It's alright, I'll keep the ball rolling in the next post.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs sits with the Joint Chiefs of the KUSAF. They've called him here for one question. They've temporarily halted troop transports to the Federation, which would set back expeditionary forces by a week, for an important question.
Chief of the KUSAF: Let's get this straight, minister. Does the Kurikian Federation even want our help? Do the Kurikian people ask for our support? We are about to send half a million troops, sailors, airmen, and officers across the sea, and we'll be facing rthe greatest logistical disaster if we send them there only to be kicked out or pushed out to the port cities, not to mention we'll be wasting our emergency funds.
(Kurikia, this is your issue.)
FINALLY, SOMEONE ELSE CURSED WITH THIS KNOWLEDGE
Shavara, Restoration of Eastern Kaiserreich, Karatol-Advenra, and Brethren
"I'm sure you think you will." Izeval turned around and gazed at his throne, deep in thought. "But, this must be done my way." He stated.

The island of Arcadia is typically a nice place with nice people.
Typically.
The Duchy or Ram, located in the southwest of the Zofian Kingdom is nicer than most of the rest of the island on a normal day. The citizens are treated well, the land is fertile and the great winery on the coastline produces the finest wine on the island.
Unfortunately, there has not been a normal day since the Earth Mother's gift died out centuries ago.
The land grows crops poorly, too dried out to sustain them. With no local grapes to keep it running, the great winery has not produced wine in decades. And while the Duke of Ram is a kind man, he has not visited his domain for years, leaving an opportunity for pirates and raiders to run rampant against the ill equipped local militas.
Scenery though, does not change quickly, and the beaches where the dragon has landed is still one of the nicest locations on the island.
*Grabs by the throat*

There is.
"We only want to . . . to be kind about it. To rip out the Mark by its roots (and destroy it) and speak into the remnants of his poor shattered soul, to let him see he's home again and need not be afraid. And then, believe me, we will wipe him from existence like Triraxus did to Rhiannon." Zerachiel sighs. "We understand the necessity of that soul's destruction. We will carry it out. All we want is for the soul to perish gently, with peace, and unchained."
Moss flops happily into the sand and --
Something's wrong. It's evident in the sand, the air, the water, the telepathic feeling of the place.
The dragon groans, climbs to his feet again, and goes in search of the people who are in such distress. 'I just wanted sand baths,' he thinks dolefully.
oookay
Izeval glanced back at him for a moment. "None of them would have had to die." The thunder sharply cracked outside the tower. "Die..." He repeated to himself quietly, before continuing the conversation. "It's not their fault what has happened. But, the roots have been infested. My Knight must be the one who ends it."
Zerachiel meets his eyes steadily. "Why?"
"It's better you do not know.." He takes a seat on his throne once again. "Go back to your people. Enjoy your heavens, and the light you provide them. It's better to exist in light, than dwell in the dark."
