Like Green-Yellow

Finally getting into making my fact book for my forts, completely disregarding my navy.
Hallucinogenic Windsor noises
DarKspawnerreich and The western sun syndicate
Or the moon. It's on the scale of calling earth "planet".
Shavara and DarKspawnerreich
You know, because the Moon is
1) a moon
2) the first observed and recognized moon
Earth isn’t the term for “planet” because it wasn’t recognized as a planet before Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, etc. It’s why earth is the term for “soil” instead.
Plazland and Shavara
Ademarus vult?

On another note, new flag
ADEMARUS VULT, BOTHER! WE SHALL PURGE THE HEATHEN, THE HERETIC, AND THE TRAITOROUS XENOS ALIKE!
Yea yea yea, but it still irks me when I think about it.
Also, I was talking about the phrasing , not the actual meaning of earth. Earth is considered a planet, such as the moon is considered a moon. If you want literal translations, then look at Lake Chad - AKA Lake Lake.
Shavara and DarKspawnerreich
Lake Chad, a lake so Chad that it defeats the virgin islands.
Honestly, I just want to know how to pronounce "Adëlæm."
The death syndicate, Federal republic of hetacia, DarKspawnerreich, and Technocratic tagalog
Right, because of cross-language confusion. This won’t really affect anyone except for a very few population of bilinguals and the people who don’t like inconsistent etymology.
Face it, this stuff is going to happen when developing a language, and certainly when multiple languages interact.
Shavara and DarKspawnerreich

Oh I thought you were Alger
Nvm, you’re good
Howdy folks I’m in the market to sell stuff as long as I see buyers.
I don't know how ë is pronounced, but æ is usually just a longer A.
So presumably "Ad(ë)l-aam)
Eh, what language are you trying to resemble?
Pakitsk and Shavara
Depends what are you and your people into buying.
