  The human race of Altusians, named after the Altusian Empire, which means the empire of greater heightss, are original, majority and dominant settlers of what's today the Republic of San Sierra. They share ancestry of settlers mainly from the Natin settlers of the Apimagnus Empire, but also mix with ancestors that are Germanic, who have come as conquerors (Danelaw Scandinavians) and immigrants (Ostarians); and Unistani humans, who have come as merchants and adventurers. Their population numbers are more than 710 Million of them, settling all over the country. Religiously, majority of them are Sanquis Catholics.

  The very first "Altusian" nation though, was the Kingdom of Sanctmunitis, a Natin Kingdom founded in the middle of the war against Germanic conquerors. After two defensive victories against Germanics, they named themselves 'Reconquerors', as they conquered Germanic territories previously owned by the Apimagnum Empire or the "Ancient Empire". With their Altius Imperium, during their first dynasty, have thrived in their conquest of a demi-human emirate that was founded by settlers with merchant ancestry, their moral enemies of Germanic Scandinavians and Kingdoms that were Natin holdouts of Apimagnus in northern lands. Most of the conquest involved ethnic cleansing and religious inquisitions in their conquered lands.

  Their modern day linguistics, although mainly from Natin (Latin), were influenced by Germanics and Unistani adventurers as well. Their language's name has been changed after the foundation of the Altusian Empire as well, with it being 'Sanctish'. Today, even though the country is now named San Sierra after a saint, the ethnic group is still called Altusians, in their language, Altusos. However, they call themselves San Sierrans as well.

  Germanics, mostly from Ostaria and some from Scandinavia, are the largest minority group in the Republic of San Sierra, settling mostly in the state of Archada, coasts of Maravillón, Santa Defensa, some border towns between San Sierra and Danelaw Scandinavia, Nuevo Vivatán and Gran Sagrado.

  Those with Scandinavian ancestry, they have once ruled almost all of modern day San Sierra by conquering the Ancient Empire of Apimagnus and massacring their people, replacing them with themselves. Years later, they have been pushed back for centuries to come. After the modern Sierran-Dane war, most Danes have been expelled and deported from annexed territories by an ethnic nationalist policy enacted by the Hispanic-led San Sierran government. Those who have managed to stay in those territories are considered a very small minority in the country, with their majority nation bordering them. Their modern religion are Christianity of Germanium-Tempel, most likely a protestant religion.

  Those with Ostarian ancestry are the most common Germanics in San Sierra, they had no history of ruling San Sierran lands politically, but had tons of history of immigration into the country. Unlike Danes, Ostarians were welcomed in open arms by native Hispanics since the Third Dynasty of the Empire of Hispania has been established, accepting these immigrants. Despite the Empire of Hispania being Sanquis Catholic, majority of Ostarian immigrants were protestant Christians, with the reason being allowed is the Law of Religious Tolerance that was added in the Hispanic Constitution after the abolishment of the Holy Office. During the San Sierran revolution, most Ostarians were loyal to the Hispanic monarchy according to the historians who have written events of the crisis, while very few of them were loyal to republican rebel forces. The revolution was not the main reason why Ostarians are the largest minority, but it is a minor reason, due to volunteers from Osterreich coming to support the Royal Dynastic Army of Hispania to fight against rebel forces.

  Both Ostarians and Danes speak different languages, but those two languages share the same Germanic family.

  Lerasians are an ethnic group of people who have been fleeing from the now collapsed Lerasian Empire. Almost all who have fled the Lerasian areas have moved to the Republic of San Sierra, especially to the State of Santa Defensa. Not only have they fled from the empire's collapse, they have also escaped from the tyrannic dictatorship of what's today Arkanthyne since the Lerasian capital of Dolorem is controlled by them.

  Lerasians are mixes of Germanic Scandinavians, Kampfians and San Sierran Hispanics. They make up a small minority in the country of San Sierra. When immigration was happening, some former politicians of the empire were granted to being politicians of few Lerasian majority municipalities.

  The Algerstonese are an ethnic group originating from San Sierra's neighboring country, Algerstonia. They reside in what's today West Algerstonia, the only State in San Sierra to not have San Sierran Hispanics as a majority.

  Because of them being majority in West Algerstonia and because they are living in their cultural lands, the San Sierran government has given the state more autonomy.

Demi-Humans:

  The neko race, which are humans but with personalities, ears and tails of a cat, are the first Demi-human race to ever settle in the areas of San Sierra, first coming as merchants along with Unistani human merchants and adventurers. They have only one majority town of their own, but the areas they mostly live in are the northwest of Guardana, northeast of Santa Lucía and south of Maravillón. In San Sierra since the arrival of Unistani Merchants, nekos are named "Alcatus".

  Years after first being settled in the 900s at areas of frontlines between Sanctmunitis and Germanic Kingdoms, their emirate was established, named The Emirate of Annayad and their religion of Nabua. The establishment was set in 948, and at the same year, they have started a series of conquest of land and territory owned by exhausted forces of Germanic Kingdoms and the Kingdom of Sanctmunitis. The Emirate, although originally human, has become a Demi-Human majority nation in the medieval ages, with most of those demi-humans being alcatuses. In 1267, the Emirate has shrunken and been conquered by the Empire of Hispania, which was the Kingdom of Sanctmunitis, but evolved. The Nabua alcatuses though, were influencing the Hispanic language due to settling in lands recently annexed by the said empire. The Nabua alcatuses, during the Sanquis Inquisition, were one of the most affected victim groups in the Catholic inquisition launched by the Empire of Hispania and the Second Dynasty.

  In the Third Dynasty of the Empire of Hispania, alcatuses settling in the lands were slowly being given equal rights by both the monarch and constitution of the empire, and were even given rights to practice their own religion. The religion of Nabua was rarely even practiced anymore due to the previous Inquisition that was launched. Everything changed for them after the 1916 San Sierran revolution, with a new revolutionary government being established, human supremacist policies were officially voted by the new parliament as well, due to the Republican ideas being human supremacist. These human supremacist policies would last for more than a century until 2029, where the San Sierran government has voted to repeal it and give equal rights to non-human and demi-human species and citizenship to them as well.

  The language they speak are the same as Hispanics, due to their native language becoming extinct and so do their religion. Most of them practice Sanquis Catholicism, while some of them are irreligious and atheist.
