Tsarina Capital Quarter Two Production Report
Tsarina capital has had another extraordinary quarter across our mines in the San Carlos Islands and are well on track to meeting our 2020 business year goals of producing 3.0 tonnes of gold and 90.0 tonnes of silver. Before we list our production numbers in this report, the following notes must be added.
1. ₽50,000,000 has been invested into research and development of a deep seabed mining procedure. The San Carlos Islands continental shelf under our Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) is vast as well as littered with precious metals according to a report from Saint Petersburg College researchers.

ICP passes 'National Security Act', active August 10th
The Imperial Conservative Party, with a supermajority in the National Assembly, passed the 'National Security Act' to "...strengthen the Korean nation among the tempests of the world and to protect hardworking, law abiding Koreans from internal and external violence..." Crimes of subversion, terrorism and collusion with foreign forces are punishable by public or closed execution. Damaging public transport facilities is considered terrorism. Those found guilty, along with the families, will not be allowed to stand for public office. Companies can be fined and be dismantled if convicted under the law. Some trials will be heard behind closed doors. People suspected of breaking the law can be wire-tapped and put under surveillance. Management of foreign non-governmental organisations and news agencies will be strengthened. Reeducation centers will house those "...holding malicious beliefs and ideologies, defaming the government or its members, or other acts that may harm the safety and well-being of the public..." The law will also apply to non-permanent residents and foreigners, but said persons will be relocated to reeducation camps before permanent extradition to their country of origin. Domestic and foreign media will undergo screening by a censorship board, any and all political content will be censored. If the work is excessively malicious, the board will not allow its distribution.
This unexpected passing of the act coincides with the arrest of ~30 opposition congressmen by the OCIA (Officiary Corruption Investigation Agency) and the house arrest of all opposition congressmen. The main contents of the act is as the following.
Protests have broken out in the three major cities of Junggyong, Donggyong and Seorabeol. Gendarme personnel have been dispatched and are making attempts to disperse the crowd. As night comes the protesters hold candlelit vigils in squares across the country.

North of Freemont
At one particularly large plantation, one tribal woman picks cotton, her hands bleeding. She slows down, and a Sequoyan overseer walks over and yells at her to continue working, or she will lose her job. She works through tears as she picks cotton into a barrel under the hot sun. Suddenly, the overseer's head explodes. Moving in at high speed on horseback in the distance are 12 men, dressed in black jeans and button up shirts, with lever-action rifles and revolvers outstretched. They ride into the field. Four more overseers approach them, with guns outstretched. One of the men on horseback speaks.
"We are the Deseret Rangers! We have orders from Admiral William Adama to shut this plantation down and place it under the control of the State. This is new policy released under Executive Order 66. Any plantation not complying with the laws under the Treaty of Freemont will be nationalized indefinitely. Surrender your arms and submit to arrest."
The overseers growl and one raises his rifle. In an instant, all four are shot dead by a ranger who quick-drew his revolver and fired 6 shots from his hip. The tribal woman looks up at the rangers. One of them speaks.
"Ma'am, you are emancipated under the Treaty of Freemont. You are now a free person. A government caravan will be along in around 2 hours to take you and your people into Freemont, where you can obtain passage back to Jehova, or to any city in Sequoyah. We will post two Rangers here to protect you until the caravan arrives."
2 of the Rangers pull their horses aside, while the rest gallop off towards Freemont to obtain tickets back to Nellis Air Force Base.
The Payroll Train
The crew boards Union Railroad Train #23, designated for running payroll to the Union Railroad Workers. The train leaves under heavy guard, with 40 armed mercenaries guarding the train with new Browning bolt-action rifles. The train takes off, with a dining car reserved for the documentary crew.

Ketchikan
Despite being the capital, Ketchikan was a modest city; 20 times smaller than Saint Petersburg, 10 times smaller than San Carlos City; hell, Tula was bigger... The bus rounded a traffic circle and then pulled into the transit station sitting in the heart of the Capital city. Yuri stepped off the bus and pulled out his phone to map where the Gagium embassy was. "Five blocks." He noted. He put down the phone and walked in that direction.
As he rounded a corner he reached the embassy. It looked like any other in the nation, but it had a deep secret. It was the headquarters of child sex trafficking in the San Carlos Islands. Disgusted at this fact, Yuri opened the door and walked in and proceeded towards a counter reserved for San Carlos citizens.

An embassy staffer who could almost be mistaken for a child welcomed Yuri and asked him what he needed.
"I called in today about bringing a firearm to Gagium on my next trip. They said I would have to come to the embassy to get approval or something."

After the staffer looked over the form and typed some of the information into a computer, they thanked him and said that he would be mailed a letter from the embassy on whether he would be granted a permit to bring his firearm and ammunition into Gagium or not. The staffer told him that the permit would be included with the letter if his application was accepted. Additionally, the staffer told him that the response should arrive at his house within 1-2 weeks and that he should make sure he has the proper locks and precautions needed to legally import a firearm into Gagium in the meantime.
The staffer asked for permission to take a photo of Yuri for the permit in order for it to be approved. He also asked if Yuri had committed any serious crimes.

Mr. Whittle and his aide spend the ride to the Railroad office chatting amiably with their host about Seqouyan culture and cuisine. They arrive after a short ride and go up to the office.
North of Freemont, Sequoyah
The film crew captures everything and speaks with one of the rangers and the indigenous woman. They continue north along the railway line to the city of San Juan Diego.
West of Freemont, Sequoyah
As the train chugs its way westbound through small towns and hills the documentary crew notices the railway guards getting more antsy and nervous. But all they see are herds of bison and the occasional canid that they think might be a wolf.

The prisoners received the news well.
